Updated the 104th Server to this revision, so far so good! I will post if anything goes wrong. Thanks Grimes, great work sir!

Yeah we have the same problem Grimes (Spammed chat message about kicking) I think it happens when the script tries to kicks the client before the client has actually fully loaded in to the server. This leaves the client in a sort of limbo and they are just stuck on the loading screen and the "104th_Maverick is getting kicked for high ping" messages just repeats over and over again until they End DCS process in Task Manager. I've also noticed that if a client gets kicked for a high ping by the script, if he rejoins straight away and loads in quickly enough he seems to bypass the ping check and can then stay in the server until manually removed by an admin. Apart from these issues the script has been working great and is hugely appreciated by our server team, it really is helping keep stability to a maximum, thanks for the effort that went in to it!

I don't want to start doing this, it's still early days and I want to see how it matures with player numbers in an open server. I'm reluctant to start bolting more scripts on to the mission, the stability has been great. I also don't want to make a 'copy' of Blue Flag, those guys have worked incredibly hard to bring the community that server, I really don't want to start walking down the road of using all the features they do. I think there is room enough in the community to have both servers operate differently with unique features over the other and still have enough MP clients to go around. What I want people to realise as soon as possible that this mission is not always going to be 50 / 50 in terms of team balance, in fact its almost NEVER going to be 50 / 50. Clients should fly depending on the situation they are in, sometimes you are on the defensive sometimes you can branch out and attack, but at no times should you expect to join the server and fly in a 'fair' fight. Every man and his dog almost has this problem, we have no idea why it happens, the ED team are aware of it so we are hoping for a fix further down the line. Messing around with pressing Lalt+enter once or twice before joining the server has yielded good results for some clients. -

Updated post #2 with fixes / updates. -Blue Helicopters unable to spawn at FARP Gali when captured - Fixed -Blue not able to load crates / troops at captured Red FARPS - Fixed -Changed ground unit set up at FARP Gali for both sides to make capturing the FARP more difficult (added more armour). -Added extra helicopters to Senaki for Blue and Gudauta for Red. -Set new weapon restrictions, Aim120C is now the only restricted weapon, all others are available. THE AIM120B IS ONLY AVAILABLE FROM TBILISI AND KUTAISI! -

It is not a persistent campaign sir, the mission restarts back to the beginning when the server relaunches. The good news is we have ran the mission three times for over 17 hours so far. We are going to be having back up copies in case of a server crash where Blue start with Kutaisi and Red start with Sochi. We are also planning on doing 'event style' mission starts at the weekends, we would announce a mission start time and try to get as many people on board as possible and on comms and run it like a mini campaign for 12-17hours+. The server is OPEN sir and can be joined at anytime, sign up is not required. Thank you, it took a long time to design and a disgusting amount of time and effort to build. I'm really hoping as more people play it and become familiar with how the mission works that it will get even more intense! Just now a lot of people are still not reading the brief or on comms so there are loads of teamkills and lost little lambs at this stage but I am hoping that will change as the days / weeks go by. -

Post #2 updated with mission upgrades... -JTAC's on station at priority Airbases from mission start, Kutaisi for Blue and Sochi for Red. -JTAC's will no laser high priority targets (SAMS) before low priority units. -FARP Co-ordinates, grids and freqs added to the brief-Added extra helicopters to Senaki for Blue and Gudauta for Red. -Added client welcome messages when aircraft spawn at home base. -Added Admiral Kuznetsov battle group for Red -Set new weapon restrictions, Aim120C is now the only restricted weapon, all others are available. -Added respawn triggers for both sides tankers if they RTB or get shot down. -

It's supposed to :) We allowed the R-77 for little Miggy from the first round testing. Later today we are going to test Amraam B vs R-27ER, R-27ET & R-77 with the Kuznetsov also included. -

Yes. Sadly not unless you are in an aircraft that can turn the freq volume down. This shouldn't affect the SRS channel volume. The mission currently starts at 05:30 AM for a nice sunrise mission go :) -

Its a bug, you are supposed to be able to load crates and troops from capturable FARPS but we're having issues getting it to work. Will hopefully have a solution for tomorrow. -

This would have been due to a client spawning a FOB on the Airbase. The guy kills more people than malaria in that thing! Make sure you keep up to date with posts #1 and #2, I am updating them as and when changes, fixes or updates are applied. No. Not yet. It is set to restart and is not persistant. We are still testing to see what that run time will be, at the time of posting this message the server has been running for 16 HOURS with high client traffic all day so signs are looking very good to be able to run 12 or 24 hour mission run times. No they should be set on Excellent be but I will look in to that and check it out tonight. -

At present we have no plans to export data to a live external map. We ask clients at this time to use the F-10 map to find out what is going on in the mission. While not as glamorous as a web map it does the job very well, clients simply need to click on an airbase and they can view its status in terms of being Neutral, Blue or Red. Another consequence albeit possibly a good one of us not having a web map is clients are forced to communicate with pilots already in the mission for a sitrep. If you are unable to get an update you can always open the F-10 map and check the status of an airbase. If it is Friendly you will be able to spawn at that airbase if all the enemy units around it are cleared out. If it is a neutral or enemy airbase that means there are still enemy units in the vicinity that need to be dealt with. .... Like I said, not as glamorous as a web map but still an effective way of keeping track of what is going on. The plan long term is to phase our existing missions out with this mission and different variations of it. So when a new mission starts it will have a different base set up at the beginning of the mission. Sometimes Red will have Sochi from the go and Blue will still be at Tbilisi or others Blue starts with Kutaisi and Red with Sukhumi and so on. There is actually a lot of variations we can do with that method to come up with lots of different scenarios for clients to deal with. This gives is the ability to make lots of different missions out of the same mission template which we hope to take advantage of if testing goes well. So far its looking good. On its first run it ran for over 8 hours with high client capacity, no lag or warping, so we are looking at the potential of running the missions in 12 hour sequences. Good times ahead, hopefully! -

Please read this notice on post#2 - https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3361308&postcount=2 ;) All aircraft that spawn at capturable bases start with no fuel. This is to stop clients from respawning and getting in to the air too quickly when the base is under attack. If a client is killed defending an airbase and the enemy are moving in to capture it, he cannot simply just quickly respawn and get in the air to start shooting again. Aircraft that start at Home Bases all start with 100% fuel. All aircraft that start with the Number 1 are Home Base Aircraft eg. 1 Maykop Mig29S A1 All aircraft that start with the Number 2 are Capturable Base Aircraft eg. 2R Sochi Maykop Mig29S A1. These aircraft only spawn once your coalition has captured the base and cleared the enemy from around it. This feature will not be changed. -

Mission Bug Board created on 2nd post, I will do my best to update these as we go along, thanks for your patience in these early days! This is a big step for us so there are going to be a lot of small problems to work out as we go forward, but hopefully we'll get them ironed out as soon as possible! This is not a bug sir, please read the mission briefing. All aircraft have the same waypoint set up, so the first waypoint for all aircraft in the mission is Bullseye, the waypoints then go in a sequence along the Target Airbases, it tells you what sequence this is in the mission brief. You are not able to load weapons on the ground sir until you fly over and land on the FARP, this is intentional. This way you never have to worry about another aircraft spawning in on your helipad while you are rearming or refuelling at a FARP you did not spawn at. -

Thanks for the feedback guys, anything else that you spot that isnt correct please let me know and we can get it fixed. You can only spawn at Phoenix when your coalition captures Kutaisi sir, I will make that more clear in document somewhere. Thanks for letting me know about the other issues! -

No one from the 104th is claiming that this is a fair 50 / 50 fight or a realistic depiction of how a modern air battle would go. Both sides have advantages over the other in different areas!
