  1. And because this flight time doesnt get loged on Syria unless you start airbone .. noticed my offline missions werent loging any flight time.. then tried another wich started airbone and it did..

It logs time in seconds.. so if you know how many minutes you been up there multiply X 60 and add to totalflighthours and dayflighthours or night acordingly.. also same in the jet used. basically if you loged 2 hours in daytime in a F-16 you would need to open the logbook and sum 7200 to : ["daytime"] , ["flightHours"] and in the F-16 section to ["flightHours"] and ["daytime"] too.. same with landings, refuelings and stuff.. be carefull backing up the logbook and making sure its fully closed by whatever editor you use before starting DCS or you might find everything reseted to 0 ... ask me how i know
  3. Same here.. mostly in Enigma's cold war server.. the other 2 i play Syria kinda work but laggy as hell on start.. Some folk told me to disable Supercarrier and it worked much better (i could actually play)

Well.. found out more I was trying other servers in Syria to see if it was just an Engima's cold war thing or map+online related.. i was in the Levant Syria server (wich loded fine.. slow at first and takes a lot to load textures but you can play being a bit patentient) and some folk told me to try disabling Supercarrier module.. So i tried.. disabled supercarrier.. restarted game and surprise... Enigma's cold war loaded as fine as the other servers...it lags a lot in the slot selection screen but could pick a slow and spawn a jet on the first try same as the others... So aparently something is wrong between SuperCarrier and Enigma's cold was server.... as the other Syria servers dont seem so affected
  5. Did some more testing.. and still a nightmare.. Played for a while in 4YA syria server.. it takes a lot at loading but i can play... then move to enigma and nope.. as soon as i got to the slot picking list it just becames unresponsibe and freezes there ... any cliking on screen brings the "DCS has crashed" dialog ... RAM usage at that point on task manager is arround 11-12gb so its not a lack of RAM thing... internet conexion is good ... processor is a 8600K 6 cores.. during freeze one of the cores (usually 0) is at 100%.. killing that in CPU afinity doesnt help at all
  6. I cant enter anymore this server.. 95% of the times... Every time i try to enter it just freezes in the chose airframe screen.... and i can join other servers with no much problem.. is like if the game colapses or becames overloaded... have 32gb RAM
  7. Unless you want to navigate to a TACAN or drop LGBs.. or drop bombs individually
  8. Did more testing in multiplayer in Syria Get the noise in the F-15C and A-10A... noticed in the radios that if i turn volume down on radio 2 the noise was gone.. radio 2 was set to 116mhz.. so i turned volume up again and changed to 118 and noise was gone..
  9. Found hilarious that the FC F-5 gets a INS while the full one has to keep playing with TACAN and so

For starters i cant see the FC F-5 to carry the GBU-12 LGB.. wich is funny as the lasing has to be done externally and the bomb laser code is set from outside too.. so its not like if the jet cant "support" it when the full fidelity can.. Not only difference.. i think the FC one can turn tighter and better at slow speeds .. but could be impression...
  11. Same problem me .. got FC2024 but keep getting that notification that i can install FC3
  12. I got FC2024 as i had planed anyway to get the FC MIG-15 and F-86.. however now every time i get in DCS it shows a warning in the modules section and asks to install FC3.. if i do it closes game and updates stuff but everything keeps the same.. keeps saying if i want to install FC3
  13. Well its happening again.. on the 15C at least... switched to the SU-27 and noise is gone

  15. The 27P is passive radar homing.. would that work against ground radars too or is only used against air radars? EDIT: just saw that in russian R-27R is writen R-27P so yeah...no P variant here it seems
  16. I know but in my case the binding is way faster than trying to get the TDC there with preccision between the options
  17. Well now that the new fuze options are implemented and we can chose the fuze type on the mk84 and delay and stuff im playing with them on the bunkers ... Hope someone releases a guide with all the avalaible fuzes and the options and what use or how should be used.. some bombs by default wont even explode..just go into the target and do nothing.. playing with settings and fuzes i managed to destroy a bunker with the A-10A but it took 10 mk84s (rearming once).. there must be some setting that allows less bombs? i know im not going to get the same result as a GBU-31 or GBU-24 wich are the same warhead but they are optimized for penetration and bunker busting.. but there must be an optimal fuze/timer setting for the mk84
  18. Thats funny as every time i fire the first sidewinder is nearly like if have droped a bomb .. sudden roll to one side and nasty wobbling when on high alpha
  19. Just to add up: In search mode ground radars show up but nothing else.. with no search mode everything but those show up .. if you press search you wont even get a launch warning Edit: Wait.. so i have to chose if i want an Air SA or a ground SA?
  20. Now if you press search nothing shows up...and with no search mode engaged everything shows
  21. Now if i press the SEARCH button NOTHING shows up on RWR.. NOTHING depress it and everything shows... its even more broken than before Search button pressed: nothing No search option: all shows up

They still need to adress the AI being godlike in terms of sensors and SA as they see everything with not just impossible angles (like engaging something 90º bellow them or +100º to one side) impossible radar ranges (like my F-5E AI wingman reporting radar contacts 120nm away) but even through mountains... so clouds go totally out of the window...
  23. So we are gonna have a funny situation.. We have 3 Flanker cousins, all with working datalink showing contacts in the HSD , and i asume in real life they had same datalink option as the Fulcrum to display DL targets into the HUD with all the interception steering info... but being FC3 no working that besides showing on the HSD Then now we are gonna have the Fulcrum-A with working datalink in the HUD with all the selection and steering info... but no working HSD....
  24. Interesting... Would the target distance , vector and altitude also show up in the HUD like if it was one of your own generated targets ? would be really helpfull to get to see wich one is the highest danger

Since last big update (cockpits update) the A-10A has issues cold starting in MP maps Normally in offline (and before in MP too) engine start is dead easy as any other FC3 jet with the consideration that after one engine started the APU needs to spool down before starting the other.. so you cant start it right away as the first one is just stabilized.. then when the APU spools down to near 0 you start the other engine and thats it.. Since the cockpit update ..in MP servers when i cold start it .. first engine starts normally but when it stabilizes the APU doesnt spool down..it continues running at 100% and second engine wont start -Then i discovered something.. once the first engine is running and the APU is still running ..if i throttle up a bit then APU it will spool down.. i have to hold the throttle up a bit until it fully spools down.. then you can start the second engine... but the issue doesnt end up here.. when you start the second the APU spools up to about 60-70&% and stops there so the engine doesnt start.. if you again add a bit of throttle for a few seconds then it does spool up to 100% and then the second engine starts normally I have tried going back to offline , starting it and it starts normally as ever.. seems like a MP only issue and happens in all the servers i tried so far..
