  1. Not had any issues with WIN11 or significant performance improverments in DCS ...
  2. Not a silly question. Every player needs mod installed to see all map icons. I have not tested on a dedicated server, but works on a player hosted MP session. Of course, YMMV. The mod, like the Draw Tool itself, are WIP.
  3. This in the T-45 Mod folder ... all that exists for that mod that I am aware of. T45_Quick_Start_Manual_Lite.pdf
  4. Simultaneous Boom and Drogue refuelling on the AI KC-135 MPRS is not possible in DCS. Stack a KC-135 MPRS or KC-130 and a vanilla KC-135 in your AR Track.
  5. I believe those ARGs will only work on static. I think the BORT number stuff should work on a livery. You would probably need a modded F-16 with the pilot.edm removed.
  6. Here's a couple of more F-16 ARGs you may like. 50 PILOT < 0 or > 0.5 Removed 308-318 PYLON REMOVAL 799 CANOPY GLASS 1000 TAIL BORT 1003 NOSE BORT
  7. Greetings Mission Planners! I present the DRAW TOOL ICON MOD V1.0! Break out the crayons! DOWNLOADS SECTION LINK will be posted here: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3319072/ Enjoy! Please read the README PDF for install instructions and other important information. UPDATE: Version 1.1 - Cleans up two of the new icons for improved readability - Removes 44 duplicate icons from Draw Tool menu scroll list. NOTE: If you switch the Mission Editor from NATO to Russian icons set in DCS Options, the Draw Tool will display Russian Symbology.
  8. Yes, I use CombatFlite all the time. It is the best mission planner for DCS World bar none.
  9. Make it, scale it, snip it, and put it on a custom kneeboard page.
  10. Click on the Object or Text Box on the map (if selected you will see tiny white square/box on the Object or Text Box), then hit your DELETE key on your keyboard.
  11. Here's a chart that shows the various threat rings displayed in the Mission Editor. DCSW M.E. Threat Range Ring Chart.pdf

  12. Notional U.S. State Department CH-46 Sea Knight "Phrog" liveries. Six U.S. State Department liveries for the AI CH-47 to approximate the CH-46 Sea Knight. Covert, N38TU, N449WU, N701WN, and N994AW based on actual tail numbers. Bravo Foxtrot is a notional "what if" tail representing a captured CH-46. 13. This F-18C HORNET AVIONICS GUIDE, (HAG) is an abbreviated aircrew checklist style product designed to quickly enable you to perform the desired task with the F-18 avionics. It assumes you have familiarized yourself with the DCS Early Access Guide and that you understand the basic operation of the Upfront Control Panel (UFC), Digital Data Indicator (DDI), Multi-Purpose Color Display (MPCD), and Head Up Display (HUD). *** NEW *** CH 3 - SEE ATTACHED THUMBNAILS BELOW FOR UPDATE INFO ... 14. I created the DCS AIRFIELD & FARP CONFIGURATION GUIDE and C2 TEST document to assist mission builders with FARP setup in their missions. The DCS AIRFIELD & FARP CONFIGURATION GUIDE and C2 TEST tries to correlate the old mission editor unit nomenclature for FARP creation that is listed on page 313 in the 2.7.6 DCS User Manual and update it to the new 2.7.6.X "friendly unit" nomenclature changes that have been introduced into the mission editor. I only tested the BLUFOR FARP units, using the AV-8B Harrier as a Player aircraft; but REDFOR FARP units should behave in a similar fashion. You can see the modularity of FARP configuration options as I attempt to clarify the FARP vehicle/unit components into five sections: NAVAIDS, GROUND POWER, FUEL, ARM/DE-ARM, and Air Traffic Control. I've color-coded these sections and included pictures of the unique assets that comprise the BLUFOR and REDFOR FARP configurations. The inclusion of the NAVAIDS section enhances the versatility of your FARP. If you discover any errors, ommissions or new functionality please DM on the forums. I'll update the matrix as warranted. I hope you find this document useful. Happy FARP landings to all! Cheers! DOWNLOAD LINK: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3318569/

  18. Must be for the fuels guy smoking and dropping his cigarette ... boy, the realism of DCS is astounding.
  19. 22 hr dimitriov changed the title to FRENCHPACK V4.7 Update on 25/09/2020 2021 I suppose, not last year ... nobody wants to go back there ...
  20. Is the chart above still accurate except for new unit names in mission editor?
  21. That's pretty slick. Did a JAATT out of NKT to YUM in the 80's carrying some sort of ATC gear but do not recall the nomenclature. Our CCT (Now STS) often set up portable TACANS similar to the TTS 3030 during exercises for guidance into the LZ. Now, everybody does covert, blacked out NVG landings to austere LZs.
  22. See if this helps ... a PSD starting point. https://www.mediafire.com/file/zw6bkb57zjy4ds8/C-2_Template.zip/file
  23. Missed it! Format change I guess ... flew into NKT many times in the Herc.
