  1. Ah, I am so sorry, I didn't even notice the Demo Mode in Sound Module :( I sent email for the key I updated it in Trunk also The crash was in F-15C module (in Trunk install). Not sure where I can get full error message (I could not increase window size to get all the text. EDIT: I have Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.2 installed on my system so that looks to meet the SimShaker requirements
  2. Hi Andrey I tried the new version of the SimShaker and on my end it doesn't play nicely either The SimShaker.lua is automatically updated, but in Public DCS I get ground bumps only and don't get any other effects (Visualisation bar only shows activity for ground bumps, nothing else) In Trunk though as soon as I try rolling on runway and get the first ground shake effect, SimShaker crashes with some Microsoft .NET Framework error (screenshot attached)
  3. erm, I think something is wrong with windows setup for the monitors because I see monitors are identified as 2 and 3... so where is monitor 1? I think you should see 1 and 2 and not 2 and 3.
  4. I set this in ... Saved Games/DCS/Config/View/SnapViews.lua file, which I copy from DCS main install (original file is called SnapViewsDefault.lua and I just rename it and change my FoV values for all aircraft)
  5. The 50" 4K TV I use now is right about arm-length from me, I have in game 80° as my in game FoV for all aircraft. It seems pretty close to 1:1 and everything looks good and readable. Downside is... its not a cheap TV and needs also expensive graphics card to run all the pixels.
  6. It all depends how far you sit from the screen. Double the distance from the eye and you need double the screen size to get the same FoV.
  7. Good luck boys :) Looking forward to the Gazelle
  8. I want to say, I really like the auto-start feature now. The SimShaker Starter can be set to auto-start with Windows (or if you like you can start it manually), and once started, when you start DCS the SimShaker Module and Sound Module start automatically, and close automatically when you exit DCS  All great! What I get though is, once started automatically, the Sound Module GUI pops up on Desktop (and SimShaker Module doesn't - it stays minimized). Could you make Sound Module also stay minimized and not pop up on Desktop?
  9. Yes, afterburner is smoother than airbrake.
  10. Andrey, one more suggestion from me: The air brake sound is currently somewhat intermittent, I think the effect for this could be more smooth/even?
  11. hm... 1) would be better I think - to clip amplitude
  12. I notice the same thing, when only 1 shake effect is working, its can be set to have right amount of volume/shake. But the moment another sound is played for another shake effect, it becomes to strong. I think this is because amplitudes are added on top of each other. I would like if this can be changed so that sound volumes of 2 or more sound files are not added to increase their volume. I think this can be achieved if sound files played are of different frequencies and phase so that they are not coherent?
  13. The one that is part of the Buttkicker LFE Kit, like this one here http://www.selby.com.au/buttkicker-lfe-kit-for-next-level-racing-simulator-cockpit-by-pagnian-imports.html?gclid=Cj0KEQjw27etBRDA3-ux4p3c58EBEiQAkJzTAEz1bAV-xj2y8hDg8nFlQVffXuU9cLzoDFyLdjOfb04aApe-8P8HAQ
  14. noooo, people would never do anything bad, especially not for money? ... how could they? :music_whistling:
  15. I do have high freq cut-over switch turned on and its set at 50Hz (range is 40Hz-110Hz). What should I set it at?
  16. Personally, I would increase it a bit more :) On another note, as when firing the gun shake is very strong, I have reduced that effect to 10% and testing it at that level is ok now, but on some occasion the shake is much stronger than normal. I have a feeling that there is some bug where volume of effect is increased by adding volume of another effect, for example, if afterburner is on, and I fire the gun, sometimes (not always though) the gun shake is too strong. I wonder if anyone encountered this?
  17. both are too small :) Go large size TV instead (4K if you can afford it)
  18. There is something funny going on with Afterburner shake effect. I turned up my Buttkicker amp to 1/2 way... hopped in MiG-21Bis and I just noticed that when my air brakes are open, the shake is different when afterburner is on or off. With afterburner on shake is bit stronger, with them open I can feel if I have afterburner on or off, but without air brakes, with afterburner the shake is barely noticeable.
  19. I have a question for buttkicker users, do you get shake in afterburner in MiG-21Bis at your normal amplifier levels? For me I have to turn my buttkicker amp to 1/2 way to just feel the shake from afterburner even with slider moved all the way to 100%. I can ask Andrey to increase the volume for the afterburner shake but wonder if that will be too much for the rest of you?
  20. Nice post Busic... I'm some 10 years here also :) Time flies @ Leafer:
  21. I would like to add my opinions about these rudder pedals... and it will be very short: This is a really well engineered piece of equipment. They are very accurate, stable, no wobble at all. They are really well made and I am glad I got them. Milan, thanks
  22. I quite like this landscape textures mod  Everything looks very natural and detailed, and I like the new trees. Need to try this out.
  23. 4th gen or 5th gen doesn't matter... TV on any jet of any generation will make a difference (physics doesn't pick type of generation, it works the same for all air frames) No you don't always get ideal conditions... but saying a jet is useless based on very non-ideal conditions which is not even how the jet was designed to be used is, plain and simple, one sided and not the real truth. And when such statements are thrown around and people read it... they come up with conclusions which are not correct... in another words, they make you believe what they want you to believe. I think anyone with decent knowledge and interest in aviation should already know that MiG-29 was not designed to fight BVR like the American planes... that is no secret... and what is left out (intentionally) is that those same American planes are not to get in close combat with that same MiG-29... which is the OTHER part of the missed story.
