August bump to keep it relevant.

I'm aware of using a ksb export but that's to much work in my opinion.
-
A lot of Eagle Dynamic videos lately have had a night vision filter from a spectator view. Is that going to be a feature in the near future or is the video maker using a export method? As a "content creator" I would love to have this feature as most of my missions are at night but YouTube makes night videos almost unwatchable. And this could be a good training aid for night operation training missions. Such as a multiplayer group practicing night time aerial refueling and have a couple guys spectate as a boom operator giving talk ons.

Answer: Yes. You can make your own kneeboards. https://youtu.be/8_F31-cQnJY?si=wB9beh5N6F9hwmJ2

If the UPDATED
-
Yeah but it can be a scavenger hunt for those that don't live on the website. I'm thinking from the casual user that needs it without going through different portals. The image I attached is what I ended up finding last night but the manual wasn't current. But like you said, most of those are not up to date compared to the folder path to get to the docs. I'm just a huge believer in the KISS method, keep it simple stupid.
-
Requesting a new forum category just dedicated to module manuals. I know there's the folder route Eagle Dynamics > DCS > Mods > Aircraft > Docs for current manuals. But if we can the updated manuals on here in their own section I think that would be beneficial. Or keep the documentation section current Perfect example: Last night I was flying the AH-64 for the first time since the new update and had no clue what the new George controls were. Used my phone to look for the updated info on Google, youtube and couldn't find anything. If the updated manual was on here I could have just opened that on my phone while still flying. Instead of switching my computer screen back and forth between DCS and the manual.

+1. Guarantee a majority of players don't know there's manuals let along the process of accessing the manual.

When using templates to place units it would be nice if the combined joint task force would compile the blue/red templates. Not game breaking but when using the templates we have to do it by individual countries. It would just be nice to have all of blue or red sides templates right in one spot. Unless the combined joint task force isn't using all the blue/red sides units and is it's own group but has all the vehicles and aircrafts?

Correct fwd & aft. Made my correction

Welp...can't say you can't do a super hornet anymore...

At least give us the F/A-18D. More planes, and more for the carrier. -
Sounds like a lot of money and time to replace modules that we already have. I don't think any other developer can replicate the mirage let alone it's flight model. Razbam had constant feedback from active mirage pilots that were using the dcs for training before the C model was retired from France. It's the closest 1:1 aircraft in DCS.

The right side(FWD & AFT PDL) has a red light that adjusts based on your position. At night it's very hard to see, unaided or under nods. In my image that I shared above, the arrow is pointing where the red light is. The real KC-135 also had white flood lights that light up the fuselage so you can see the airframe instead of just a dark void against a dark sky

Because at night you can't even see the elevation light. It's been brought up numerous times. I even suggested this overlay idea as well. Tankers in general need a rework but only a small percent of users touch the tankers so it's barely even a priority to get fixed.

That would be nice as a killbox is a thing

reported earlier KC-135 PDL night light brightness

I know it is a low priority, just mentioning it's still an issue -
I'm requesting that we can make the search zone with the current circle option but also with a quad point option. The same as what we can do for trigger zones. Currently the AI option for (start enroute task > Search then engage in zone.) Is only a radius set up by distance in feet. For example if we are making a dedicated red air zone we could adjust the zone with quad point to be more accurate to a known zone vs a giant radius. This would also able to any AI with the search then engage in zone option.
