The new VSN F-104 is so much better than the old mod - great work! Thanks! Just one thing: if you include <space> user confirmation after each action the "F-104C Rockets" and "F-104 Cold and dark" actions would be useable as training sessions too. Great to have them with graphics.

The linear throttle is an interesting concept. However I see some red flags due it's design complexity and size. >500mm is a huge thing on your desk or arm rest.

It also does not work with the new DCS patch anymore. As my DCS includes a pretty complete list of terrains and modules I'm guessing there might be an incompatibility with another DCS module added after I used the Hercules the last time.

Speaking for myself I'd always prefer quality over delivery date. I don't like a delivery ontime and endless hotfix patches afterwards. Take your time ED team.

I'm sure significantly reducing the price for the FC3 modul has lowered the bar for beginners. I guess it's the best modul to start with. It helps getting familiar with DCS environment and many user flyable mods use FC3 for avionics. Another hurdle for beginners are the HOTAS bindings. You don't want to spend hours and hours on technical HOTAS issues before you get to fly. I also spend a lot (to much) of time getting them to work with my equipment. I guess there should be more basic level binding setups for all or at least most available HOTAS setups. As a beginner you want to fly asap without the need for endless setup sessions required before. Make the required preparation as short as possible or better make it an auto setup.

Above solution removes MFDs from every view. Is there any way to move/resize MFDs for Alt F1 view only?

Just installed all six of them in saved games\mod\tech but instead of showing up in encylopedia they appear as symbols in the bottom main icon menu. What's wrong?

I just wonder why Nike Hercules doesn't show up anymore in any DCS menu. It did before and it's installed in Saved Games\mods\aircraft as Nike Hercules as required. I don't know what I'm missing here. I deleted previous version and installed it completely new. Same result.

I guess RL navigation mainly uses GPS positioning nowadays due to it's much better precision. Other nav methods are likely to be used for cross checking or fall back only.

2-5 Min erscheint mir aber auch schon relativ viel. DCS läuft bei mir fast im Komplettausbau, sämtliche Karten, viele Module (siehe Signatur), sowie diverse User Flyable Mods, dazu ReShader mit vielen Effekten etc. Ich habe mal gestoppt: 16 Sekunden vom Kaltstart bis zum Loader, dann weitere 120 Sekunden bis zum Hauptmenü. Weitere Neustarts laufen dann schneller. 5 Minuten dauert es jedenfalls nie. DCS inkl. aller Karten und Saved Games habe ich auf SSD, inkl. Win11. Dass sich der Login auf DCS verzögert oder gar nicht funktioniert kommt aber häufiger vor. Auswirkungen auf die Ladedauer hat das bei meinem System aber nicht und einen besonders schnellen Internetzugang habe ich mit 50MBit/s auch nicht.

If the goal is to get more rookie players online why not start a training competition online with ranking awards after completing certain levels. There could be free prep training lessons before too.
