  1. Yay! Small thing, but it bugged me a lot.
  2. jdba97 has also started a series of F/A-18, co-op missions (three so far) called "Operation Ceder Shield". I haven't played them yet, but worth a look: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/filter/type-is-multiplayer/unit-is-fa-18c/user-is-jdba97/apply/
  3. Operation Hormuz is great - I played that with a mate in 2-player co-op and it was fine. We've also played Operation Mountain Lion and Oil in the Water - both cool, but I would recommend opening each miz file in the Mission Editor and saving it, so it updates for stuff in the latest DCS versions. I think we had to enable/disable the carrier deck crew in some missions as the statics on deck messed it up. We also removed the dust from some missions in OitW as the new dust/fog made it very hard to see anything.
  4. Strange - NVPI DLSS override works fine for me with 572.70 and NVPI 2.4.0.18 (on a 4090).
  5. Yeah, I use them for View controls. The analog stick for moving the view around in external camera mode and the upper one for selecting different view (e.g. weapon view, fly-by view, F10 Map view, etc.) in all airframes - jests, helos, props. You need SimAppPro running to have the vibrations working.
  6. I have the Viper stick grip with the EX Shaker Kit (more hats and rumble)
  7. I started with the F/A-18 throttle grips, then later swapped to the F-15 EX throttle grips with finger lifts - much better having more buttons, hats and rumble vibration.
  8. You don't need DLSSTweaks to show the DLSS Hud, just use the registry settings: Set manually or copy this into a .reg file and run it. For me I only see it in 2D, so I run it in 2D to check. DLSS Hud On: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\NGXCore] "ShowDlssIndicator"=dword:00000400 DLSS Hud Off: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\NGXCore] "ShowDlssIndicator"=dword:00000000
  9. Hi All. Does this setting work for anyone in DCS 2.9.12.5336.1? I tried a range of setting for "options.graphics.lights" using a night approach to a carrier and airport, however all settings were the same... airport light first visible around 24.6 miles and the carrier at around 5.5 miles. I could see from my dcs.log that it took the setting... I just did not see any difference in light visibility distance.
  10. There is a new nvidia hotfix driver 572.24 for game crashes. I've read it is aimed at DX11 and DLSS4, so might be worth a try. https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5624
  11. Will be interesting to compare these. Will grab the new DLSSTweaks just released on NexusMods and give it a whirl. So the DLSS override you can do in the nvidia app is only for specific "whitelisted" games? I was hoping to point it at DCS.exe
  12. No for me. TDC holds steady. Maybe something else mapped to TDC as well?
  13. I'll definitely be trying it out today.
  14. Seems to still work ok for me after the 2.9.12.5336 patch. I removed all mods, updated DCS, did a slow repair (just because), then enabled mods again.
  15. Is the is the mod required? US Navy Deck Equipment https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3301580/
  16. Works fine here. Are you using any custom cockpits? If so, you need to ensure the following is in the description.lua for the custom cockpit to enable the pilot model kneeboard. {"Pilot_F18_FP_Map", 0, "mfd3", true};
  17. EDIT - I realised I had to download your package from the releases section on github to get the scripts Hi @bojote - I'm trying to get this running. I can install Python 3.11.x, torch and whisper, but I can't find the recorder.py or transcriber.py scripts anywhere. There is a 'transcribe.py' script under the 'local-packages\Python311\site-packages' folder but no transcriber.py or recorder.py. Any hints where I might find them?
  18. It used to work a patch or two ago. My friend setup a Dynamic DNS entry for his public IP to make it easier to join when he hosted a game. Not a big deal as I can still find him in the Server Browser and connect that way (which uses the IP address). Just a slight annoyance that it used to work and is now bugged. At least there is a simple workaround.
  19. ok - I just did some testing with a random public server. If I connect via IP address to this OCG server it is all fine and I get the Join Coalition dialog (27.122.117.173). If I join via the DNS name (ocg.hi-powered.net), then I am left in spectator mode with no dialogs. If I choose "Select Role" from the menu, it drops me at the F10 map with the join coalition button in the top left selected, but no actual Join Coalition dialog showing.
  20. DNS was resolving correctly, as I could connect to the server. It just would not give me the join coalition dialog - I was just hanging in space in VR over an airfield.
  21. Interesting. I've had issues recently with my friend hosting an MP game and when I connect (via FQDN / DNS name) it joins his server, but I have no coalition selection dialog... so can't choose a side or a slot. Online MP servers I select from the server list work though - and those connect via IP address. I'll test connecting to my friend via IP address rather than FQDN / DNS name and see if it works.
  22. The settings can toggle for me in single player, but not in multiplayer. Not a big deal for me as I like it on all the time, but strange the behaviour differs between single and multiplayer.
  23. Done
  24. Hooking OpenXR with the Varjo seems to be a challenge. You may want to try this ReShade Add-On (not shaders, but an add-on). The author has a Varjo Aero.
  25. ReShade 6.3.1 now out.
