F-22 destroys the Su-27 in super maneuverbility
TucksonSonny replied to VVanks's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Too bad that the Navy (read US government) did not do further development for the JTIDS datalink system (aim-54), because of too expensive and because of stealth with short-range tactics. -

Anyway, you don’t need manoeuvrability and stealth to get Bin Laden. (Of course this man was also trained by the CIA ;) ) -
What's your video card and CPU?
TucksonSonny replied to leafer's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
I do realise now that my PC is already 3 years old (2 years ago FX-57 was the fastest single core on the planet) Today there is only 1 good option: go Core 2 Extreme X6800 together with the fastest vid (quad/crossf. or 2xSLI) and a Cougar of course ;) (anyway if your wife/mother let you burn the cash :D ). -
OT: F-35 Lighting II engine roars to life

No, but think about how much raptors you could kill with a Mig 1.42 in 100 hours. :D TWO three-dimensional thrust-vectoring Saturn/Lyulka AL-41F turbofans rated at 44,100 lb of thrust each in afterburner. -

I can imagine that it is cheaper to make the F-135 in Canada. :D BTW, my sister her husband has family in Canada. -

Last time I checked you were Canadian so I guess “ours” is not going to work for you either. ;) -

Last time I checked it was the Saturn/Lyulka AL-41F turbofans rated at 44,100 lb of thrust in afterburner. (BTW, test with the Saturn/Lyulka AL-41F was done years ago on a Mig-25) http://www.globalaircraft.org/planes/mig-142.pl -

Multiple target engagement
TucksonSonny replied to Poopskadoop's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Why would you fire a short range forget missile before a long range ER? On top of that you can’t put the enemy in defense with that ET because he even doesn’t know it was fired at him. -
Multiple target engagement
TucksonSonny replied to Poopskadoop's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
…far worse than the AIM-54C ? And the AIM-54C was already that worse (the only kill(s) in RL-war were not even made by the NAVY:D ) This is in big contrast with the lomac AIM-54C, anyway. -
Not always true. Last weekend I came back from a couple of weeks off from lomac (Lately my bandwidth was used too much on films and fow-online) and I forgot some details of my f-pole technique. Because I forgot my timings I was trying with new (other) timings and it turned out that I now have found better timings between launching the RE’s and the ET and different f-poling technique too (I keep these timings secret anyway) It turns out that ET in the end scores 1:1 each time over and over (using the edge of the radar limit later too). I managed even 1 Su-27 on 2 F-15C difficult AI kills. BTW, Online I use 2 accounts (in the first one I take too many risks and go for the kill and the fun which results in bad kill ratio, with the other account I play on safety and keep the positive 2+ kill ratio:D ).

Not only is the canopy jammed sometimes but on occasion the landing-gear too... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ozUOHC242rM

Back on topic: Eurofighter-Typhoon Want to buy the currently unmatched missile ? And you own a Eurofighter-Typhoon, Rafale or a Gripen aircraft? Click here: http://www.bayernchemie-protac.com/meteor.htm The company is holding also a world-record with firing of a hypersonic missile surpassing Mach 7.0 Click here: http://www.bayernchemie-protac.com/news_missile_above_mach_7.htm Do you own a raptor? Nothing to see here, to big to fit in anyway…:book: -

In English, even a monkey can win this war in the F-22. I think I get your point now. Thanks mate, -

And the 1000 Su-27's would have of course NO support of Mig-29 and other supporting fighters/support aircrafts (even not mention the home advantage). Now we have already 20 to 1 kill ratio? (2000 Su-27 kills?) Whatever :D -

Remember your famous 100 raptors killing 1000 Su-27’s thread remark. That is what I call ridicule ( (trop=too much=te veel) even GG agreed on that one). Your ridicules calculation most likely: 100 raptors having 600x 120D + 400xAIM9x = 1000 Su-27 kills! :gun_sniper: -

Of course I respect your opinion about this film. For me too it is of course a ridiculous film but a promotion film is supposed to be like that otherwise it would be kind of a boring promotion film. (Imagine for a second a promotion film on cars that is not ridiculous) -

Talking only with the most beautiful woman and ignore completely the other woman who is together with her is like having no respect for the other. Anyway it was wrong of me to make fun of some of the “F22” adorers who ridicule about everything that comes into every discussion where the Almighty Raptor was discussed (the f-22 pwn all and pissing on everything except the raptor threads). It was also wrong of me to suggest that there was a relation of Americans and these f-22 pwn everything thread bashers. BTW, the F-16 is my all time favorable aircraft. The lack of respect for Russian military hardware is also regrettable, indeed even on a .RU domain forum. -
