  1. Ich bin aus Grimma, liegt in der Nähe von Leipzig.
  2. Forget IL2, the modelling of MW50 was nonsense. Turn on the curcuit breaker for MW Stoff, right panel. Push the MW50 button on the left panel. All you have to do now is, push the power lever in full forward position to activate MW50. You have to watch the MW50 gauge, to know if it's on.
  3. It's "Stuvi" in the picture: "Sturzvisier". Maybe the labels on the plate weren't changed for the K-4.
  4. Messerschmitt Bf109 Einsatzmaschinen - Das Nachschlagewerk (Harald Helmut Vogt)
  5. Ok guys, you convinced me. :) I got it from a book, where the author states especially that. But how did they manage to use the wing cannons, when there were the oxygen tanks (right wing)?
  6. Hi DB605, which book/author is that from? Sorry, but i have seen many photos in the past of Bf109 with wrong descriptions, so i want to be sure.
  7. Every Bf109 with GM1 or MW50 couldn't use MG151 as wing cannons, because the oxygen tank was moved from the fuselage to the wing. So there is no photo of Bf109G-14, G-10 or K-4 with wing cannons. Simple fact. The R6 Rüstsatz isn't meant to be always the same on all Bf109 variants. Bf109G-6/R6 - wing cannons Bf109G-10/R6 - bad weather equipment, like Patin Kurssteuerung etc.
  8. Full throttle and automatic prop pitch. There's no reason to fly with manual prop pitch. To get the most out of your engine: Automatic Prop pitch. MW50 on. Throttle to max.
  9. The lever is modeled wrong. You have to switch the lever in the back position to activate the Revi. Now its forward, but the label says "AUS". aus = off Invert the lever position, that's all.
  10. Don't know, which source is that from? Never heard of that before... Like i said in my previous posts, use only automatic mode and you are fine. In the updated game manual, there are new descriptions about the MBG emergency lever: "MBG-Emergency lever switches MBG to manual operation by cutting off pressurised oil. In the case of MBG malfunction it allows to proceed flight using manual throttle valve. Normally this throttle fully opens at 40 degrees of the throttle giving a room for further automatic control. In the manual mode its range is extended up to 90 degree or full throttle lever range. Due to engine overstressing throttle must not be advanced beyond 2700 rpm or 60 degrees of its travel."
  11. Emergency take-off power only means 3250rpm and MW50. This is the maximal power setting of the engine, it has nothing to do with the emergency handle of the MBG.
  12. The tank behind the pilot (auxiliary tank) could be filled either with B4 fuel or with MW50. With the handle, you control where the "stuff" was injected. MW50 into the blower of the engine or B4 direct into the engine, something like that. But it's not modeled in the sim. We have only MW50.
  13. Hi Ultra, nice question. Maybe the devs could bring some light into the darkness? :helpsmilie: I will try to answer, from what i know... automatic mode=default mode: you can use the whole power setting of the engine. max. limit: 1,8ata/3250rpm + MW50 manual mode: for emergency situations, engine runs strange etc... max. limit: 1,55ata and 2700rpm (MW50 can't be used, because of the limitations.) - maybe it's something like a "save mode" for the engine? In the evening, i will take a look into the Jumo 213 manual.
Pakete: Gesendet... Empfangen... Verloren... Normalerweise sollten 4 gesendet werden und 4 empfangen. MfG Kane
MfG Kane
  20. "Also, the K-14 is a much better gunsight than the EZ42, so don't sweat it." Tests by american pilots proved, that the EZ42 was better than the K-14.
  21. LOOOOOOL  Best MiG21 movie ever...
  22. No, i mean the gauge for the manifold pressure.
  23. You are right. The manifold pressure was important to ground crews, for maintenance reasons. It's explained in the Jumo manual. BMW and Daimler engines were controlled by manifold pressure. The pilot chooses a certain pressure value and all other settings (rpm, propeller pitch etc.) were changed to meet the right conditions.
  24. Sources? -Jumo 213 Manual, there's all explained in detail -Die deutsche Luftfahrt - Flugmotoren und Strahltriebwerke (ISBN: 3-7637-6128-4) By the way, Yo-Yo explained it in the Jumo 213 engine thread as well (http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=114094).
