  1. Sorry for still asking stupid questions . I sometimes get confused when there are announcements of updates which I assumed to already own. I will look for the PTO release. Btw: I am checking DCS shop on a regular base with Not owned activated for my next purchase

  5. Sorry. that's what I meant when wrote regenerating. My campaigns are organized the same way. I have all terrains, almost all modules and majority of paid campaigns. I normally choose the module first and then the terrain and campaign or mission I would like to fly. Therefore I organized everything accordingly.
  6. Well, sort of. I always generate a new directory for a new campaign to store all campaign files in that new directory. However when DCS files are regenerated DCS tends to store all campaign files in the same main campaign directory for that aircraft. As a result DCS detects and displays these campaigns twice and a manual campaign directory cleanup is required. I tried to use a mod manager for this which didn't work. Not a big issue but manual cleanup is required.
  7. Although not recommended by integrity check, but that's what I normally do with all campaigns which are build for a certain aircraft; to put them in their associated Campaigns folder. I prefer the associated campaigns to show up with the selcted aircraft in the campaigns folder.
  8. Not a bug but a request: is there any way of setting MPD size/location in [Alt]+F1 HUD View only? I know how to change general MPD size and location in monitor setup files, but I would like to have the additional MFD displays appear in [Alt]+F1 HUD View only. but not in F1 cockpit view. Thanks.

  12. Well, not absolutely necessary but I thought it might be a handy way to integrate the manual into DCS.
  13. RShift+K kneeboard does not seem to work yet, at least adding the manual as JPGs to Saved Games/DCS/Kneeboard has no effect yet. Will there be any kneeboard support ? btw: the HUD is a great improvement !
  14. The 2TB SSD in my PC was getting a bit crowded with Win11, DCS, lots of apps ect. I added another M2 SSD (WD_BLACK SN850X 8TB with heat sink) and migrated DCS world (approx. 1,2TB in my installation). Saved Games (approx. 166GB) is left untouched on the 2TB SSD. That migration was nothing more than just a simple copy plus renaming some shortcuts and works fine since 3 weeks.

I suggest to focus authentic building simulation on taller buildings and landmarks like bridges, towers, churches, large historic buildings, huge factories as - beneath rivers, mountains ect. - these are the important visual orientation landmarks for VFR. Alied WW2 pilots - without GPS - used them for orientation too.
  16. Just downloaded and installed it. Great Mod ! However, the [A] arming command immedeately detonates the drone. How to start the motors and fly it ? P.S.: ok, got it. Minimum Throttle required to start. Solved. P.P.S.: Waiting for Submod V 1.0 link ...
  17. Did you already try to adjust the axis curvature of your stick? I guess this will fix your issue. I use a VKB Gunfighter Ultimate 4 stick and set the axis tuning for F-16 roll and pitch to 20% (see picture). I have also added 5% center dead zone to avoid triggering when autopilot is activated.
  18. That suggests it might be an issue with the stick hardware or hardware driver and not with the SIM software.
  19. This mission editor Mod Map Goto Town does not exactly do what you want, but at least it provides a clickable list of cities, towns and villages when bullseye is clicked. May be that helps when preparing missions. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/de/files/3345127
  20. I don't want to be more specific, but there are some political developments IRL that might make updating Sinai, Persian Gulf, Iran, Kola even Caucasus interesting. I hope we don't need a CW Germany II map somedays.

  23. Looking at your axis tune panel it seems that the axis at your stick is not a physical slider as it's default position is already at 50%. That would explain the behaviour you described. If it's a physical slider the default must be at 0% (or at 100% if it's inverted).
