2. Logitech FFB pro joystick: No-go for DCS titels! (not precise enough -XY resolution to low!) Saitek Evo Force: No-go for DCS titels! ( translation of the FFB commands not proper enogh and the spring is 'not useful' to compensate missing force in BS) Wingman FFB: No-go for DCS titels! (Works only at a Diner party to impress 'Friends' while flying in 'SuperMario' or 'Arkanoid') Spare your money and get a Used Ms Sidewinder FFB 2(USB) or the Game port version(sometimes only15€ at ebay). Than add another 15€ (or less) for a PCI sound card with a midi/Gameport connection - a "USB to Gameport connector" will not translate all FFB commands !
3. Flanker Ride (6 screens LockOn - FC) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rn9-y-wOFiA - a 720p HD version will be soon at my site.
4. LOOK OUT! OK- I have to admit that you can call this also advert..., but I just have to show it...:)
5. Please don't follow the 'marketing hype'... When you running a refresh rate of 60Hz (60 new actualisations of the output in a sec) you would only need 20m/s -under that number you wouldn't be able to notice a change... EDIT(found my calculator): 1sec/60hz= 0,016sec per frame -so if you use a monitor with 60hz,and 3 m/s (3m/s=0,003 sec)refreshment and you running application with steady 60frames (every 0,016666.. sec a new frame)- the monitor have to wait every 0,013 sec each new frame for new data - ... to notice a difference - and mostly only when from total Black to a white - it would appear for 6 m/s as Gray...so you would need a refresh rate of 120Hz (!) to benefit from the frame refreshment of your next Monitor... After said that- we all running a simulation where we are happy to have steady 30 frames (The barrier that a normal human being can track) . So you will only pay for a number on the package without ever benefit from it... (because you never would be able [even Chuck Norris or Steve Austin -but maybe Auto-Man;)] wouldn't notice the difference between 15m/s or 3m/s -only insects are able to split a sec in 120 individual images...that's why a fly is able to escape before you even notice yourself that you want to move your arm to hit the Fly..). Back to topic: Which Monitor specifications do you want? ::)
6. AFAIK: the only FFB stick that gives you the needed precision is the MS Sidewinder FFB (...and I tested a lot sticks...)! Below two threads for more explanation: Black Shark Techdemo - Trim with Force Feedback: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=33221 Cougar with FFB: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=33320

13. I will tell this also to this bastard when I meet him!
14. IMHO-This is a decision you have to do yourself... but look at this video to make up your mind: http://www.veoh.com/videos/v1627326198keXc3X AFAIK uses the guy in the vid a 22" top monitor and a 15" touchscreen on a XP set-up for BS. I think that I read somewhere that it was a 1680x2100 "span" mode resolution. BTW: Someone should slap him in the face if he release a video with such bad sound levels again!
15. Hi Guys! I'm just a little bit interested how much of you out there....:music_whistling: (6 of you are right now in contact with me) If 'this':) holds on I'm considering to install a Hub for my stuff in Melbourne or New Zealand and save you also shipping costs. :) edit: please give me also a pm wit your clear name - Its hard for me to track all nicknames and compare them with the requests that you have already send via e-mail (most of them without the nickname).
16. Install the plugins or Use MS Internet Explorer to watch the stream - I had also problems in Firefox -with I-net E. no problems.
17. use than up to 250 . But I warn you! You have to use "performance" (I have no AtI) setting in the control panel - This could cause heavy Stuttering (at my system) when using High Quality. But it should be clear why it Happens: the GPU/CPU has much more objects to calculate that appear now at the sides.... Edit: You don't have to Thank me! just give me reputation next time...;)
18. :thumbup:Woodstock! Btw : The XY"potis" of a X52/X52pro Stick are measuring a magnetic field -so no moving parts like in conventional potentiometers- so you don't have to worry that they a worn out when buying a second hand one.
19. No Offence! Only a question: How much you paid to read this article?!- also nothing ? OK -than please don't wonder what kind of "journalism" we see in the I-net (I wouldn't call it:"journalism" - its more what groove said!) these days. And in TV and..... ....I know: If you want good information and be well informed on a quick way: -you have to pay for it!
20. Help us to help you:) : Os? Driver? which axis isn't working? Do you get same results on a different PC? ...the more info we get , than better.
21. IHMO - the Saitek Aviator has all what it needs to 'start' with: Rapid fire trigger 4 buttons 8-way ‘point-of-view’ hat switch 4 two-way toggle switches 3D Twist Rudder control Dual throttles Single spring gimbal mechanism And he is also not so expensive. And when you 'upgrade' you can use him as some kind of "centre console" - and most imported: he is precise !
22. ...\Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50\Config\View\ view.lua -- Camera view angle limits {view angle min, view angle max}. CameraViewAngleLimits = {} CameraViewAngleLimits[PlaneIndex.iSu_27] = {20.0, 140.0} CameraViewAngleLimits[PlaneIndex.iSu_33] = {20.0, 120.0} CameraViewAngleLimits[PlaneIndex.iSu_25] = {20.0, 120.0} CameraViewAngleLimits[PlaneIndex.iSu_39] = {20.0, 120.0} CameraViewAngleLimits[PlaneIndex.iMiG_29] = {20.0, 120.0} CameraViewAngleLimits[PlaneIndex.iMiG_29K] = {20.0, 120.0} CameraViewAngleLimits[PlaneIndex.iA_10] = {5.0, 120.0} CameraViewAngleLimits[PlaneIndex.iF_15] = {20.0, 140.0} CameraViewAngleLimits[PlaneIndex.iKA_50] = {20.0, 120.0} There is a view.lua in BS - change the highlighted in the KA-50 line to 200. And you should be fine.
