  1. My understanding: Left side enforces what is enabled or disabled on the right side. So in the case of UNLIMITED FUEL: If not checked on the left side (enforce) the client will have whats enabled or disabled locally in his game options. Left side check & right side unchecked = limited fuel, enforced by host, regardless of of client settings Left side check & right side checked = unlimited fuel, enforced by host, regardless of of client settings Left side unchecked & right side checked or unchecked = according to client settings (local), and in case of conflict will be enforced by client side if the "use these settings for all missions is" is checked in the client options. Cheers!
  2. Yes, these are two different programs, separate install locations and separated in the saved games folder. Assuming you have only one single IP for your server, you will need to deconflict the ports being used for each server, webgui, and ports in use by mods that you add like LotATC, SLMOD, TacView, etc. Cheers
  3. Hi, instead of going the way of creating virtual machines on a root server, I created several local users each of them runs an instance of DCS, from the same single install on drive C. I am running 6x dedicated server instances on one root server this way. It runs no problem with the users in disconnected state. Each instance has its own configuration setup in each respective User's "Saved Games" folders. Assuming you have only one single IP for your server, you will need to deconflict the ports being used for each server, webgui, and ports in use by mods that you add like LotATC, SLMOD, TacView, etc. Windows Server 2019 with 64 GB RAM on a rootserver rented from Hetzner. Cheers!
  4. Hi, there are two ways of doing this: 1. SLMOD admin commands via the chat menu 2. Using a trigger based on an "Add Radio Item" option in the "F10 Other" radio menu. Either "End Mission" (which will end the mission and load the next mission according to the list of missions and other settings you have in the webgui options and/or the server's playlist) or "Load Mission" which will load a specific mission. Cheers
  5. In today's update (2.5.6.47404) the splash screen has gone AWOL and instead we get empty white square.
  6. Same here, though I'm willing to overlook it if all the Dedicated Server bugs have been fixed ;)
  7. [NEED TRACK REPLAY]ACM Dogfight Mode bugs introduced in last update Bug No.1: According to the manual on page 125 [when ACM mode is selected]: "The 30° x 20° submode is entered in a non-radiating (NO RAD) state by default when ACM mode is selected." Bug: The state is entered but the radar is radiating. Correction required: Upon entering the state the radar should stop radiating and a "NO RAD" text should appear on the HUD. Note: This worked correctly prior to the last OB update. Bug No.2: According to the manual on page 126: When in Dogfight mode, with target locked TMS Down should perform Target Reject (unlock target) and switch to 30°x 20° (HUD Scan) NO RAD Bug: after target reject the radar remains on Correction required: Upon entering the state the radar should stop radiating and a "NO RAD" text should appear on the HUD. Note: This worked correctly prior to the last OB update. Cheers
  8. I have MS SW FF2 (red) and I'm not getting any input delay. I'm using the following settings: In the Special tab of the F-14 enabled the new "Use FFB trim implementation" In the F-14 Pilot controls my FFB settings are "0" for shake and "100" for trimmer force and Swap Axis is enabled. Cheers!
  9. Hi I will try to help you... Are you sure the webGUI is connecting? are there any missions in the C:/Users/[my username]/Saved Games/DCS/Missions folder? Please post your autoexec.cfg and serversettings.lua Cheers
  10. Its OK I did it myself. I added an airplane on the red side and only that group has the option to end the mission. Its a closed community server so its not a problem. Looking forward to see the next update! Cheers
  11. Hi Surrexen, Love the mission! I am trying to run it on Dedicated Server and would like to have an option in the F10 menu that would "End Mission". Is it possible? Cheers and thanks in advance!
  12. Hi Pikes :) Your server settings is reverting back to its default and not saving your changes. I would first start with solving the problem accessing the WebGui. Check firewall, port is available, not blocked or being used by another app, etc etc and define it with an autoexec.cfg file in the config folder. Next I would check the properties of the shortcut launching DCS.exe; ensure that it is launching as an administrator (ensure the app can write to the server settings file). Another problem may be that the user that is launching DCS does not have enough rights. Once you have that solved the settings you save in the WebGui will write to the file serverSettings.lua and that should solve the issue. In the serverSettings.lua, under cfg I am also using the line ["current"] = 1, which instructs which mission # to start on load. Cheers!
  13. I managed to bypass the log in page of the dedicated server by changing in the saved games config folder, in the file "options.lua" the line for autologin chage from false to true and using a backup of the "network.vault" file.
  14. Same here. I can confirm that the Dedicated Server executable is crashing only if the user is prompted to go through the the log in window. On a different server I have the "network.vault" file logging the account in automatically and the dedicated server executable is launching the server and starts the hosting session without any problems whatsoever. Cheers!
  15. Whichever it will be, you can be sure that its a day 1 purchase for me
  16. I'm willing to bet that if LNS would be asked "Why not the F4U-1 or -1A instead of the -1D?" your answers would be similar or the same as the reasons I stated. Hopefully Marianas will not be the only PTO map in DCS. Cheers
  17. This is great news! I would actually suggest the later model F6F-5 (dash 5). It is the most accurate version of the hellcat relevant to all the major actions after the Battle of the Phillipine Sea: Battle of Leyte (Liberation of the Philippines) Battle of Iwo Jima Battle of Okinawa and for the the following additional reasons: Most produced version of the Hellcat More powerful engine with water injection Better climb performance Slightly better turn performance Increased air to ground munitions capability (wing mountings for bombs + rockets) The dash 5 was the most produced version of the Hellcat. Grumman switched production from dash 3 to dash 5 in April of 1944. The Battle of the Philippine Sea was in early June, but the campaign for the conquest of the Mariana Islands lasted through August 1944. While its probably true that all the Hellcats in the battle for the Marianas were probably dash 3s, the dash 5s were being produced at an astounding rate of 16 airframes per day and were just waiting to be logistically moved to the carriers for re-equipping the units rotating in and out of action. Cheers!
  18. I would try adding an inbound rule in your firewall for the port you want to use. Cheers!
  19. anybody know if the inflight alignment works?
  20. Where is the server located? SFO?
  21. The dash 5 was the most produced version of the Hellcat. Grumman switched production from dash 3 to dash 5 in April of 1944. The Battle of the Phillipine Sea was in early June, but the campaign for the conquest of the Mariana Islands lasted through August 1944. Or up to January 1972 if you count the last Japanese soldier to surrender :smartass: Cheers!
  22. The Grumman F6F-5 Hellcat is an absolute must for the Pacific Theater in general, and particularly for the WW2 version of the Marianas map! It is the most prolific carrier borne fighter of the US Navy starting from late 1943. The US Navy returned the F4U Corsairs to carrier operations only in late 1944, following some small design changes that made it safer to land on the carrier. Until then the Corsairs were operated from land bases, mostly by the Marines. Cheers
  23. Anybody have a link to this interview of Wags on PCPilot? Thanks in advance!
  24. I would check the miz file to see if there are any server related settings that are being forced by the miz file.
