I dont think that any flight sim comes close to condor when it comes to FM... Give it a try... Thermalling is amazing...

I have the same situation here. I was able to play FC last week. But this week I just installed a new hdd and starforce asks me for a new activation, which I dont have one. I used the registry save thing but it did not work either... I sent 2 emails to activation@lockon.ru, bu no reply yet...

In the producers's notes, we read "4808" on the control panel of the HUD, where you adjust brightness, etc. What is 4808? It is hand-written I suppose... Does it have a meaning? Sorry if asked before... I was not able to find an answer via the search function...

These kind of threads are nothing more then wishfull thinking and fantasies... ED announced many times that they are planning to release those platforms mentioned by GGTharos in the previous thread. I dont know if our life time will be enough to see all those mentioned stuff released but I believe that any kind of next gen aircraft cannot be done by ED in the short and medium run... In the long-run, we are all dead, afterall...

The top of the mountain is 1965 m from sea level. There is another take-off at the top, but this photo is taken from 1.700m take-off. You can climb easily to 3000m in a nice hot summer noon, with nice thermals...

Where is this place? It looks like Oludeniz/Turkey... 1.700 take-off... I guess I had more then 30 flights from 1.700 take-off.. Great place...

Maybe they made this set up just for entertaintment purposes, i.e. for PS3 and DVD's:)

I would expect somthing like the one in Longbow-2... It was a game of 1997 and I havent seen any better training missions in any game, including LOMAC...

Discovery Channel has such series like top ten helicopters, top ten fighters etc... In one of those series regarding top ten helicopters, Huey was number one.. Apache followed that... UH-60 and Hind was on the list AFAIK...

Card temps are OK and I did not make any changes like mods etc...

I upgraded my rig. and installed Vista Ultimate 64 bit version. Then I made a clean install of Lock on, Flaming Cliffs and patches. I was able to enter the game once but after that, Lock on wont work under vista 64 bit. It just freezes during the loading screen. Is there a solution for that?

Thanks for the reply... Mine was not a complaint though... I wouldn't blame ED if it directed resources to military sim business. This is money making afterall...

I guess ED is pretty much busy with military contracts (which are obviously more rewarding then entertaintment sim business) and resources are directed to military sims... That is why we will not see this sim this year imho...

I guess megaupload was used for illegal sharing of copyrighted material. With a court order, the site was banned. When it comes to youtube, there were some content humiliating Turkish Republic and its founder Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. That is why the site was again banned with a court order.

I am ok with the ownership argument, as the video is good way to generate traffic to SIMHQ... But the problem is, the D/L link on SIMHQ wont work... It is dead:) Instead of generating traffic, it is more like an anger trigger:)
