I was just checking my account and notice it had 0$ and thought, what the hell? Found this thread and now I see what's going on... not good move by ED in my opinion... I also never noticed that bonus had to be use by certain date... I mean why make such limitation in the first place? I am also one of guys that own everything, even though I don't fly everything (some modules bought just to support ED) and I was glad to hear ED appreciates such loyalty and wants to reward us in some way... but as it turned out, it wasn't that good at all. I think the loyal customers are not beneficial from this at all. EDIT: by the way, where exactly does it note the date deadline for the bonus? I checked original post by Wags on the new bonus system (http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=120893) and there is no mention of any deadline... what have I missed?

I am not sure if this is still ongoing production as I can't see the online shop working any more, I have purchased the gimbals long time ago and only fey days ago actually got to finally use it (one spring broke in my IJ's gimbals - again, so I thought I finally give this gimbal a try and finally make my HOTAS Cougar a floor mounted stick). I've had some problems to solve along the way because of non-standard installation, and one of them was that springs are quite week for a heavy metal HOTAS Cougar. The gimbals mechanism is really good I must say, there is absolutely 0 play... it is quite solid and I recon it will last a lifetime. I ended up placing the HOTAS Cougar PCB in the enclosure, took out the 4 springs completely and the plastic piece that connects the springs to the shaft. I attached new 4 pieces of 2Kg springs I bough in hardware store and attached them externally (using before purchased 3D printed piece from Flim see here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1820860&postcount=1)... they work very well and are strong enough to hold the heavy Cougar stick on long extension. Overall I really like the gimbals, and hall sensors are easy to fix and connect (just use hot glue to attach them to plastic holders).

I wasn't expecting the June release would come true and that's alright... being ED tester I can see how slooooooooooooooooooow sometimes some things get... in the end I know MiG-21 will be released when everything is ready and not a day earlier and we all have to accept that.... so I just keep staying in line and keep waiting for store door to open :D

alright, so windows desktop is already extended to secondary monitor? If so make sure you run windowed mode when using secondary monitors and exporting MFCD's to them. You can find lot of threads about how to set them up in game, please try the search function... once you have the guides follow all the steps in how to set it up, make sure you haven't missed something. When you check in Control Panel > Hardware & Sound > Display > Adjust Resolution Do you see second monitor grayed out? If it is it means it Disconnected in Windows, so all you have to do is where it says Disconnect this display in drop-down options, change this to Extend desktop to this display. Once you have them both showing desktop image, you're good to go

Looks good work in the pit... I would make more details into external 3D model... looks like nice trainer aircraft, I would like if someone would do Yugoslavian G2 Galeb and/or G4 Super Galeb. :) So good luck with this project!

I'll second that... EDGE is indeed looking to be released with 1.3.0 EDGE is already in Testers build (with bugs of course) and WIP but it is getting there, so relax, its definitely not a pipe-dream :)

Still no fix from ED about this, I have reported it back in 2012 (Bug #21680) but there's been no progress at all. You can do what PeterP sugested and use SoftTH as workaround.

I think DevKits should only be worse looking.... functionality and specs shoyld not be different from actual final product. In order to release final product they must first have tested it (actual hardware) and it wont be as good looking as final product (fact is most people still want a cool looking gadget). So if this test kit is not good enough, it wont matter if final product is cool looking. But in the end unless eventually I try one myself I can never know for sure... time will tell, but now I am sceptical

Well unless he has little bit bad vision, I take his comment as what I would see (or not see) if I tried one. There's been too many disappointments and I wouldn't be surprised if this was just another one of that list.

Thanks for the links, I am no longer looking forward to this OR... if you can't read instruments and text, it is useless for DCS... at least the guy was honest enough about his experience with it in DCS.

My 2 cents: CPU is good (do overclock it, doesn't have to be extreme but do, do it :) ) 16GB of RAM is not anything you will need (I use about 1/2 of that when I fly, and I have 16GB also... it's not too expensive so its no big deal, just don't need to go for ultra expensive RAM, medium priced will do, you really won't see ANY difference in game). Video card, get as fast as you can... it will always be beneficial, just don't get dual GPU combo, DCS is not good with it (maybe EDGE will change this, if it does, you can always get second card or new one) Solid performance motherboard, and good for overclocking. What I look for in motherboard is all ports I will use, and as we need lot of USB peripherals, I like it to have lot of rear USB ports... and I like stability, and ASUS boards are so far like that. Last word... make sure you get SSD for OS and games... you WILL benefit from lot faster loading times and faster loading OS... opening/closing programs... it just IS worth it.

I'll buy it again anyway... I just want the DVD and T-shirt :)

you are better off running both monitors off the same video card.

I tried exporting only the radar in F-15C and Su-27... that's it... but as things just don't work properly I got the shits and just took the secondary card out, disconnected the extra 2 monitors and then sadly when I tried setting up everything back with 4 monitors on single card, something happened while I was enabling eyefinity... monitors would just never turn on and machine would keep crashing and rebooting... eventually I just couldn't be f***ed any more trying to sort it out, I went all out and reinstalled Windows... now I am in process of setting up everything back... what a pain I think I will never again try to use 2 video cards, just too much trouble and issues... I so hope Oculus Rift lives up to expectations... if it does I will finally ditch these multi-monitors... just too much trouble
