  1. I run everything at max whether 1.5 or NTTR wih no issues. See spoiler for sys.
  2. Gave up and bought the Mig (which I will never fly) using bonus points just to get the Campaign. Glad I did. Nice work Apache.
  3. Yes mission two. When the four choppers took off from the AO two collided and crashed. I was circling over head a saw this happen and was quite surprised. As this happens in RL, it just increased the realism and immersion for me. Enjoying the campaign, nice Job! <S>
  4. ROTFLMAO!!! Yeah we call her "Bitching Betty" for a reason...if you fly low level without her, I forsee many cashes in your future. Your choice of words is very likely to get yourself in lots of trouble with women. Just sayin :music_whistling:
  5. Had one a few years ago. I thought the rocker was meant to be used as a rudder in lieu of the stick twist option which you can lock to disable. If it can be assigned to rudder, I would think you could assign it to other axis type inputs. I never tried other switch types with it. I don't think there is an axis tune option for the type input you want to use. So that doesn't make sense to me.
  6. I'm not a FPS watcher when I fly. But I have not noticed any slowdowns in NTTR or 1.5 in any aircraft I have flown lately. Taxiing or otherwise. Those are the P51, Mirage, F5, Huey and the Gazelle. I did fly the F15 in 1.5 this weekend in a server with 20 plus others with no issues. Really the only thing I ever see is a minimal pause when AI Bandits spawn from a trigger. Almost always fly multiplayer or host my own. Really never fly SP.
  7. Got my vote on this one. Love the P38:thumbup:
  8. Nice looking Skins. I was just flying the Sabre this morning first time in a long time. awesome!:thumbup:
  9. Obviously a bldg from the Normandy Map. But too fuzzy to see detail. Maybe also early radar grid or something for trains. I dunno... But surely it means Normandy is "soon" after the Spitfire which is also "in the coming weeks" "by the end of the year" and "soon" "Two weeks" "to be sure" :joystick::pilotfly:
  10. JHMCS = Joint Helment Mounted Cueing System. Will it include NVCD? Night Vision Cueing and Display? Somehow I thought we would be further along at this point but All Good. Thanks for the news on this much anticipated Module!
  11. It's been a long wait. I had to go into my profile and check my Kickstarter pledge to see if I picked the Spitfire as one of my planes. And I confirmed I did...now just waiting for the download to be available and the key to show up in the list. That will be a great day indeed! So for now the waiting continues.
  12. So 400% is a big win. That's great! Looking forward to seeing this from the cockpit... Makes me wonder just how much there is left to do to get to the great "unification"... Oh I know... by the end of the year...but the wait is quite agonizing. Maybe the Museum Relic would help me pass the time...hmmm ok, I'll buy it and I guess that means I'm adding another little jet to my hangar that otherwise I would not have bought. :pilotfly:
  13. "Soon" "In the coming weeks" " later this year" "by the end of 2016"
  14. I'll do a walk around, do a cross country flight, a little target practice along the way. A bit of aerobatics to see how she handles, land at my destination, refuel, rearm and do it again on the way back to my point of departure. Land, a perfect flight!...no issues right? I'll report back on how it goes...
  15. Cool...IMO I do not see the need to simulate track damage and destruction. Damage to the trains and the visual effects are what matters and will provide the desired results. (BTW...I'm a fan of secondary explosions and shockwaves where appropriate)
  16. I remember flying some missions near El Hotovo a couple of years ago in My A10C and strafeing trains. There were some nice explosions when I hit tank cars. Some cars and engine just turned black and looked burned out when hit. I haven't tried this in ages. Hope the explosion effect hasn't changed. Damage modeling on the train cars/engine (nice explosions and fire) is an important feature if we are so passionate about trains in Our WWII Map. If you hit a steam engine, it would be nice to see that big steam cloud release when the boiler is hit. I'll have to target some trains tonight and see if anything has changed from what I remember. In the mean time, anyone know what the current state is? Screens?
  17. And hopefully that will change...... "SOON!"
  18. Don't be afraid of multiplayer. You will meet some great people there who are more than willing to help and teach you. That will certainly accelerate your experience factor. Welcome! :pilotfly:
  19. RIP None of us are guaranteed a tomorrow in this fragile life. <S>
  20. Hook, yup. Hard to resist pushing that button staring you in the face. My way of cockpit/aircraft familiarization. Sure I'll avoid the flat spin. I was just pushing the envelope to see what she would/would not do. Now I know...thanks for the advice. LOL! Manual! "I don't need no fricken manual!" "Kick the the tires and light the fires!" "Request takeoff"
  21. Might have missed something (very likely) but once the tail hook is lowered, I cannot raise it. Also found it impossible to recover from a flat spin. I'll try again tonight.
