Well if you're talking real life... I think they only made about 8 Su-25T prototypes that were all eventually upgraded into later versions. I don't think this exact version of the aircraft we have exists anymore. As for what the became, TM's or whatever, I have no idea how the AP really works in them.

"LAlt - 3" Autopilot - Transition To Level Flight Control Emergency leveling mode - АУ-ПГ. This mode is selected by pressing [LAlt-3]. It brings the aircraft to straight and level flight from any initial attitude. While the initial bank angle exceeds ±80 degrees, ACS control is applied first in roll, then in pitch. When bank angle is within ±7 degrees and pitch angle within ±5 degrees, the "barometric altitude hold" ACS mode is activated and bank is further reduced to zero.

^ this I've posted somewhere before hoping ED can give the assets in mission editor GUI a filter system. This will become more important with more time period based assets. So you could check a couple of boxes and only get WW2 assets in the builder if that's what you wanted. They might be able to put all like types in big pools and replace things like the country file with filters. That would give the user full control over what they use and how they use it. For user missions you download you are already able to create sub-folders inside the saved games\missions folder. I suspect ED will continue with their missions by aircraft.

The map makes the most sense. But why 10-19 and not 1-19? Why leave a % out of the solution?

I agree, they're both worth more than a dollar. They backed. If they get a reward (even though far less than promised, like all of us) I think it goes a long way for them to also be invested in resolving the angst and invested in the project as customers that just might buy some aircraft.

OT I hope ED considers Sith's request to give the $1- $19's something. A mustang key or the map. It would go a long way to nail this sucker down.

Not so sure about that Sith. I'm not a lawyer nor do I play one on the internet, but I know some. Allow me to play devils advocate. I was told that the assets developed under RRG using the KS money that ED is going ahead and using in a product that they are going to sell, opens a whole big can of legal worms. Now before you tell me "it's getting old" and "to move on" or the forum hit team come after me, I am ok with update #2. I'm loosing out on some backer rewards, but so is everyone else. I'm just saying, I hope ED has a lawyer look at this.

Actually you are getting what you want in part. $1 - $19 backers now will recieve nothing. Not even the manual their name will be list in. You might not want to include Leatherneck in your example. They have said they will honor all their Indy commitments, it's just going to take longer. I agree "$40 for 6 flyable DCS quality planes? lol.". I'd settle for a couple of my choice.

The KS doesn't say built on ED's platform. It says in partnership. There is video linked in the KS of Ilya at ED HQ discussing the project with ED's leadership as well as their artists, coders, etc... Your argument is flawed.

What did I do? I don't work at ED what could I do to prevent it? It was RRG in partnership with ED and TFC, as clearly stated in the KS. ED is not "stepping in". ED has been "in" from the very start. We're all entitled to our own opinions but not our own facts.

You keep saying that ED are trying to save this mess. My point is ED, were are part of this mess from the start, so stop trying to make it sound like they were an innocent bystander that just got pulled into this thing. ED saw what the Kickstarter post said the same day the rest of us did. Heck they linked to it and promoted it. The project is "financially unattainable" on July 7 2014, but it wasn't in October of 2013? Perhaps that could be discussed? How could it take until now to figure that out?

My first reaction upon reading the update is... This stinks! I just went from all aircraft to 1 I already own and 1 I'm not that interested in. If Ed is setting the backer price at $20 per plane, they should at least have allowed us to select the planes we want and don't already own. Better yet they should refund the KS, since they can't fulfill the obligations, and start over. Sorry Sith, you better suit up!

It's not a bug. Put the AP it into ALT 3 mode.

The current situation is that STEAM will no longer merge keys purchased from the DCS store. Until this changes, no key currently purchased from the DCS store can be simply loaded into STEAM. Your old P-51 key would have been merged, I would have thought. As far as I know DCS has not announced when the FW will show up on STEAM.

Under the original KS you would have had to wait until the WW2 package was released or at least beta. As for now, the post linked below says KS supporters of $40 will get a key just ahead of this Augusts release. It does not explain lower contribution levels and aircraft selections. I'm sure they are trying to decide how it will work and get that info out before the pre-purchase sale ends so everyone can decide what to do. Wait a while. From the Leatherneck website... The DCS: MiG-21bis will initially be available from the Eagle Dynamics Storefront and possibly on the STEAM distribution platform. http://www.leatherneck-sim.com/dcs-mig-21/ So far, it's a non-issue...
