  1. According to Microsoft it is not a bug, but a feature. It is pre-rendering extra virtual monitors for enterprise VR use to avoid the large pause when Win32 apps are launched. Not good for gaming though. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/mixed-reality/new-microsoft-edge
  2. I placed the FARP fuel static along with a bunch of FARP tents and a vehicle to act as a MASH unit in my last Korean War mission. When I, and others, landed, comms for refuel, the ground crew does not respond. But when I took off I did indeed have a full tank of fuel (from fumes when I landed). No FARP, pad, etc. Caucasus map (our play pretend Korea).
  3. Unfortunately I cannot. I did a sound module install over the original install and it works fine now. No more oops messages. Thanks for your willingness to look into it though.
  4. The error has accelerated, lol. Now sound module quits about 10 minutes into the game and if I try to close and restart it my screen is taken over by "Oops! Something's got wrong at UDP send: Only one usage of each socket address ", etc. I think it has gone into demo mode. Same error as listed above in sartzsche' post. Edit: What I say taken over, I mean just that. A thousand or more little "Oops" screns are plastered everywhere. Further Edit: It does not say that it is in demo mode but I cannot get more than 10 minutes out of it.
  5. I have MFDs in my simpit set up like those of the F-16. No matter what, the scale will be off. Not worth the effort to be honest. The finger zappers become intuitive. As a matter of fact, I only use the MFDs for utility buttons now. External views, door gunner commands, kneeboards etc.

  7. The Vietnam War server. Public 24/7. Features the A-4E-C Skyhawk. Carriers available, both the Stennis and SC. Lots of ground targets available (tasking via F10 menu). Also Huey Gunships and F-5E3 Tiger IIs. https://discord.gg/C5C3Kw3
  8. To set the record straight. I am the owner of the Korean War and Vietnam War DCS servers as well as the Early Cold War Servers Discord channel. We have never discussed using WWII carrier based planes in our co-op missions. The public co-ops that we run are based exclusively on planes flown during the Korean War (F-86F Sabre) and the Vietnam war (A-4E-C Skyhawk and the F-5E3 Tiger II). We try not to include mods that would preclude people from joining in spontaneously, with the exception of the A-4E-C Skyhawk. While I applaud Hawkeye's passion and dedication to modding and very much appreciate his Bell 47G reskin I do not want people to get a false sense of what our servers and co-ops are about.
  9. If anyone wants to try out the Bell 47G in its icon role as a Medevac chopper jump into the Early Cold War Private server and have fun. Lots of Blue AI F-86-F Sabre pilots in need of rescue. The password is boom. MASH locations are all along the front.
  10. If you have not had any issues with the virtual monitors then this fix is not needed for you ;) Edit, that sounded snide, was not meant that way. Issues: Sometimes icons/windows etc will be moved to one of those monitors and are not accessible on the real monitors. If you are using Point CNT FCUs then it messes up your attempts to calibrate and you have to manually get rid of each virtual monitor one at a time. This way you do not have to do that. So far as I know there is no downside to removing the virtual monitor driver unless you use WMR in an Enterprise Environment (no, not the game Bridge Crew, lol).
  11. Not sure if this has been mentioned before: To remove the three virtual monitors created when WMR starts: You can disable the "Virtual Display Adapter" in Device Manager. The three virtual displays will not reappear. You may have to turn on "Show Hidden Devices" under View menu at the top to see it. A dozen reboots and one minor windows update and the fix is still working. That takes care of that annoyance...
  12. WMR USERS: To remove the three virtual monitors created when WMR starts: You can disable the "Virtual Display Adapter" in Device Manager. The three virtual displays will not reappear. 13. You can use OvGME mod enabler to use both this mod and the AH6 mod. One click to disable or enable each mod.
  14. You are very welcome. Love to help out fellow Sabre pilots. PM'd you.
  15. Your question was "Where do I bind my potentiometers" (paraphrasing). You cannot for those inputs. ;) But where would you bind encoders? In control options look for AN/ARN-6 Radio Compass section. At the bottom you wil find AN/ARN-6 Tuning Crank - CCW/Decrease Frequency and CW/Increase Frequency. Under Instrument Panel they inputs you want are AN/ARN-6 East/West Variation Knob - CCW/East and CW/West
  16. Those controls are not axis (for use with Potentiometers) they are incremental rotational. They have no stop like an axis would. For those inputs rotary encoders would be best. You can wire them up pretty easily depending on your interface board. You would need two button inputs per encoder. Here is an example http://www.leobodnar.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=98_75&products_id=191
  17. Added a video of our last co-op Vietnam mission on the first post. Thanks goes to Dingo for creating it.
  18. For the group co-op missions skill is not a requirement. Just join in and have fun. ;)
  19. We have changed the name of the server to: The Korean War. It is less of a mouthful than "The Forgotten War 1950-1953". And since we started "The Vietnam War" server it just makes more sense in the discord server as well. Thanks to everyone who logs in and enjoys the server.
  20. Sorry for the poor quality of these images, someone will be along with better ones. Our Rescue BAT 2 3 mission last night. Thanks again for everyone's participation.
  21. Awesome turnout last night, we had 23 pilots clearing the path for BAT 2 3 to get to the landing zone. After 4 hours of flying we are still not close enough. In two weeks, Aug 9th at 19:00 UTC will are going to complete the task.
  22. I host "The Vietnam War" public server. Of course it would be fantastic to have a Vietnam map. And hopefully, as several of you have commented on, it would generate interest in creating Vietnam era modules. We do have the F-5 and the awesome free A-4E-C Skyhawk mod but it would certainly be great to fly them over a Vietnam map instead of our pretend it is Vietnam Caucasus ;)
  23. I have Vioce Attack and Viacom on as well as SrS and the A-4 works fine. But I do not have VA tied to SrS. I use separate PPT for each. I was able to talk to you on global and turn on the ground power.
  24. This Sunday (July 26th) at 19:00 UTC we are holding a large co-op event. We already have 25 pilots signed up to fly featuring the A-4 Skyhawk and the F-5 Tigershark. We have 13 A-4 pilots, 11 F-5 pilots and one pilot who will be flying a P-51 as our Forward Air Controller. There are 6-7 others who are "maybe". If you are interested in joining in on the mission jump into the Discord (listed on the first page) and sign up. Do not forget to update your A-4 install to the latest 1.4 release.
