I've set my cursor X/Y axis' each with a curvature of 20-30. That slows down cursor movement for small axis movements but keeps the higher speed for larger axis movements.

I'm also curious how ED will implement to control four engines with a maximum of two throttles. Group them to pairs inner/outer, left/right ... ? Also how to load and unload cargo, troops ect. I'm exited.

Good question, which I asked in the DCS news thread too. @BIGNEWYsuggests to disable all "non official" mods. However may be the CH experts here have different opinions? -
I have no other asset mods than the Currenthill releases. I just would like to understand whether there is a conflict between those and the DCS Currenthill release.

As Currenthill Asset Pack is now integrated - at least partially - into DCS, do I need to deactivate the Currenthill Asset Pack modules which I added seperately before?

I agree from a global perspective. Of course the Cuba 13-day crisis was a major issue in the german press too. However from a german perspective, the 80ies might be worse. At least this was the time when the public got awear of the nuclear threat armament and peace movement got a big boost. Seems like another universe now ... -

I guess at CW peak in the 80ties Europe was full of military bases, baracks, airports, launch ramps, naval, radar stations, hidden bunkers ect. all over, east and west. Including them all, even just the major ones into CW Germany map would blow it up to several hundred GB if not TB and probably too large to handle. -

Most Weapon mods are Core Mods, break IC and don't work well with each other if more than one is installed. That's why I avoid them. -

The manual saved as .jpg has to be saved in folder Saved Games/DCS/Kneeboard/FPV_Drohne to show up with kneeboard command. Other names didn't work. -

Reading all these limitations - I'm surprised that any foreign airforce ever decided to buy the F-104. I live in Germany, where the F-104 was "famous" - or should I say notorious - in the 60ies for it's spectacular crashes and insane sonic booms. They were all substituted with Phantoms which turned out to be way better operable and useable. -
Here are some findings I suggest to complete. Several control bindings ar missing like all right panel lighting knobs and switches Depression Mils reticle controls (hundreds cannot be set to "2" or more) Circuit breakers only partially clickable Most HOTAS bindings not available I don't know if that was ever intended but NS430 support would be great too.

I don't want to blame you. It just wasn't clear for me which links belong together and had to be installed to make it work with latest DCS release. Based on the usual habits in the DCS forum I was searching for the 1st page posts in this thread which turned out for me as a try-and-error with the different possible link combinations. Don't mind - it works now. All is fine.

searching, searching ... finally I found the fix for 2.9.6. It works now. I suggest to keep both links together in the same post. That makes life easier. P.S.: thanks for posting it again.

I am struggeling to find the second link you mentioned. I just downloaded what I found below and loaded .fx files into /Bazar/shaders/model but DCS still crashes (see log file) 2) DCS 2.8 does not need anything else, but In order for the Mod to work on the older DCS 2.7 (and 2.5.6), (EDIT: and also needed on DCS 2.9 and newer) it requires the addition of two small files on the /Program Files/Eagle Dynamics/ path. Digital Combat Simulator Build

Well, for a SIM a monitor can never be too large I play DCS with the 57" version of the Odyssey since Nov 24. Looking now at a normal 27" monitor seems like looking into a narrow tunnel. You get used to a larger monitors pretty quick and if there will be even wider monitors available sometimes I am a potential customer. -
Just loaded the C-101 practice missions and also loaded the required VPC Airfield Equipment Mod. Unfortunaly it CTDs DCS. Hopefully there will be a fix sometimes.
