  1. http://forum.lockon.ru/showthread.php?p=387342&highlight=for+lovers#post387342 His last sentence: Translation: 'Up to a very few details the model is now finished and fully equipped. The next step will be the procedure of admission(or approval procedure), which I will accomplish with Walter Spannagel.' Explanation: When you want to get something over 25kg (don't nail me at this number) in the air you have to make a procedure of admission/approval procedure in Germany. This includes a full stress test to the fuselage and also a proof of save and controlled flight. Its almost the same approval you have to do if you have built you own ultra light plane and want to fly it in normal air traffic. In other words :It will fly.

  3. Nice one! I personally would prefer the tornado ... ,but we will have to wait. Listen carefully to Jim at 17:10 in the time line of his interview... http://forum.digitalcombatsimulator.com/showthread.php?t=338 ... maybe there is hope for you :music_whistling:.
  4. I know that the 'Lufthansa' don't take new pilots with laser correction , because it's to risky for them to spend millions in the education of a pilot without having reliable long time data about laser corrected eyes.
  5. Nice...,but no HUD, no HOTAS ... mine has a ashtray and a cup holder! ;)
  6. aka Hokum (nato code) or Werewolf
  7. There was a movie in Russia called Black Shark (?) , starring the Ka-50. (similar to Airwolf ) Since than everybody called the Ka-50 BlackShark. Maybe some other forum member has more info about that...

  11. Just wait only one hour and you can see a interview with Jim Mackonochie/TFC about Black Shark/DCS on stage6 and many more.... :) Upload is at 90%.
  12. I hope that I can bring some light into this 'Fisheye' thing: I hope that I can bring some light into this 'Fisheye' thing: 'The Gozr' is some kind of way right - we had this kind of effect , but it was a windows driver issue: My monitor is plug and play(prey) - but Grooves System didn't had it in the windows library and we didn't had a connection to the internet or the driver CD (I forgot it - and to be honest, I didn't even thought to take the driver with me). So it was not possible to show it on native resolution -or let windows recognize the native resolution either... The out coming was that we had a 'little' bit stretched Image of Black Shark. :) So don't worry..., Black Shark looks fine!

  14. I would Invite some LockOn Fellows to my place in Berlin to watch the Sunday show with me live on a video beamer- it would be even more fun. (pictures are taken 5 min ago (Ukraine falcons). Give me a PM !
  15. Is this what you are searching? http://forum.lockon.ru/showpost.php?p=271598&postcount=1 (click the links to the images)
  16. I don't know, but .... 120 years ago doctors had told you 'going over 90mph would smash you brain' !
  17. Many thanks, but I think that's too much flowers for me ! - I'm curtain that some others ,that had recognized also the potential of your work, would have posted also this link.:smilewink:
  18. Ops,...! Now I realised that I had chosen quite the exact name for the thread of the Black Shark footage! I really don't had In mind to 'hijack' this thread or something similar... I will check the related thread names that are in the time line between together more carefully the next time and I want to apologise for any confusion this may caused to anybody. By the way: I'm finishing right now "Come Join Us ! " more impressions and interviews of Grooves and My trip to the Simware show. (Now have the permission of all persons (from most) that will 'act' in the vid to use the material) .
  19. I think not 'that', ...but you need the data first.. or you have to built one up your own and than you can speculate about what's wrong and what's correct.
  20. The philosophy of the modern 'air combat' or what's left of it goes to single seater ( or even without a pilot) so no one would say that you look stupid or crazy with your helmet... ...similar like sitting with a TrackIR in front of your pc or (much worst but the same accuracy ) like I with a Freetrack ( led's at your hat or whatever).:)
  21. I think it would be possible in a different environment than 'Black Shark'. But there for all data of the engine has to be known... and so long DCS is still alive I don't think that you will see something like that from a 3rd party .
  22. +1 -That's the exact same point I wanted to point out- ...but I think that I was a little bit too ironic
  23. I bet that would look much more familiar to you and me!:) For all that do not know this guy: It's the death-star gunner. Deadly as Stupid..-he only pulls a lever...but that was in back in '77 - today a computer would do the job for him.
  24. To implement it in a simulation: Take the 'no cockpit view' :) and forget all the click able nonsense!
  25. Yea, worth to mention!
