  1. They’re not made by the same team so pretty sure that’s a hard “no”.
  2. @zabuzard: kudos to you for your patients.
  3. Ah, ok looked in mission file - its because your wingman are a separate group that are set to follow you.
  4. I couldn't communicate with my wingmen in Mission 1. Might have missed something in the briefing but flicking through different comm presets didn't seem to help.
  5. I had this problem today. Couldn't close the wheel by selecting centre nothing space, so got Jester to do something random and then it closed. Using TrackIR.
  6. Man, stop over reacting people. You know what I'm going to do? Go upstairs and play the game. Crazy huh? You'd think some DCS players passion is just waiting for patches.
  7. Is the reason it won't pass through the boresight line because when the radar missiles is selected, it means the the pinkie switch is physically in the right position so the CAA vertical scan will then be to the right as well? Does this therefore mean that in CAA mode you can't change weapon as moving the pinkie switch will just move the scan cone instead?
  8. The 9P doesn’t uncage. Others I’ve tried do.
  9. Essentially pressing the Cage button activates an acm mode. You can then command the radar to lock anything in the boresight reticule (well actually it’s -9/+45 scan volume) within five miles by pressing the nosewheel/ auto-acquisition button on the base of the stick. To de-activate this acquisition mode toggle the weapon selection knob to ‘b’ (the 6 o’clock position) wait 1 sec, then toggle it back to whatever. Thats more or less it, hope it helps.
  10. Did you set the delivery mode to DT in the bombing table?
  11. Yeah that’s what I expected to see but didn’t. I’ll log in again this ‘avo and check. Cheers Draconus Update: confirmed mission 1 does not allow you skip it if you fail the mission. Reflew and completed successfully. FYI just did Mission 2 and experienced no bugs.
  12. Just played mission 1 of Reforger 2 campaign, got stuck off of taxiway when took left turn to de-arming area too soon. Quit mission thinking "never mind, I'll be able to skip this mission" but when I hit 'end mission' I got a 'campaign failed' message. Not going to re-fly mission 1 again at time soon; is there a way to skip to mission 2?
  13. I find tanking in the Tomcat harder than the hornet because of the offset of the probe in the tomcat feels further to the right. In this way a lack of depth perception makes it harder to judge when I'm lined up correctly. To be fair though, I can't reliably tank well in either yet.
  14. I played this yesterday. Nothing happens and by that I mean, nothing gets triggered. In Tacview I see fighting going on between a patrol and some insurgents but its while I'm starting up. Lots of other units doing 'stuff' but nothing interacts with me. Wingman taxis to runway very slowly, joins up, won't respond to 'attack my target' but will to 'attack targets of opportunity' and change formation. He won't however respond to a RTB command. Sigh.
  15. Same problem. Really annoying.
  16. Installed this evening. Took ten minutes, very easy. Tested with Apache and instantly made take off, hovering and general flight much much easier. Aircraft felt much more stable without the pedals trying to constantly spring back and forth. Then tried P51…same impression. Definitely a massive improvement. A really worth while upgrade.
  17. Update from DPD, expecting my damper kit today. @cow_art thank you for feedback, will follow your advice.
  18. Ordered mine 3rd January, no sign of it yet.
  19. You need something accessible offline. I have limited PC flying time so a manual in the cockpit is useful, but secondary to one accessible outside it.
  20. Decided to give Gazelle a go last night via free trial. Mapped axis, trim and view zoon then flew around Normandy for twenty minutes. Sold. Bought the module this morning. Seemed straight forward enough to fly (compared to Apache, Huey and Hind) and I love the forward visibility.
  21. I like it. Better than before - easier but still hard to spot stuff.
  22. @IronMike could you explain what this change means please?
  23. I lived in central London for 40 years and know the areas in and around lots of the map very well. I took a drive in humvee and the elevation map is way off in the parts of central London in which i drove. For example, there are what look like steep hills between regents park and the west end (which is where Buckingham palace and Trafalgar square is) when in reality it is virtually flat with only a very gradual change in elevation. I wonder if this is due to the granularity of the elevation mesh and how slight changes are hard to create. Also, the scale of some roads feels off in places - they feel about ~20% wider in real life. You certainly can't navigate this rendition of London without the major landmarks they've created. Still, I think it is a great map and very evocative of the era. The handcrafted buildings and buses are particularly brilliant.
