  1. Testing……iOS Version & Win11 download and install…100% configuration … 100% network connectivity … 100% manual test … 100%
  2. Extremely capable throttle unit! Best choice I could have made from those available on the market. Stiff….sometimes, but finger lifts and an occasional tension adjustment take care of and concerns.
  3. TC, I use these buttons for my Tobii 5 head/eye tracking hot keys across all aircraft. I use button 56 to enable/disable and button 50 to auto center. You could do the same with TiR as well.
  4. Quick question….. Is this the correct mounting plate for the Orion 2 throttle from Monstertech? https://www.monster.tech/en/product/joystick-throttle-mounting-plate/ Thanks for any info!
  5. @Woogey Best News ever! Those Euro liveries will be more than welcome. Sembach Air Base: 601st Tactical Control Wing, with 20th Tactical Air Support Squadron, 601st Tactical Air Support Squadron, and 704th Tactical Air Support Squadron.
  6. In a presumed attempt to save storage/archive space, over 90% of the DCS A-10A Liveries maintained under “Download/User Files” have disappeared. if ED is watching, we’d sure like to get those back - unless there’s a model change prohibiting that request, if not, it would be really great for a community artist to remake these missing liveries. I know I’d appreciate it and I’m sure A-10A pilots on the CWG map would too. If there’s anything I can do to help, let me know. Thanks!
  7. Spawn points don’t match between editor and game either.
  8. Opps….. Got sidetracked (pun intentional).
  9. Bitburg, Spangdahlem, Hahn, Ramstein…and that’s just the beginning. I’ve died and gone to heaven. Dreams do come true….eventually!
  10. Module: Combined Arms Problem: When a player leaves one vehicle for another vehicle, the new vehicle has no engine sounds. The weapon sounds appear to be working.

  11. Reflected; Just watched Spud’s preliminary review video on Red Flag 81-2 and I saw that long line of beautiful A-10As on the Nellis ramp. Please tell me you’ll consider a companion campaign for the A-10A to accompany this one with the F-4E, especially in light of the pending release on the Cold War Germany map. Appreciate ALL your work!
  12. Reporting very minor error in Mission Briefing: There are 4 spawn points for client aircraft on the Map: Andersen AFB in the North Antonio International Airport in Central area Abe Lincoln Carrier to the Northwest of Andersen Facpi Point Air Mobile Sea Base (Southwest Island) North Jungle FARP Jungle FARP Old Orote small airfield in the West Pontoons East of Jungle FARP South Jungle FARP ..should be 9. Keep up the great work!
  13. Would love to see some Talon’s from Columbus (CB)….. many, many, many hours watching these things in the 70’s/80’s up and down the flight line!
  14. I’ve flown this multiple times now and I’m having a blast! Possible suggestions: The Supercarrier is great and all, but, I’d rather see TETET’s VWV ships or, at the maximum, the SCB-125 carriers, being used for period correctness. Some added USMC A-4 slots at Andersen, at least for the heavier stores loadouts not compatible with carrier takeoffs. I know, I can make these changes myself (…and have), but others may be interested in them as well. I will not distribute my copy as this is your (excellent) project.
  15. I hope you’re not excluding 3FTW/4503TFS F-5’s used in the SEA conflict? There were over 200 of these used by the USAF in CAS and SpecOps operations throughout Vietnam out of various bases including Ben Hoa and Pleiku AB’s along with the A-37 Dragonflies, not to mention the Skoski Tiger Program. With the recent resurgence in Vietnam interest within DCS, this community needs some love too.
  16. Congrats on the release of this mission! I’m hoping that this will be a shove in the right direction for other great mission builders to explore the Vietnam Era.
  17. What’s the difference between Retribution and Liberation (beyond the obvious)? Can either create a Korean War Campaign?
  18. Would you consider replicating this sandbox as multiplayer on to the Caucasus Map for those who may not have the Persian Gulf map? Would also help introductory users of DCS & FC2024 by providing a good training/PvP arena. Thanks.
  19. I’ll say here that I don’t agree with making an F-86F into an F-86H by making a mod that replaces the 6 .50s for the 4 20mm canons. The F-86H is a completely different aircraft and fuselage when compared to the F-86F in that it was much larger to accommodate not only the canons but also a much larger engine and electronics package. But the time it the F-86H came to active duty in 1954 it was already an obsolete airframe as other aircraft could do much, much better. By 1958 it was dumped into guard service. It would be like sticking a 66 inch chest on a 4-9” girl - looks ok, but fails in execution!
  20. With the release of FC2024 and the F86/MiG15, do you anticipate any changes to the Yalu campaign?
  21. I’m shocked. ED has been putting out Update News for over a week and you guys didn’t realize there would be a patch coming out soon? Again, I’m shocked!
  22. “Our mission briefing was at midnight when we learned we our first squadron would be taking off at 2:00 am with the other two squadrons taking off about 30 minutes later. It was to be our first night takeoff and the first of three combat missions on that historic day. Lining up in flights of four wingtip to wingtip in the pitch black darkness, the sixteen P-51 Mustangs of the 486th Squadron pushed their throttles forward at 2 am and in less than 30 seconds we suffered our first tragedy of D-Day. Lining up in the darkness with no directional visibility, the second flight roared off the big sod field slightly to the right of their intended direction. Seconds later, Lt. Bob Frascotti’s P-51 crashed int the new unfinished control tower being constructed on the high point of the airfield, bursting into flames which lighted the way for the following flights to takeoff. D-Day did not start well for us.“ Bob “Punchy” Powell, 486th FS, 352nd FG
  23. Was any of this included in 2.9? ” Development Report The new multiplayer server user interface adds more convenient ways for you to interact and choose aircraft slots in a multiplayer server. This capability, which has been a highly requested feature by the Community, will permit you to view all aircraft spawn slot locations on the map and to select directly from there. We also added a filter system for the slot list that will be built into the interface. So when a slot is picked from the list, the map view will jump to that slot location. Additionally, we are completing a new kind of aircraft slot that will be dynamically added by the filter system based on the availability and inventory of the airfield warehouse. This new dynamic system will not replace traditional slots but will add convenience for mission designers and will coexist with regular spawn slots. The system of dynamic slots will distribute spawns to parking positions automatically and will not need any additional placement of aircraft from the mission designer. When spawning in a "dynamic" slot, users will be able to choose aircraft type, hot or cold start and all parameters that are available in the rearming panel. We are in regular contact with community server hosts and content creators who are helping us greatly with their excellent feedback.” I looked and couldn’t find any indication of how to access it. Thoughts?
  24. The DCS F-4E Phantom II is slated to release into Early Access Winter 2023/2024. As we approach completion of the project, we will publish a more precise date, and we will keep you informed about the state of development all up to and throughout release.
