AFAIK the AWACS operates on a dedicated mission channel that's separate from the fighter channel.

Yea, setting ACQ to TADS shows the LOS of the TADS, GHS would show the LOS of the CPG's helmet sight.

G-meter works normally for me in the HUD; I see current G located at the top of the velocity scale and max G between the Mach number and Master Mode readouts.

Northstar's post above towards the beginning of the thread has a link to the Wishlist thread for the radars as placeable units.

Neither are available as placeable assets. The models currently only exist as static map objects.

The long-and-short of it is: because that's how it works, and it sets the precedent that other ED modules should follow a similar level of quality/simulation. Primarily, the Hornet has been in development far longer, and yet its INS/GPS is not as detailed as this yet, having been plagued with middling problems (for quite some time) literally requiring the use of GPS and other workarounds for it to be combat-effective.

Enabling the AUTO INT option from the AZ/EL page will command the CIT to automatically interrogate the L&S or the entire scan volume every 10 seconds. Manual IFF interrogation on any trackfile can be performed by depressing the sensor control switch and bumping it towards the ATTK format. -

This is generally normal in nose-to-tail trim (winds depending as well). Since the anti-torque rotor (pedal position) is so far to the side, it wants to induce a roll due to its high-mounted position on the tail. This requires cyclic movement to counter and maintain the nose with the velocity vector.

Depressing the SCS and then bumping it towards the ATTK format should still command manual IFF interrogation.

There's a few open reports regarding problems that sound related to this, but without a track it's hard to tell if your scenario matches these same conditions: -
Are you selecting the gun from the CPG's cyclic stick or the TEDAC?
