Where can I get those BETAs? Are they officially available already? When can we expect a public beta or 1.0 version of LO Reload?! That looks sooo sweet ! -
Wo kaemen wir denn da hin, wenn jeder in seiner Sprache labert?! Das waere dann ja wie zu den besten Zeiten in Babel. I am also definately not native english, but you wont get the answers you need, if do not accept this as what it is: An english forum (!)

No problems installing the Airbase Ground Texture Mod with newest ModMan, after reading readme file. :smilewink: Using Medium or Low Version right now. I had a totally fresh FC installation.

Improve your X52 precision with this MOD
JaBoG32_Prinzartus replied to Pilotasso's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I now use the same Mod for my X52-Pro, as the 'issue' has not been fixed by Saitek. I am not sure if they are even aware of this. -
Good Job. I loved it! It indeed captures the atmosphere of a good dogfight.

Looks a bit too "metallic". But rest is awesome. -
how to move system processes
JaBoG32_Prinzartus replied to urze's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I neither see the problm in regards to LOMAC FC nor the benefit of setting the Lomac affinity to a specific CPU. I do not have any issues in regards to performance with my c2d Dual Core CPU. Nice "ho-to" anyway, if one needs it. -
AFAIK the accident happend on a polish airshow. Two pilots are reported to be killed. Probably some native polish could provide some more detailed info on this incident. http://www.tvn24.pl/-1,1519948.1,wiadomosc.html edit: I think the video of the crash itself has been removed from the the linked website...

Does any one know the webmaster of "The Silent Sharks Airwing" ? This site "breaks" the Lock-On Webring. Go to: http://bvr.jpn.org/index.html and klick next to go to the next Lockon Webring Member (Silent Sharks) and then try to get to the next and youll know what I mean. It's a dead end. So if anyone could tell their webmaster to get this fixed it would be cool. Prolly he is around here anyway.

Hi there, Has any one managed to dynamically make the X-52 Pro change it's button colour upon in game states? It would for example be cool to get feedback on the engine status (red-offline, green-spooled up, blinking- on fire) Also a flashing stick, whenever a missile launbch is detected would be cool, don't you think? Is there any info available on that field of feeding in-game info back to the X-52 Pro? Especially for Lomac FC?! AFAIK these colour change functions cannot (yet?!) be programmed via SST only via DirectInput (or was that DirectOutput?!) programming in VBA or C# or something. But the basis needs to be some sort of interface (lua) that provides the LOMAC states of "ECM, Engine, gear, Flaps, etc...) to use this interface for programming.

I see, you are right. Probably flaring is not the appropriate word as it seems to be a soft form of "flaring". Anyway, that is what I do when I keep slighlty above indicated approach speed and slightly above glide path during the approch: Short before touchdown I reduce power do descent into the glide path and then I increase my AoA (thats what I meant with flaring) in order to touch down softly and reduce the last 10 -20 kph. If you re totally on the glide path and your AoA is correct the whole approach, the last gentle pull on the stick is certrainly not necessary. Anyway I have never sucessfully done a "throttle" only approach without corrections, using the stick, yet.

So you recommend to flare after touchdown?! Usually (no matter if carrier or not) you touch down with the "rear" wheels first. In order to do that you HAVE to flare before touchdown. Seems to be misunderstaning of some sort? As I am not native english speaking, forgive me if I am the cause.
-
Try to fly it without speed stabilizer. Your parameters looked quite allright. Although I'd flare a fraction of a bit more at touchdown to get proper AOA, but yours should also be fine. My first attempt also failed like yours. Then I just decided to burn fuel in order to loose weight. With about 5000 Kg Fuel @ my second attempt it worked. Probably it is not a good idea to alnd with max fuel load @carrier.

Go for a 22" WideScreen. I have one and can definetly recommend it for LOMAC. -
