Something feels wrong though, roll has almost the same response at any speed and altitude, this includes landing which gives a horrible spring like behaviour with yaw. The instinct is to counter with rudder if you make any course adjustments during final approach, however leaving rudder out you get this weird left to right motion in yaw. Two patches ago it was never a problem..

unable to reproduce The Viper lost its snap !

since we are now talking about the FBW system, bank left and right when you have the gear down and watch how much adverse yaw there is, makes corrections to lining up with the runway really difficult. -

The NASA will only adjust the offset of the force you already have set, it’s purpose is to compensate for the wrist being slightly weaker when rolling to the right. I have this set to about 115 but it’s personal, the setting you have being so low for roll force you might not even feel the difference. BFA just leave alone unless you want a bigger dead zone in the stick before any movement. You could try is adjusting the force up a bit, making it less sensitive but also allowing a slight increase in stick deflection giving you more travel before it beeps. As an example I have mine set to 4.78 (from memory). Have a look through the bug reporting (don’t want to derail the thread) as it also appears some issues are being tracked around roll and adverse yaw, especially with the landing/refuel gains of the flight control system. This could be something to factor in. -

Roll response has been adjusted try adding just a click or two on the roll pressure in the R3 software this might help. -
This is such a great idea

Do you have another axis bound to the pitch? If no then did you run the calibration test through the winwing software?

i just added a 15% curve on both axis, works a charm -
Flight Planning Screen Before Mission Spawn

Lets hope we can get proper briefs syncing so flight leads can create waypoint for all jets in that flight. -
Would be nice to have some additional key binds for the AWACS to include "declare" and "Picture" as bindable keys. the AWACS already has it for "bogey dope" I would love to see the radio commands expanded more into separate bindings that can be configured/bound to taste. Cheers.

There are a number of new bugs introduced since the new FM update that you can read about in the Bugs section of the forum, these have all been introduced since the tweaks.

Both those videos were very interesting, I think it goes along way to explaining why some are now experiencing this behaviour. I'm sure more tweaking is needed in the departure/recovery portion of the flight model, however this is also the first time people are now experiencing this with the F16 which is a big positive as it seems to now be approaching something even more close to reality. As said before good job on the changes!

Still lots of work to do but definitely a step in the right direction. I’m sure the issues some are seeing will get sorted.

As an option if you wanted to you can dump a mark point down using the HMCS and cue A2G weapons to it.

That is definitely worth a download, id also love to see this as part of the aggressor livery

I set my bingo fuel at the total for external fuel, then adjust to 4000, then 2000. Depending on ranges to an airbase. Not by the book but it works for me.

I’ve only seen this a few times and I can’t remember the conditions other than it was on our MP server. When you push the throttle from about 85% up to 100% (no AB) then there is an area around 90% throttle that the fuel flow indicator spikes and goes up before setting back down. Ill see if I can record down the environmental conditions next time I see it happening and provide a track file.

Does the AP have any command or input to the trimming? I know currently the trim is super sensitive and very hard to neutralise role. I’m wondering if the AP is also fighting this but with less authority over roll it might hunt longer for heading?

I have noticed when binding the Dobber switch you can combine two positions to make the switch go diagonal. For instance when pushing up and left the in game switch move up left. Not sure if this is intentional or not? I assumed that the real ICP would only allow you to push in one direction at a time..

Ok so I found an article from 2015 on the 388th website at Hill AFB that showed they had trained people working in a shop that maintained them. https://www.388fw.acc.af.mil/News/Article-Display/Article/667382/hills-lantirn-pod-shop-closes-its-doors/ The website unfortunately doesn’t conclusively provide evidence unless the f16s used by the 388th were the same as is being modelled in DCS.
