  1. Sorry but you won't get your buggy HUD back because this is correct modeling of the HUD for a 3D cockpit the MiG-29 got recently. What you can do is just stop setting TrackIR axis to lean forward and use it for zoom instead.
  2. Why worry about your wife... you can always divorce her when she gets in the way :D
  3. This is not a bug, The HUD is being projected into "infinity" and does not change in size when you move forward (not zoom in, but actually lean in towards HUD).
  4. They are not unused, you viewed them already, remember? So each 3D model viewed in Encyclopedia will use some memory, until the application is closed. And second, the massive memory usage I see in testers version has nothing to do with viewing objects in Encyclopedia as this is what I see when I am in mission.
  5. I use TrackIR for many years now, its somewhat expensive but works very good, out of the box with not so much needing to set it up (only need to make your own profile) and that's what I like about it, so I kind of agree with you. If someone can make another (as good as or better) product to give same easy setup, looks etc, why not... but I agree with you, should not give so much bad comments about TrackIR. After all it works good and lasts many years.
  6. What? If you keep watching more and more objects then naturally all of them should be added into memory and it would make sense for memory usage to go up, but this has nothing to do with memory leak, so please don't make comments like this as its not helpful.
  7. I have massive memory leak on my end but only in Tester version of DCS (which I think was "introduces only recently as I didn't see it happen before like this) which I have reported. 1.5.2 for me doesn't seem to have a memory leak.
  8. No crash for me either. I have tried in MP and SP and both times when I select P-51D (set as Client, cold start) there is no crash.
  9. Thank you guys. SimShaker software is pretty awesome and keeps getting better. Wish you guys happy 2016.
  10. Any EM waves are not good for you. I am no DR but unlike a mobile phone which you'd normally use for few minutes at most, wearing wireless device on your head for hours every day, would be too much exposure I think.
  11. I had a quick try of the clean textures in cockpit, and I feel they are kind off too clean (I know, they are supposed to be like that), so I personally still prefer to see some weathering on them.
  12. This is normal. It is horizontal FoV that is not changed. If you want to see wider, increase the FoV.
  13. Well when you work for weeks/months on a module and want to advertise it, you give it away for free :music_whistling:
  14. Air-Air missiles should not be falling off. Only Air-Ground ordnance should (as coded by Leatherneck). I am not sure about fuel tanks, I think they should not be falling off either.
  15. Happy Birthday from me also :)
  16. ED have separated the 2 (cockpit and HUD language). On contrary, I think the option is quite intuitive and easy to see what it does.
  17. Whichever country, had its people vote for anyone... it was their right. Same as you and people in your country had the right to do the same. So for government of another country to want to take out someone that was voted by its own people, is not just at all, and those governments that did or want to do this, have absolutely no right to do so. Now please lets leave it at this (you've said your side, and I've said mine, continuing any further will just get more political... I think this is political enough already)
  18. I know I should leave the politics aside (due to forum rules which we should respect and obey) but I also come from a country that was in a war for few years... I know what it's like (luckily, not first hand as I left the country little before it got messy) and it just hurts me to see so much injustice in the world... and I will leave it at that.
  19. I am going to say something which I am sure is not going to be popular (but by me saying this, does not mean I don't feel sorry for the victims) Just as a one example of real tragedies: this is what Middle East goes through every day...
  20. Gotta love these jet engines :)
  21. Nice one!
  22. That would be quite strange indeed... if they presented the luggage... it would mean the two people would have to be booked in into the passenger's list, so when entering the plane, wouldn't they be checking if everyone got in, and they would do this by checking who's on the boarding list and who past the last check-in counter to get onto the plane? I would think they would have to check/look for them... probably even find it suspicious? hmm
  23. Surely someone that speaks Arabic will know what it means, I would like to know also.
  24. I don't believe anything any more just because someone has said something... they can say anything, and past has shown that what's been said, many times has been a lie. Wars have been started because someone said something... which turned out to be a big fat lie.... so much for "someone said". Instead of listening what someone has said, be observant and use your own brain to draw conclusions.
