  1. If you like systems, flying a modern jet and old school ground pounding then get it for sure. If air to air is your thing then it's a little bit limited in it's current early access form. Lack of IFF and some radar features make it a bit hard to fight and win in the BVR range. Up close in a knife fight with a visual target it's great though. That said, this will balance out as it goes through development, and in the meantime there is plenty of stuff to master. Recovery to the carrier for one will make you sweat and if very satisfying. Just depends on your focus. If you have ED bucks to spend from the reward scheme I'd use them to get it. But if you're really wanting an air superiority fighter right now, then hold off six months and you'll love it.
  2. First time on your server and really enjoyed it. Excellent mission. Crossing the Iranian coast at night, high altitude threading the needle through the SAM systems on a deep strike mission. Genuinely felt very spooky. Hit the target made it back. SRS is a great on the server, shame more people weren't using it but those that were did an excellent job. Top stuff!
  3. This could be done with M.O.O.S.E scripting I think. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=138043
  4. If you are on the carrier set INS to CV if you are on land set it to GND. Align will take around 3 minutes. Then set to NAV.
  5. Set your INS to NAV. Your INS align is complete once OK appears after the time.
  6. It's a good solution. Sometimes even hitting the switch in the first place is hard in VR though :D
  7. Possibly you don't use VR? And if you do, and it works... that's great for you buddy. But your experience != the world. A user configurable option will effect your use in no way, where as it will benefit VR users immensely.
  8. Been looking tonight to see if this was possible anywhere. Why is this not a thing? Been miss clicking left right and center in VR, almost impossible to scroll the altimeter in the F-18 in VR while in flight because you have to keep your head millimeter accurate to hit the tiny hotspot for it.
  9. Yup, changing frequencies manually in the Mirage is impossible in VR due to this issue. +1
  10. Can you not already do that by adding MESSAGE TO ALL as part of the trigger? Certainly that's what I do. But it does add an extra step though.
  11. At the risk of making the "How hard can this be mistake".... erm... How hard can this be? Would be a great addition, especially when the Tomcat comes online.
  12. Never mind solved it.... if your throttle isn't exactly at zero because you've tweaked the saturation for the AB detent it won't work. My bad.
  13. I am having the same problem. I bind the idle/cutoff to the warthog and it doesn't want to go back to cutoff I can get it out of cutoff. Also the key commands likewise, will not put the throttle into cutoff. I've tried using the finger lifts at the same time... kinda at a loss here.
  14. NO DUFF Updating in UK now.
  15. Did you do that by forcing the updater? If you did you're going to have a sad time when you realise it's regressed your install to 2.5.1
  16. I had an argument with the boss about taking tomorrow off. It was pretty one sided though... as I'm the boss. Needless to say, I put up a brief fight but then relented.
  17. Not sure if all of that's applicable to the currently modeled harrier, but useful none the less.
  18. I don't sorry. It's usually fairly self explanatory though. (6) for SA6 (HA) for Hawk sites etc etc. (U) for unkown I think. Aircraft (23) Mig23 (27) Mig29/Su27 (same radars I believe) (15)(16)(18) US fighters etc.
  19. Any search radar. Known radar sets will have the appropriate symbol eg (27) for Su27/Mig29 (16) for F-16 etc etc. I believe the (S) should change to a symbol for a known EWR type, but I could be wrong on that. The upshot is, you have to interpret the symbols and decide if it's hostile or not based on what you expect to be facing. This can become interesting in a coalition type scenario where both sides are fielding similar radars. Then you will have to rely on direction signal strength and some tactical witchcraft.
  20. Search radars. That is your RWR HUD symbology.
  21. I have one of these mounted just behind my throttle. Can either click the buttons or one finger tap. Right click is two finger tap and scrolling can be done with two finger slide. £15 on Amazon Perixx PERIPAD-501II
  22. That video is perfect! Thank you so much for taking the time to do that. Solves all my issues.
  23. I have limited mobility too and would love a key map for DECS and fuel valve. It may come in due course. Early access and all that. If it is there and I’m blind not seeing it please do let me know though.
  24. Never mind, using the @openbeta switch sorted it for some reason.
