No...the key is dont slip off the runway or taxiway. If you did...you screwed up plain and simple. If you did that IRL, the aircraft will have to be towed. :music_whistling:

Many here that cry are just to young to have gone through those days...so they cannot appreciate that from whence we came. Its just the entitled crowd that wants it all and wants it now. Back then I was flying those sims via dial-up. Now that was truly frustrating. Yes ED is doing a great job...and many do appreciate their efforts and understand. We can see who they are.

What about obstacles on the beaches?

AI behavior improvement would be fantastic....but until then, eyecandy is how we get a more pleasing and immersive environment rather than a washed out boring world. Can you imagine the complaining if we were still flying to with "old school" graphics? Ugh.... Hopefully, AI will be addressed in the not to distant future. All for that!

Dang...i guess I knew that...I guess your right about that...but "Everything Is Subject to Change". If it makes its "Hope to" 2016 debut...the difference is only a few weeks. Thats why I would think it possible...and it would be a great gifted surprise. We could all do with an unannounced gift right about now.. yeah I know... thats not how it works...normally.

We can only hope that one day the AI behavior will be addressed and tweaked. While I prefer flying with and against human pilots there are times I do fly against AI. That is when I am reminded how much I hate them. Just way to frustrating. That said, not interested in a "gaming" aspect. For me its all about simulation. If I wanted a game, I would go elsewhere.

Feeling optimistic that it is quite possible for the Spitfire and Normandy to be early released together on December 16th. Makes too much sense...right?

I had one and liked it as an interim when my X55 croaked. For me the large rocker was way better for rudder than the twist of the stick which you can lock down. That is...if you dont have pedals and need it.

Welcome to the Community! Alot of good advice here as always. Whatever you choose for starters you will certainly expand your hangar eventually. A10C to me is a must have. If you master its systems, all the rest will come easy. Of ourse the F18 will be quite the learning curve when it comes. So much goodness to look forward to here...you have landed in a good place. I dont have a 390 or later but have been running a Powercolor R9 295X2 8GB card for several years now. Never had any problems with DCS. Everyhing is on highest settings whether its 1.5 or 2.0. Spoiler holds my system.

Are you talking about 1.5 Open Beta in both cases? Because 1.5 has not been patched yet with this latest version.

What exactly do you mean? And where exactly to find them? I dont think I have this issue but I want to be sure.

Except for the time a friend of mine and I did just that in Cessna at MCAS Beaufort at night. They turned on the strobes for us upon request. That, i will never forget.
