  1. I can definitely see the improvement, but found it odd that no one wrote about it. It looks way more realistic IMO.
  2. Yeah true, but you also can't access multiplayer unless you install at least one non-free module, I think.
  3. That was awesome! :D First actual combat vid. First money I earn goes to ED.
  4. Facetrack working fine also.
  5. This way, system is more open for 3rd party devs, I assume. You just can't include all the work everyone has done (count there in various beta stages some devs agree to release), and it would be impossible to track bugs etc.
  6. OMG, I wake up and find this... I'm really surprised ED. I'm downloading it now, I can't thank you enough for your work on DCS: World.:thumbup::thumbup:
  7. I would like to see A2A products in DCS engine.
  8. Most important in this announcement for me personally, along with the decision to hold open beta in the future is the vision of the original "core"/modular system we were promised with the release of DCS: BS. If this is true we will no longer be seeing things like BS2, constant updating of modules to bring them up to speed with the rest and broken (multiplayer) compatibilities. We should probably see regular/periodic DCS: Core* updates that will be used by all available modules. In that state, the whole DCS project will become A LOT easier to maintain, patch and it won't be necessary to reintroduce new features to every single module. *DCS: Core is my vision of main project, which will include all available modules in one single setup.
  9. This is the step in the right direction ED/TFC. We will remember and support the companies which actually listen to their customers, you are a rare kind today. Here's a BIG THANK YOU, I believe I'm speaking for the large part of the community.:thumbup::thumbup:
  10. Can't wait to take a look at the upcoming masterpiece GA
  11. Already have A10, will pay for P51 and Fighter.
  12. Well to be honest, at first, I've been skeptical, and wanted DCS: Fighter to be done ASAP. But now after some thinking, this might be a good thing, especially if with this thing ED attract some 3rd party dev's like A2A and OBRX. Even though I'm not a biggest fan of American WW2 birds, I'm gonna buy it, and fly it. I hope we will be able to see some complex engine management and realistic behavior. (I don't expect anything less from ED tbh :music_whistling:) What I would really like to see done in the legend series is my personal favorite WW2 plane FW190A, then later really sky is the limit. I can see that production time on legend series will be a lot less than the current, modern aircraft, so here's to hope.
  13. I believe that there is no separate activation for 32bit/64bit installations. There is only one unified activation, therefore it shouldn't be the problem, but wait for confirmation as I'm not 100% sure.
  14. It should work, you just need to add the api files, though you can always download and install retail version from ED/TFC website and use steam cd-key. This is recommended AFAIK.
  15. Looking forward to making pre-purchase practice for every model in the future, looking at how well it went for the Warthog, loads of beta testers for ED and loads of fun for us. It's really a win-win for every one. :)
  16. +1 for Balkans. I already have a few ideas for a mission/campaign, once we get few more DCS modules. :)
  17. Laser can't fire if you don't set your SPI. Also if I understood correctly you are bombing multiple targets in a single run? You can't do that with the LGB's as the Laser can fire only on one target (SPI) at the time. You should be using GPS/INS guided bombs for that purpose.
  18. I did not preorder DCS: A10 because I didn't own a credit card at the time, however I do not have a problem with paying for something if I like it, and the price is worth it. Especially since ED have shown immense support for users (thank you for the headtracking api:)). How would you feel if you had to work for something you are not getting payed? I personally don't want to see ED going bankrupt, keep those modules coming!
  19. Looks great, especially the audio. Thanks!
  20. Great job with both missions, I had some quality time playing them. Thanks!
  21. Thanks for the update! Use of clipmaps is definitely big step forward!
  22. Thanks for the update, and for you community work!
  23. Hold on, new API is on the way. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=73665&page=10 You can use FaceTrack with PPjoy, if you know how to set it up.
  24. In my case, it's because free head-tracking solution for 64bit is not yet available (thanks to ED it will be soon though).
