OP mentioned the F86.
F86 is really a nice module. The Museum Relic Campaign is well done and alot of fun to fly.
If you have interest in the F86, dont hestiate...you will enjoy it!

Well it appears you have plenty of drive space with your 1TB SSD and 1TB HDD. If not, its time to declutter!
I thought I had read Normandy could go into 2.0 if necessary.
"I wish I could fly a P-51 in real life, then I would know, but maybe that would be the last thing for me to know before buying the farm."
You can fly the P51 IRL or with progression, an L-39.

I run both...Neither confusing nor frustrating at all. People are alot smarter than you suspect. Its not Rocket Science running two separate Sims. So whats the difference between running 2.0 or 1.5 compared to say running DCS and even another "game" other than the fact 2.0 and 1.5 have the same modules?
There is so much information here along with help from this great community, newcomers get up to speed pretty quick.
The old standing joke use to be "AMD heats up the neighborhood"
Is that still true? Did they ever "beat the heat" issue?
I've admittedly been out of touch and I'm Intel Biased being a former employee.
Ill buy AMD GPUs but never their CPUs.
Visibiliy through the prop is an issue for me. It was the first thing I immediatly noticed on the first and subsequent Spitfire flights. Not only in the gun sight zone but on the full propeller.
I have no FPS problems...not using VR. Its not my system or tweaks needed.
Its just too dark and has lines when zoomed in...It needs some adjustment IMHO...or we may be talking a seizure inducing strobe effect. Not to mention spotting and following bogies in the distance. In that instance it really obscures the view.
Others I fly with in same flights with similar setups are seeing the same.
Its not impossible to fly...but certainly irritating.
Love the module so far.
However, I feel like the view through the prop needs a little work. Isn't it a Tad Heavy? Might just be my old eyes though. Spotting a Target straight ahead is going to be an issue with it the way it is.. If it is correct, so be it.
I'm not complaining here and I know it's early...Just makes me feel better to mention it.
So two weeks and 2017 is incoming...
One would think if Normandy is not going to make its 2016 debut...we should have heard by now that it is not. I guess thats roundabout opitimism. Still hope until we hear different.
Maybe we will get that update today...not too much to ask since time is running out.
2016 was to be a great year for DCS. Well we are there...or are we not?
This theme is occuring in several threads. A testament of well deserved appreciation and Thanks for what ED brings to each of us individually and collectively.
So Thank You and A Merry Christmas! or Happy Holidays! to all of the ED Team! And to all of my fellow flight simmers who make up this community!
