I followed the guide but I have EMG HYD lit up in my top right indicator panel. Doesn't seem to be in Chuck's photos. How do I get red of it?

Please include an option for landing gear up and down on HOTAS

The timing is all over the place for me. It doesn't even prompt me to start the battery or generator switches - seems to skip over the first step. The grammar is also off. Used Chuck's guide instead

Do you need to update DCS to have access to it? I don't see it in my module manager

My module manager is empty, and it doesn't show up in the special offers either

Have you tried the Quest with DCS? What is your opinion vs the Rift S? I am using it now with no issues. Reading this thread to find some ideas to increase the cockpit label sharpness

Yes I also suspect it's on. I opened the Oculus debugger tool while in game (Alt tab) and changed ASW to disable. I also tried to compare to Auto (Ctrl + Num1) and num4 but didn't seem to have any change with all of them. Do I need to restart oculus or steam VR or game?

I'm using the Link for DCS and find the results quite acceptable. It is much better than ALVR and Virtual Desktop, even with a wired ethernet connection. However the connection via Virtual Desktop is REALLY good for wireless. Something less demanding like watching a movie provides really high quality images but with a higher latency. Games like FSX or Xplane might be quite acceptable. One issue i'm getting is my frame rate seems to be capped at 36fps. Changing ASW mode doesn't seem to make any difference, I never get higher than 36fps. Any ideas? AMD Ryzen 5 3600 Nvidia 2070 Super 36gb ram DCS open world 2.5 open beta Settings high for everything except water Low.

I'm using a locally bought Anker USB-C to USB-A 3.0 Powerline+ cable (6ft) that works well although the 10ft one would be more useful. Seems like most of the Ankwer Powerline+ range works.

You don't have to worry about the battery issue. I played for 2 hours and the battery level only went down to may 90%. I subsequently used my browser to surf the net for a while without disconnecting the cable and the Quest charged to full (green charge light) within that time.

Link works really well for most games, but my compute seems to be struggling with DCS. Intel i5-6500 with 16gb ram, Nvidia 1070. In the F16, I'm getting 20-25 fps on the ramp and 30-35 fps in the air. The stuttering seems so bad that it's almost unplayable. The immersion is totally killed. I have all settings to Low, deleted the FXO and Metashaders2 folder and run a DCS repair. Feels like i'm playing LOMAC from 10 years ago with the graphic fidelity. I'm running the game at High on all settings in TrackIR and it is much more beautiful and text more ledgible. Perhaps my system is not optimised for VR. THe other tutorial games that come with Oculus setup work really well - almost indistinguishable from the native Quest version (which is incredibly good).

Is this the fork you use for dcs now? My controller seems to get bugged with this version. I downgraded to v4 to run dcs but it crashes with excessive head movement (checking my six)

You can run it with ALVR version 4 (previous version). The latest version and experimental v7 version doesn't work well. It is quite lag free for me. The graphics fidelity is not the best, not sure whether it is a headset issue or resolution transmission over wifi issue but i'll compare it when the Link comes out. I managed to fly the Viper and Hornet for over an hour yesterday and still remaining 45% charge.

There's a toggle near the right front panel to switch on HMCS. You also need to turn the brightness up.

I recently installed the F5E and Harrier and steam is telling me that they have run out of unused CD keys! I can't even open DCS now to access the game. This is ridiculous! Steam account: chrisongtj

Thanks, was having the same trouble as well Sometimes when i release my bomb, my TPD point lock gets unlocked as well. Was trying to figure this out for a while. I don't think i touched the TMS hat, although i could be wrong and accidentally press TMS aft

thanks for this post i was having such a hard time landing this plane as i was flying it like the hornet. the moment i stopped trimming and let the plane do its thing, perfect landing first try.

I haven't gotten 1.1 yet, but does the reset trim feature work with the 25t? That's how I fix all my trim troubles with the other aircraft.

I don't have a hotas set up - using a saitek cyborg evo. It has a throttle built into it, though. I don't think having a hotas set up would really get you that many more kills, unless you're really clumsy and have to search around constantly for the right keys. Then again, I wouldn't call myself remotely close to being one of those 'l33t' pilots

on it's website, it only allows games to be downloaded to america, canada and mexico? is this set by d2d or the developer? if it's set by d2d, i seriously doubt ED would consider them at all.
