    Laser

As Cap'n says, if it says LST in the HUD and on the RMFD in the top left corner as long as you have the right laser code set it should work. Im actually working on a video doing this right now, check you're in the right mode by verifying LST displayed, if you're still having trouble I should have this video done in a couple of hours and hopefully that will help out.

Are you starting in the air? If you are starting on the ground you need to make sure you have the DMT switch behind the flight stick (next to where you set NAV mode on the dial) in the UP position or you will not be able to lock the laser even if you have the right code dialled in. With the switch in the up position LST works just fine using the DMT.
  6. 104th Festive Furball 2017 Saturday 6th of January, 18:00z Keeping up the tradition all be it a little late this time around we will be hosting our annual Festive Furball on 6th of January. The Festive Furball is a guns only event featuring aircraft from all eras who go head to head with air starts separated by just 10nm from the enemy! The event will last for around 2 hours starting around 18:00z, teams will be selected at random for each round, once one round has ended the server will be restarted for the next round. Aircraft available will be ... F-15C SU27 Mig 29 SU33 Mirage 2000 Mig 21 F5 Sabre Mig 15 AV-8B AJS-37 The aim is to create as much chaos as possible with a large furball and survive! All aircraft will start within 10nm of each other charging head on in to battle at 500mph line abreast with other friendly aircraft! To take part simply post in this thread with the aircraft you would like to fly and turn up ready to go on the 104th Teamspeak Server by 17:30z on Saturday. 7. Thanks man it went really well! The comms were a little bit of a hurdle but all in all I think they worked out great. The consensus was that users who newly installed the mod were not prepared very well in terms if their volume being too loud and also not being able to hear other people very well. But people who set it up were ok. I actually mentioned in the debrief that I would reach out to you about SRS so it's great to see you checking in thanks mate! While I appreciate the answer is simple, it needs to be set up before use, we wondered if there was anyway to make the set up of the volumes a little easier for new users. We've committed to using it in all our events next year come hell or high water so our community will gradually see it as the norm when flying in these events. We're also going to make more of a push for its use on our Dedicated Server on a daily basis as its been live for a long time but doesn't have the usage that other servers do, that's something we hope to change next year.
  8. Thanks for taking part guys, full stream replay is available below We are hard working on the scores and will post the results as soon as we can. Have a great new year guys, thanks for your support this year, we'll see you in 2018 for some more epic PvP action!
  9. Roster updated in second post! The event is planned to be hosted on 1.5.8.12823.414
  10. We now have Reaper UAVs Laser Designating targets in the AO during the day and night times! Once all SA15 SAMS are taken out in the TA the Reapers will be rolling in to provide lasers and IR Pointers. In future we will be looking to have these assets activated by completing deep strike objectives or something similar but for now taking out the enemy Tor systems will activate the Reapers at the current AO. For now the Laser Code will be left at 1688 while we test the asset. Huge thanks to Ciribob for his fantastic Autolase Script :thumbup:https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=141297 Currently only available for Blue coalition
  11. Got it working!
  12. Do you mind attaching your mission for me to have a quick look at Zarma? Edit: And also can you confirm that you are doing this with the Harrier as a client?
  13. Trying this out on the 104th server, so far we have got the Reaper to designate targets with the laser and IR pointer. It works perfectly well in single player but as a client in 1.5.8.12667 (Release) the Laser doesn't work. The IR Sparkle comes on but you cannot find the laser in LST (Harrier) and weapons will not lock it when dropped on the correct set code of 1688. Can anyone else get this to work as a client online?
  14. Thanks mate, and you. You did the RAF Air UK proud, was great to have you on board, hopefully see more of you guys next year!
  15. Flaps will now start to retract from 5 degrees at mach 0.88, they will retract to show 0 degrees by mach 0.95 in AUTO mode and will return to 5 degrees by mach 0.88 CRUISE mode flaps will remain at 5 degrees regardless of airspeed.
  16. From United States Marine Corps AV-8B Flight Syllabus Guide From the United States Navy AV-8B Flight Manual The nose is slightly up in the Hover Stop position at Hover, 8 Degrees below the waterline would give you a lot of forward momentum.
  17. This is the problem sir, go back up and try again and press weapon release. You don't need to COOL zuni rockets.
  18. The radios are a little funky at the moment the presets in the mission editor are swapped around so the best method is to use Easy Comms or to set the Tanker on one of the swapped preset channels on the Harrier. So all the frequencies you see in the Mission editor for Comm1 are actually the frequencies for Comm2 and vice-versa. The frequency you used 131.0 is channel 13 on the Harrier currently, if you tune that you should get in touch with him as long as you have set the tanker channel to 131.0 I've attached this training mission in the Caucasus map that also starts in the air from behind the tanker. The tanker callsign is SHELL and is on frequency 133.0, channel 1 in the Harrier. Cross check this mission with the one you have set up and you should hopefully be able to find out where the problem was. Labels are on (Lshift+F10 to turn off) Tanker starts in the air 4 Client slots Mission downloadable HERE
  19. No, we only updated to the OpenBETA last time around because we didn't want to miss out on the Harrier, we will be staying on the current release version until it is updated.

  21. AWACS fixed for the AV-8B Harrier on the 104th server, you can now talk to and receive reports from the E3! The AWACS frequency is now 257.8, currently Channel 2 in the Harrier. For more details on aircraft frequencies see the mission briefing
  22. Can't reproduce this, you will need to submit a track of it happening. Just make sure you are not tripping your fuel cut off switch as Redeye mentions.
  23. Known bug that the team are working on chaps. Thanks!
  24. Thanks! We hear ya! We recently edited all the missions so none of the ground units would drive off if another unit nearby was attacked to try and stop tanks hiding in trees and buildings etc. This does make a big difference but I understand is not a bullet proof situation. Yeah I know this can be frustrating, over the New Year we will take a look at implementing JTAC again and see if it is feasible. One of the issues we have is that the JTAC needs to be placed somewhere he can see ALL the targets, this is not so straight forward in our missions and some of the TAs are a substantial size, however like I said we will take a look at it and see if there is anything we can do. Most of us are all in love with the Harrier too so it be nice to get to use this on home turf. This is a good idea but Im not sure how we would go implementing it, its something we'll take a closer look at as I mentioned. In the meantime try checking out our new Deepstrike Targets, they are mainly aimed at the Harrier but any ground attack aircraft can take part, the mission details are in the briefing under the A2G section. We've been having great fun with them, taking off from the boat or a land base and flying 100+nm low level to terrain mask on the way in, killing a small number of targets (fuel is an issue) then heading for home or the tanker... its been great! Thanks for your input mate! Moving Ships On another note, we have changed all our in mission ships (Blue side only for now) to be moving through the sea rather than static. The carrier groups will now be moving in our missions between 11 and 20 knots. Please let us know if you spot any problems with them, eg. you see the boat at one position and your wingman see's it at another!
