  1. Hi Brixmis I've been using a 19 inch monitor with two Cougar MFD's stuck on top of it for ages now. I knocked up this small wooden panel and put it over the two mfd's (used double sided sticky tape to keep the mfd's stuck to the screen). I made a UFC which works wonderfully. That fits snuggly into a tight groove cut out of the top of the panel. Between the mfd's I cut out an extra section to export the RWR and clock to. I can also press a button and have the kneeboard displayed there, with checklists etc. I am going to do a different version soon, with a larger monitor. The monitor here is just a 19 inch one that i got for £5 from a charity shop. Whole thing was cheap and cheerful. Regards, Milli
  2. Thank you very much.
  3. Googled this: http://www.uschivdr.com/products-in-detail/masks-tbd-1-devastator-barclay-camo-no-8/ and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McClelland_Barclay
  4. I bought the A-10C actually on the 21st February 2011. Can someone please tell me if I qualify for free map? (Knowing my luck I probably already know the answer). Regards, Milli
  5. Take a look in your C:\Users\<YOUR-LOGIN>\Saved Games\DCS\Config\View folder. Thats where my view.lua is located. Its there along with my labels.lua, server.lua, snapviews.lua and snapviewsdefault.lua. Hope that helps BackboneOne Regards, Milli EDIT: Actually, there is a view.lua file in the DCS World\Config\View folder, but there is also a readme.txt that says "DO NOT EDIT stock game files. You local changes should go to C:\Users\<YOUR PROFILE>\Saved Games\DCS\Config\View\ Please, copy the file(s) to this folder (create if neccessary) and keep your changes there." So thats why I found mine in my Saved Games folder.
  6. Hi Aries. Google "toggle switch 3A250VAC". Regards, Milli EDIT: Just seen this one with all the correct numbers http://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Toggle-Switch-MTS-102-6A-125VAC_1905580641.html
  7. Thanks skunk160, worked perfectly. Regards, Milli EDIT: Whoops, just seen your later posts. Have implemented the new workaround that you and Kingpinda came up with. Even better. Thanks both of you.
  8. Just came across this article about training Huey pilots, during the Vietnam era. http://www.airspacemag.com/history-of-flight/heroes-fort-wolters-180956245/ Regards, Milli
  9. Best goddamn mission EVER made for the A-10C. Intense and immersive. This mission has always been my favourite. IADC rules as far as I'm concerned. Other missions by him are: Operation Spinnaker Operation Ironside Operation Draugr Carbon Blade Regards, Milli
  10. Thank you. Will have a look. Regards, Milli
  11. That was amazing.
  12. The above A-10 video was taken by a guy called Chris Cannon. How appropriate.
  13. For all you AvioDev C-101 pilots out there, I thought I'd put this link up that I just found. Very nice in cockpit view from one of the Patrulla Águila guys point of view. From 40 seconds in I started to feel a little stressed, just from watching it ha ha. Saw them yesterday at Fairford. Great day out. Regards, Milli
  14. I could have done that photo much cheaper. Copy/paste/resize/blur
  15. Ummm..... navigate to your DCSWORLD\_MODS folder that you made, using windows explorer. Once there, make a new folder and call it AI Patch. Open your zip file and either drag the contents to the new folder you created, or use the zip softwares menu to extract the files to the newly created folder. Not sure what AI Patch mod is though. You will have to follow the JSGME instructions on how to arrange the folder structure inside your new AI Patch folder. Basically, you create the folder structure by imagining the AI Patch folder being the DCSWORLD folder, creating new folders exactly the same as the folders/files you are going to replace with your mod. A lot of mods are now JSGME compatible so the folder structure is already set up for you. Just by dragging the zips contents to your new mod folder, eg AI Patch, will do it. Hope this helps. Sorry if i have got the wrong idea as to what the problem is. Regards, Milli
  16. Try renaming the downloaded zip file (JAN 25 14 A_10C_C_EDM_TEX.zip) to A_10C_C_EDM_TEX.zip. i.e the same as the one you are going to replace. Replace the one found in DSCWORLD\MODS\AIRCRAFT\A10C\COCKPIT\RESOURCES\MODE L\TEXTURES folder with your newly renamed zip file. BACK UP ORIGINAL ZIP FILE FIRST! It should then work. Regards, Milli

  19. ^^ Oh boy.

  21. As far as I know (which is not alot), the gun has always been planned to be made ready during the Block 3 phase. So, the news article is just stating, in a melodramatic and negatively spun way (surprise surprise), what has always been the planned. At this development stage the plane was never meant to be able to fire its gun, or lots of their weapons for that matter. Non story as I see it. Delays and problems maybe, but thats just life. I'm sure the author of the article would love this plane to be a complete failure, but thats probably more to do with his view on life and his own life in general. Regards, Milli
  22. Nice. A formation barrel-roll would have topped it off nicely. Thanks for sharing.
  23. Just a couple of youtube setup vids that maybe of help: Link to the profile that is referenced in the second video: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/250466/ Try it and see how you get along with it. Regards, Milli
  24. No problem with mine here. Have my A-10C mfd's, rwr and clock exported to my second monitor and have removed mfd displays from the cockpit display. Working fine. Have you installed the required lua's as well as choosing your monitor config file? Regards, Milli
