My wish is that the F-105D and G get released as a dual pack because they worked toghether during the later stages of the war. Lets see; we are getting the AD4, F4B/C, F-100, A-7, MiG-15/17/19 and 21 and we have the OV-10 & A-4E mod. There is also a modder making the AH-1 Cobra (good prgress too). Plus someone announced the F-111. I think thats a good start. I'd like to see the following in the future (at least as AI assets first): O2 Skymaster AT-28D-5 and -10 Nomad/Trojan (Zorro) A-6E Intruder EA-6B Prowler S-2F Tracker WF-2 Tracer (AI only) F-8J Corsair A-26A (B-26K) OP-2E Neptune (Crazy Cat)

noted Would you want ANY heavy aircraft modules for DCS?
SOLIDKREATE replied to Wing's topic in DCS Core Wish List
Yeah that is right. It has been 25 years since I operated anything. I will still say to this day I hate SYGNOG and OFOM's. Maybe I was using the AN/APS-115, somthing like that? -
It would be nice. There are only two of us on these forums who have the 34-1-1's and I have the Supplements to go with them.

Oh, well there is still one interested party. This one is going to be a while out. The 3rd part DEV's are all working on a backlog of aircraft. Like I said a while back, I may have to teach myself 3DS Max and study the set up of the .LUA's of existing aircraft. I think trying to bite off a jet like the THUD would be a huge undertaking for me. Maybe it would be easier to make a Trainer. I did post in the Core Wishlist about the AT-28D.

I think this plane should be considered for the Core list. I had no idea about this variant until today and it's capabilities. It was a COIN bird used on the Ho Chi Minh Trail. Just look at all this bird can carry. Could you imagine SIX gunpods? *playing 'Jump'n Jack Flash*

It’s a Rescue panel. The fire crew or aircrew would chop at that section of the aircraft with an axe. Today we’d use power saws. -
I hope the AI assets will be (fingers crossed) The: A6M5 TYPE 0 MOD 52 B6N2a D4Y1 KAI MOD 21 G4M2a MOD 24 so we can down some heavy bombers.

As a former Sensor 3, I support the Orion. No way we’d ever get an ISAR variant because that system is still used today. An APS-137 variant is probably the most attainable. The draw back there is no ASW support in DCS without a MOD. So, no “pen bangers” for me. The fun spot in the tube would be the TACCO. We called them Smack-O’s. I think the only player positions should be the pilot in command, co pilot and the SS3. The FE, NAVCOM. SS1and SS2 can be AI. -
I believe SharpieXB needs to re-read the rules @NineLine Specifically 1.2, 1.4 and 1.10 https://forum.dcs.world/guidelines/

I think there should be a module that allows someone designated as s flight instructor the ability see and interact with the student and controls (by permissions setting). This would be for the function of the aircraft only and will not have the ability to stop the game or troll the student. The module would allow the student the ability to input the gamer tag of the Flight Instructor and the server where the training takes place. These conditions must be set in the game. The instructor would request permission from the student and the student will acknowledge either ‘give control’ or ‘deny control’. Much like how Microsoft Teams works. The instructor will have the ability to point to and highlight switches but not actually control anything unless that setting is toggled in the game settings. I think this type of module would be value added and provide a better and more realistic way to train. This would apply to squadron and public severs with the word ‘Training’ in the server name. The module will actually verify this condition. Or the server owner can toggle 'Allow Flight Instructor'.

Maybe it’s my browser? I’m using Chrome so that may be it. I’ll try Opera, Firefox or Edge. -
My prediction is 2025 or 26. Remember these guys are doing this in their spare time. It may never come out, who knows. I do know that at a minimum ED should require that an aircraft showcased as 'on the way' should be no more than 90 days away from completion. I think that hard rule would end a lot of the 'two more weeks' scenarios.

There's that pesky IR tracker requirement again. I wish I could use one but the time I had a Track IR 5, I got really sick. -

No worries Sir, thank you for bringing her to life. I honestly had a lump in my throat when I was reading about her and her crew.
