Did another experiment as i saw someone pointing at weapons removed all weapons and pods from the SU-30 and ran the same mission again in Syria.. framerate was much better.. it had some shorts periods where it still droped to 10ish but overall ran at arround 40-50fps where with weapons it barelly toped 13fps
  2. Did you set the POS to GPS instead of INS? time ago there was an issue where in INS it would allways miss while GPS was more accurate
  3. more info.. i made a mission with only the SU30 alone in Syria (not anything else added) it runs normally at arround 50fps

FIRST: Sorry about the inconvenience as editing this post is only resulting in breaking it more and more and thanks to ED for making the worst forum interface i ever seen in 30 years of web surfing Ran a couple experiments.. loaded several jets in that mission as was getting fair amount FPS (from high 70s to 110) %5Bimg%5Dhttps%3A//i.imgur.com/NS7k2ec.jpeg%5B/img%5D Then loaded latest SU-30 version and drops to single digit figures ..both in cockpit and outside then i found something interesting.. My plan (wich i did after) was to replace the previous version (2.7.98b) to compare framerate So right after taking the screenshots of low FPS in the current 2.8.02b ver ..i pushed ESC to get to the menu and as soon as i press ESC and get the game menu frame rate raises to 100-110 instantly.. null You can still move the camera arround so the game is rendering the 3D model..but as soon as you go back to game framerate drops to single digit .. press ESC and raises to 110 again BTW.. the previous version of the SU-30 (2.7.98b) runs ar arround 50-70fps:
  5. So my 8600K /32gb RAM / 4070 super can run Syria even in MP with the F-14, F-16, F-18, F-5, C-101 .... but cant run the latest SU-30 and the problem is... my hardware..
  6. It better be.. 14900 runs 24 cores.. my 8600K runs 6
  7. i can confirm the performance problem.. loaded a mission i had done for normal navigation in Syria offline wich has some planes , ships and assets.. no prolems with all the other modules, with the new SU-30 it tops 12fps.. with as low as 5 .. unplayable
  8. Short ago i engage the level autopilot and it would just dive to the ground.. i tried as soon as it begins to dive i change a bit the altimeter setting (CTRL + - i think) and doing that it just stops diving and levels off as its suposed to do

  10. Since today update if i select 2 or more pylons with rockets the ERR light comes on and the selected weapons except the gun doesnt work.. I do the same i allways did until today and allways worked.. remove stick guards, master mode to AG, master arm on.. select pylons with the rocket pods (usually in pairs) , selector to ROC and i would get the R in the upper panel and work correctly.. Now it doesnt.. it flashes ERR light. but if i select only one pod , no matter wich side the ERR light comes off and it fires that pod normally.. so the only way right now since today update to use rockets is to use individual pods I even checked in mission editor that the pods were the same type of rockets just in case If the pilons have bombs and i select them and bomb mode it works fine (no ERR light and they drop in pairs as expected)
  11. The manual says otherwise And i have used the gun a lot in AG and AUTO works actually quite well.. accidentally or not..
  12. In the CC manual is explained.. the gunsight has 2 options.. fixed and gyroscopic (AUTO). AUTO mode tries to give you a kinda CCIP solution.. works fine with the guns..not so with everything else.. for droping stuff or using rockets is prefered to set it to manual and set depresion MILS acording to bombing /rocket tables.. It also works in air to air in AUTO .. both as a gyro stabilized gunsight and also as the piper for the IR seeker.. you can even set a range so you know where a 35f wingspan target would be in range aligned with the sight if fits between the sight marks
  13. Is this why now when i switch level flight AP it just nose dives into the ground?
  14. Well i managed to fix it.. i had to copy the mod files to the core folder liveries of each plane into the "default" folder .. now it shows back in english
  15. In my case ALL cockpits reverted to russian, Flankers and Frogs included So we need to copy them to the core folder as "English" folder? not overwrite whats in default or create folders as default?
  16. Seem to have stop working with one of the latest updates... any ideas ?

BTW i tried beating the mission recently and i ended at a point where i would not get new missions.. if i cancelled the mission i was "suposedly" in it would give me another ..then it began giving me missions i had allready done and then it stoped giving any new missions..it would remain stuc at "incoming call" . does that mean i beated all avalaible missions?
  18. The server has to support the mod.. 4YA has a new mod server wich supports the SU-30 ..i used it there 2 times

  20. Anyone here knows servers that use this bird? specially if they run missions ( like CSAR for the other choppers)
  21. yeah i copied the mod folder back to the saved games folder and now i can load MP servers again
  22. In some missions i did to just fly it arround i can contact tower.. you need to have the radio on for sure but i got permision to start , hover and departure.. i cant get the ships to answer for permision to land tough (i can in the Huey)

Not a huey pilot either .. but the old feels much more natural and smoother somehow.. and also the torque vs temp vs actual cruise speed seem on point with the reported 205/UH-1H figures (cruise speeds arround 100-110k) But even ignoring all that the biggest issue (apart from the horribly VRS thing) i can tell is just from seeing a LOT of Huey videos how much left pedal the pilot uses on take off and hover.. and its not even 1/3 of what needs to be used with the new flight model.. that could contribute for the twitchiness of new FM
  24. Since last update yesterday this plane breaks multiplayer and game CTD trying to enter a MP server (same issue with SU-30 and SU-57)
  25. After last update this breaks MP again (same with JAS39 and SU57 , i know unrelated but just to clarify this is not the only one affected by last update)
