  2. That is pretty slick! Great job!
  3. Very nicely done!
  4. Good to know! Thanks. Thinking about grabbing a 1080 TI as the price continues to drop.
  5. Curious to see your thoughts on upgrading from 1070 FE to 1080 TI. Will 3 more GB of VRAM make any difference in stutter minimization?
  6. Navy wings are gold. That's all. I just cleaned up the nametag. Feel free to use my nametag, flag and O-6 (Capt) rank with your helmet. Maybe we can re-colorize other aspects of the flight gear as well. I think a lot of people don't know that Junior Officer rank aligns vertical on the shoulder, not sideways or horizontal. Field Grade Officer rank is the opposite.
  7. Greetings Top Gun 2 fans. I've corrected the "Captain Mitchell" rank issue, fixed the backwards flag and added the patch Cruise is wearing in the official movie poster. Read the readme for instructions. In the Downloads section at: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3301954/ Cheers! Let me know if you like it!
  8. Correct. Navy O-6 (Captain) is same rank as Army/Air Force O-6 (Colonel). A Navy Lieutenant or Army/Air Force Captain wears "railroad tracks". https://dod.defense.gov/About/Insignias/Officers/
  9. … and they are oriented 90 degrees off as well for Lt insignia. :music_whistling:
  10. Very nice Hudson! Any chance of applying your talents to the C-130 engine sounds? The current Herc sounds like a creaking rust bucket ...
  11. Thank you!
  12. Just make sure the cow is USDA Grade A certified Kansas City Angus Beef! :D
  13. Looks like FSX or P3D to me … :music_whistling:
  14. Sure, what field with an ILS would you like?
  15. Hawkeye, Well done. I'll bring the horseradish sauce for the roast beef deck party … :D
  16. TIP: Single ship departures for the "Heavies" (TTB - Tanker Transport Bomber) Use the Follow action to simulate a formation and then break apart upon arrival to landing airfield.
  17. New sensor tech on the F-15X will allow it to clean the SU-35 clock ...
  18. Nicely done. I'll add my Groom Lake one here as well: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3584472&postcount=45
  19. Great question … I too would love to see a solution for that problem.
  20. Greetings DCS Aviators and Mission Planners, Per request of Hawkeye60, I've created a visual PDF of Skatezilla's superb info on creating a DCS.Liveries folder for organizing your "skins", "paint jobs", etc. Beware, collecting DCS skins is like collecting art; except instead of running out of money, you'll run out of hard drive space! DCS art is worth the trouble … go buy that 1TB M2 drive you've always wanted. I'll vouch for you with the little woman; that it's mission critical and a matter of national security … :D Skatezilla's OP: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2907431&postcount=1 AI Liveries Guide.zip
  21. Coming soon: DCS Ducks
  22. Jesus, Hawkeye, I have to be a Ringmaster too? :D The cows will be furious!
  23. Just went to the Angus Barn last Saturday … suffice it to say the cows are not happy, nor was my wallet after … :D
  24. Great find drPhibes! Here's a quick Groom Lake ICLS for Rwy 32. CRS 324 ID "UFO" CH 13 Enjoy! ICLS Modded Beacons file.zip
  25. snak, I only have two of the TM MFDs, but I map the "third" or center MPCD HDG SEL toggle to the GAIN rocker on both of my TM MFDs and the CRS SEL toggle of the MPCD to my SYM rockers on both MFDs. Very convenient for slewing heading and course settings versus mouse-clicking! Cheers,
