Question- what if the player wants to skip all the crew chief scripts? Just start the jet and taxi? Sometimes I'm just not that interested in taking 20 mins to run BITs etc. I get enough of that at work.

Edit: Repair export didn't solve my issues. DCS takes a long time to start/load missions/exit to main screen and more often than not crashes (locks up, unresponsive, forcing me to quit via task manager, I don't get the crash log ever). Not sure what's up. I've run a slow repair, deleted all FXO and metashader files, rebooted my PC a few times. Updated BIOS, updated NVIDIA drivers. Could be that, I suppose. Edit: Updated to latest beta 2.9.3. Seems to be working with only the occasional crash. Prob something in the plumbing of my rig and programs running in background.

Beta for Corsair MIGHT be causing DCS to take forever to load and also multiple crashes. I'm guessing it's also something to do with being a different folder than stable? Different export.lua? I think that mean I just need to repair the export? Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks. Gotta have that Wasp rumble haha

I agree. I meant to include the above re: a new kit from the same package.

I received the same advice about using two sticks of the same make and production date vice mixing up 4 even if they are the same brand bought at different times.

Any chance ED can follow up on the infinite chaff/flares the AI have? Or is it enabled if a player enables unlimited weapons for player aircraft?

If you set up a symbolic junction to another drive just for updates as linked below (due to drive size limits), don't forget to add that downloads folder to your windows security scan exclusion list.

For the public record, I think Baltic makes the best campaigns for DCS in the world.

Thanks for the clarification. It’s a great model. Not to be “that guy” but my old F-5 VFC buddies would be the first to say that they aren’t ‘aggressor pilots’ they are ‘adversary pilots.’ Air Force versus Navy semantic difference I know. But they get touchy about it lol

I can’t imagine the frustration third-party developers must feel having to revisit their work every time Eagle dynamics puts out an update.

@baltic_dragon I'm very sorry to say that I'm having immense difficulties playing this campaign due to all of the communications issues, static, typos, scripted errors that DCS updates have inserted into your campaign. DM incoming.

For anyone who runs into issues with this: dial in the airfield TACAN channel (found on kneeboards or the f10 map view) and switch to TCN mode on your HSI. I agree, an excellent training campaign. Learning a LOT about the A-10C.

I experienced the same thing on headphones in VR. Recordings were borderline painful loud. I do have hear like helmet selected. Also a weird glitch in mission 1 - I couldn’t close the canopy using the normal DCS shortcut. Exited game- launched a quick instant action mission and it worked. Went back into the game. Shortcut didn’t work. Strange.

I’m having the same issue. Hopefully a software update fixes it, but we know how that goes.

Just wanted to check- it sounds like this issue happens if player uses a GBU instead of LMAV on the first attack of the convoy. Is this in the next update/fix? Just happened to me like above. Ghost says "send it" and then...nothing.

I second this. Got a cheap tablet and using openkneeboard is a force multiplier- definitely recommend!
