  4. Yes, sorry missed out the database bit
  5. You will find it at, Heavy Metal Core, Aircraft
  6. Unfortunately I have developed the same issue, G2 with a v2 cable, but I only play sp and I am experiencing this on all maps. The difference with me is that I have a relatively high end system and I have tried everything since the last update to put this right but to no avail. Thought it might be a sound issue at first as I was playing campaigns with a lot of voice overs and static noise, no. Then tried rolling back graphics drivers and this didn't work, nothing in the logs to suggest and thing wrong, removed all mods etc, etc, tried a new saved games folder as well, no joy. I don't see this on any other vr games I have so at a bit of a loss really. The symptoms for me are, Graphical glitches first, ie a bit of static noise across the screen, then the black screen in the headset, but the game carries on in the mirror, press pause and then the image comes back in the headset and you carry on until it happens again. Not sure what to try next.
  7. No change here Yet with December update.
  8. Piggybacking? Makes it quite difficult for the Helicopter to take off..... Instant Action AG2 Miz, Iraq Farp
  9. HI @King39 Thanks for the quick reply and hopefully a fix or explanation for this. Look forward to the next update. Scoop
  10. Hi @King39, just started playing your great campaign again. I am at Mission 5, get all the way to Egress smoothly, get the co ordinates for the downed pilot and contact pilot, 'jolly' is on his way, get the flares, then when you explode 'jolly' the mission crashes everytime due to the explosion. This is the last line entry in the log file which crashes it. '2024-12-09 10:55:20.670 WARNING EFFECTS2 (Main): OParticleSystem: preset 'missile' not found in 'volumetricPointLight.lua', using default'. Not sure how you are doing the destruction, but maybe this is the problem. Could you take a look please, I am in VR and all the previous missions have been ok Thanks Scoop
  11. Still works for me
  12. @Tomcatter87 thanks for the reply and heads up regarding which texture it is. I have now tracked it down to the description lua file update posted above for the Tanker. Both description lua's for the NE and NH have the stabs line set to 'false' when they should be set to 'true'. I guess as the fin and stabs are plain and have no squadron markings on them there was no need for a stabs texture file in their folders. When I looked at AE which also has a plain fin and stabs I noticed the stabs line set to 'true', and hey presto the problem was solved. Changed NE and NH to true and both aircraft are all good now. You might just want to check the download Tanker description lua's file update posted above. Again thanks for the great liveries
  13. @Tomcatter87 could you check Tanker NE and NH low vis as I get a texture missing for the Fin. The DDS file is there for both. I can't see any error in the lua so could you take a look. Thanks for the great liveries.
  14. Canopy not quite in place, latest MT version.
  15. Hi all, the A10CII On Call CAS Instant Action Mission for Afghanistan has the HMMWV parked in a strange place! Great mission BTW
  16. Strange one this, could someone else confirm. The IR pointer in night vision has one main beam and two flashing beams, three beams in total. A-10C II on Caucasus instant action, night free flight. This does not show on a screenshot, just the one beam visible so no point including one. Happens both in VR and pancake. Latest version just downloaded 2.9.9.2406MT
  17. This is not bad at the moment, would be great to have the car though Working on the last bit of testing but pleased to report the climb out, IAS, TAS and service ceiling has been achieved on both models. Will now pass these on to @Hawkeye60 and @Stratos Would be great if you could figure out how to get the sunshade on the canopy, like the real thing.
  18. Great picture
  19. @Ronin_Gaijin Are you trying to fly formation with a red plane???? Not something I tested, Anyway, here is my latest and last FM lua for the 1.4 version of the U2 Dragon Lady Mod. This one gets to 78,000ft with a much more realistic climb and time to altitude. You can air start with this and get to 78k using only one waypoint in the mission editor set at about 20 minutes from take off. dragon_lady.lua Do not use this version in the new U2s Dragon Lady mod posted by @Stratos and @Hawkeye60 above as it will not work correctly. The updated mod has a new model and slightly different attitude and therefore is displaying a higher pitch and AOA which makes it unstable above 75,000ft. I will correct this soon and pass to Stratos and Hawkeye. Scoop
  20. @D4n I tested the SA2 to confirm, and the limitation is the track radar altitude. The 'Fan Song' TR will only engage up to 57,000ft. Shame but nothing I can do about that . I did a few tests with the S200 and this engaged and fired with a successful shoot down at 78,000ft. @Ronin_Gaijin I will let you know
  21. Still works for me, check your DCS log file for errors
  22. I have been testing various new flight models and have now found out how to achieve stable flight to 78,000, I can get it to 80,000 but its just a bit on the edge at the moment in certain situations. Anyway 78 is good enough for me and as near to its known ceiling. I have also made changes to a number of other things that now make it possible to air start at any altitude and also runway start and climb to 78,000 without adding additional waypoints in the mission editor. In addition I have now tested against SAM sites and it will overfly all DSC SAM units, only S300-PMU2 and S300VM shot this thing down. I have not tried it against any Currenthill Mods. There is still more testing to do on this but someone else can have a go. As this is not my mod I will contact Hawkeye60 and see if he wants to include the updated lua in his Mod
  23. Ok here it is, this lua file replaces the one in the mod pack and will get you to 70,000ft, have fun trying to get to a higher altitude.... dragon_lady.lua I have detailed a lot of information in the lua so have a look at what I changed, most is as per the original aircraft specs that are on line, and most changes relate to changing numbers to the correct unit of measurement that DCS requires. They all seem to work. For the Mission Editor it is really important to stick to the aircrafts rate of climb time limits when creating waypoints ie, 9000ft per minute as trying to get higher quicker increases instability. The attached Miz file shows you how to do this as an example. DCS AI has a couple of strange behaviours when it comes to altitude, waypoints and rates of climb, therefore there are 3 waypoints one at 33000, one at 65000 and the last at 70000, Stick to these as they are important altitudes for DCS AI as it has a severe nose up attitude for some reason just after these numbers. You will see this when you play the file. This is on the Persian Gulf Map by the way. PG U2 Altitude Test.miz Things I have not tested yet, 1. Getting above 70500ft, 2. Air Starts at any altitude (all my tests are take off and landing), 3. Reaction to missile radars or threats. and 4. Weather restrictions. Have Fun
