  1. Mission fixes and updates for today... post#2 updated. Fixes -Another AWACS spawns under certain shoot down conditions - Fixed -The first IL76 to Sukhumi dies right after spawn - Fixed -Blue tankers spawn immediately after one is shot down - Fixed -Red helicopters can spawn at Gali FARP when it has been captured by Blue - Fixed Updates -Added KC135 Tanker for A-10 usage, callsign ARCO. -Added additional units to Red Assault Battery Groups at Kutaisi, Senaki and Kobuleti.

  3. Rebooting server now. We have found that if we launch the mission in Single Player on our dedicated machine before hosting it that the server launches much faster and clients seem to be getting in to the server a lot quicker. The downside of us doing this is it makes our auto restart script a bit useless, so until ED fix the memory usage issue it looks like we are on manual server restarts for a little while, so with that in mind we probably will have some server down time over the coming weeks.

  6. C'mon son..... from post #1 Will need to know the name so I can get it moved :) There are no plans to allow the KA-50 to do anything other than CAS in the mission . Yes.... great idea! I will make these changes today as well as the fix for the issue at Sukhumi airbase for the mission tonight at 19:00z
  7. Yes, I will add this later today. Mission ran for just over 10 hours before it crashed tonight! While not perfect it's a long way from the 4 hour missions we used to run. Hopefully tonight's 19:00 zulu mission will run a bit longer!
  8. I just nearly finished typing a detailed reply on how the trigger system works, but it started to get out of hand :D Short story = I know what caused this and will work on a fix for tomorrow at some point.

  10. SERVER WEEKEND RESTARTS AT 19:00 ZULU We are planning to do event style starts this weekend chaps! The server will be restarted at 19:00 zulu tonight, Saturday and Sunday night. The server will be open to all, please GET ON SRS! There is no excuse now guys, get with the programme and get it installed, it really adds a whole new level of immersion flying in the server! We are aware of the server instability however we are not too concerned at this stage. We'd politely like to remind everyone that we are less than one week in to one of the biggest updates in DCS history and as a result there will be some stability issues to deal with. Thank you for understanding!
  11. This is a known bug and has been reported. F-15Cs and A-10s can no longer top up the external tanks from the tanker, only the internal tanks will be filled until this bug is fixed.

  13. Thanks man! Looking forward to having you guys on board for a sortie! As Shadow mentioned, to stop people stacking assets where they take off from you have to fly away. The distance is approx 3-4nm. Yes this is intentional sir. As HiJack mentioned there are restricted weapons in this mission for the sake of mission stability. I have given you weapons I think are appropriate for the task in hand and what could be flown out here from the USA (roleplay). Until further notice FOBs have been disabled, but what you were able to do was build a FOB using crates. Once the FOB has been created helicopters can load troops and crates from the FOB. We are testing server stability with having them removed for a while

  15. Yeah he is getting a little excited. ED said they have 'plans' for a Dedicated Server, that doesn't mean anything other than they 'plan' to introduce it one day. They never said when, They never said how, They just said they plan to do it. @Drexx While I admire your enthusiasm I'm afraid your facts are a little misplaced. SP totally blows MP out of the water in DCS. The difference is astronomical between the amount of people that fly online vs the amount of people that play DCS in SP. You shouldn't take too much from the poll that was conducted on the forum, the vast majority of DCS users have no account on the forums so it's not an accurate way of gauging how the community is set up. DCS MP has a big future, especially with all the community content creators, but it will be something that has to be grown over time. We have already come a long way since the first days of DCS with FC3 introduced. This time in 5 years I am sure the MP scene will be transformed and hopefully will be more akin to other popular online games such as Arma3 etc in terms of the number of clients actually playing it.
  16. We've been flying for so long we can tell who it is we are fighting against just by the way they are flying their aircraft. ;) If its a Mirage..... going mach 2+ ... coming at you from 50,000ft+ ... it's MicroVAX :)

  18. Wont happen. We need to be able to talk to people outside of the server which is why we want people to use both. Just mute your mic / sound on teamspeak. This way if you need an admin or an admin needs to contact you its easy to just send a message. Our admins are not always in the DCS server but they are online on teamspeak... complaining on SRS in game that there is an issue with the mission or another client is not going to do you any good if there is no admin on SRS.

  20. No its now fixed and bug board updated on post #2 thanks! I have no idea why they wouldn't shoot, they are spawned in via the CTLD script so they have no restrictions set to their behaviour, please keep an eye on this for me and see if it changes. I will mention it to the developer. This does work, I have seen it in testing and seen screenshots from other users (see pic below) I will look in to it further and see if its an issue with a second or third capture of the airbase. All target airfields can be captured more than once so it may be a trigger error further along the sequence. Thanks, we are over the moon with how well it runs! This is very confusing I know, but it only takes 3 small crates to build a FOB despite what that message says, I will take a look at the script to see if I can edit that message. Today's fixes... post #2 updated. -Red are not able to load crates at any FARPS. - Fixed -Red Tankers fly to fast - Fixed Updates -Moved the Admiral Kuznetsov Battle Group closer to Bullseye. -Set despawn triggers for priority airfield JTACs when airfields are captured (Banjo 11 and Venom 11).
  21. What map are you looking at? All the FARPS on the map in post #1 are in the mission and are called exactly what they are called on the map.
  22. Will take a look at these issues in the morning guys and get them fixed hopefully for tomorrow afternoons server restart. Keep the bug reports coming!
