  1. I just tested it out and got it working with no problems. I will try to answer your questions: 1. you need to copy this line: dofile( "C:\\Users\\[username]\\Saved Games\\DCS\\Scripts\\telemetryBF109.lua") and add it to the end of your export.lua file. I recommend when you edit the export.lua file that you use something like Notepad++ as some editors will add hidden characters that might cause the LUA scripter to have problems. 2. the telemetryBF109.lua file you downloaded will have a line that looks something like this: bfhost, bfport = "192.168.0.101", 6001 -- replace IP with android device ip You are going to need to find out what the IP address is that has been assigned to your android device. The app that you installed has a menu item Show IP. This tells DCS World where to send the telemetry data. 3. you are not changing the IP address of your android device. Only entering it into the .lua file so DCS knows where to send the data. 4. nope not dangerous (in this case ;)). The app you installed on your andriod device cannot query your PC for the information. Your PC, which is running DCS World must voluntarily send the information. BTW thanks for pointing out this app. I had a lot of fun figuring it out and playing around with it. It is very responsive to the sim and does not appear to lag at all.
  2. Got a track?
  3. I can't wait to buy this!!! Love helo Sims and this one in particular looks awesome!
  4. Oh, well damn. Odd that I can find it from my iPad but not from my PC. I wonder how that works? Thanks mwd2 for your help :)
  5. This is very odd. I was inspired to try this campain out when I read this Mudspike article I found here: http://www.mudspike.com/dcs-world2-the-enemy-within/ When I google search for this on my iPad I am able to find it in the DCS user files here: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/1286622/ and I am able to view this from my iPad. But if I attempt to go to that URL from my PC I am getting "Element is not found" from the DCS website. To try to get around this I emailed myself the link to the .rar file from my iPad to my PC, which is: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/download.php?iblock_id=1&id=1286622&goto=%2Fupload%2Fiblock%2F399%2FEnemy_Within_NEW_COMPLETE.rar but again I am met with failure as I then get a "404 not found" error from the browser. Does anyone else have this problem and/or have a way I can get around this?
  6. The problem with the Cessna is that it has been done to death with almost every other sim out there.
  7. What I'm saying is that the roll indicator is also the pitch indicator. If you place the attitude bar between the bars of the FD indicator you will have both the roll and the pitch.
  8. The indicators on the HUD are giving both pitch and bank information.
  9. I've got it!. :) I found the Smart Technology Programming Software and in fact I had both 7.0.39.0 and 7.0.27.13 installed at the same time! I uninstalled both then took a look into my device manager and under the Saitek Magic Bus heading I have a number of warnings. When I check the version of everything in there I discover that the Hotkeys, Keyboard, and Mouse are all using the 7.0.39.0 drivers!! So I uninstalled everything there as well. I then proceeded to re-installed both the 7.0.39.0 drivers followed by the 7.0.27.13 SST software (which I found exactly where you said I could find it). Everything is now functioning as it should. Thanks very much for your help with this!
  10. Thanks for your reply Ian! How did you uninstall the SST software? I could not find an uninstaller anywhere.
  11. I forget what version I was running before but I upgraded to the latest drivers on the Saitek site which brings me to 7.0.39.0 for both the software and the driver. The joystick still functions as far as the control panel is concerned but now when I assign a profile to the joytick it no longer functions like a keyboard. Does anyone know how to restore this functionality?
  12. Some people just like the social interaction. :) I see no harm in answering and I like the easy ones.
  13. Not entirely on topic but fun to see anyways: Here is a picture of a Hurricane having the guns adjusted at night in the winter:
  14. As I said in the original thread there was only the .diff.lua file there and deleting it had one effect at all. Has anyone managed to be able to bind this to a keyboard key?
  15. Yes I saw I could bind it to my joystick but I use a Saitek X-52 Pro which I have programmed (which makes it emulate the keyboard) so I really need it to be a keyboard command. :(
  16. This option is under the "Engine" subsection but it does not appear to be bind-able to a key. I tried resetting the keyboard config file but I cannot find the keyboard.lua file to delete. I tried removing the keyboard.diff.lua file but that didnt do anything.
  17. I could not agree more! The sounds, the handling, and the exterior and interior design is simply amazing. Before this module and the F-86 I didn't really know alot about this era of aicraft but I am now inspired to learn it all.
  18. Thanks Owl I forgot DCS puts those details on the product page. :)
  19. Bunyap where did you get the slides for the schematics (ie oxygen, airflow, etc.)?
  20. I was able to update the DCSW program. I then used the module manager to download the Mig-15 module. It came back the same error after installing the module. I tried running the repair option and this failed to resolve the issue as well. I tried installing the Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013 : http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784 This also did not help, but reinstalling both the x86 and x64 version of Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 4 did work!!! http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679 One thing I found odd is that it never asked me for my serial number to activate the Mig-15 module. I saw it start the activation process but then it jumped away and *poof* I was in the cockpit! :)
  21. Because I need the mouse to click on buttons and switches I would recommend using the num keypad to pan view. In addition to this, holding the Ctrl+Shift will move your PoV around which I don't think you can do with the mouse.
  22. I do have the FW-190 and Bf-109 sound mods installed. I'll try disabling those and see how that goes. Thanks for the suggestion! EDIT: I just disabled them and you were right on the money. Problem is gone now. Sad, because I really liked those sound mods and it was the first ones I really liked. Rep inbound!
  23. Has anyone else experienced this? I have all sounds set to 90% except for helmet sounds at 60% and music at 0%. I start up the engines and close the canopy. The second my wheels start to roll there is a defening sound which I can only assume should be the wheels rolling on the tarmac but it is so loud that I am forced to quickly turn off my speakers. Has anyone else had this happen?
  24. Is it jus me but does it look like the landing gear struts are poking through the top of the wing. I made a small practise ground attack mission and loaded up an F-86 on the runway with full fuel, bomb and rockets. Perhaps the weight of all that has the shocks loaded but it still should not have that rendering.
  25. I'm not seeing this in the DCS E-shop.... Am I missing something?
