  2. I think QuiGon had it right. There was a change. Now, after that change, you must bump the throttle up to start the engine. Throttle = twist handle on collective hand grip / page up - page dn Before the change, the throttle did not need this adjustment from the player.
  3. Try making the setting changes again. Somebody told me it started working the 2nd time they made the change.
  4. A module purchased on STEAM can be installed on stand alone DCS. A module purchased on DCS store cannot be installed on STEAM DCS. (at least no easily) This is due to STEAM not being willing to merge license data. Go here... http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=113587 To the OP, is this your problem or are you on a standalone install?
  5. Thanks for letting us know what's going on. Will the delay in DCSW 2.0 cause more delays in updates, bug fixes, and new module releases?
  6. Post a track file.

  8. No need to hack around in the file. Open the mission in the editor. Your best hope for help would be to post the .mis and state what you want to change.
  9. The other guys answered 1 and 2 pretty well, so I'll say something about 3. CA isn't just about driving a single unit around, although you can. You control the entire ground battle in more of an RTS type of game play. Order group movements. Set artillery strikes. etc. The ability to have a human JTAC(s) is also often overlooked. If your sitting in a TOR or other air defense unit you are not as inferior as you might think. Limit your radar time. Use shoot and scoot tactics. You can clear the skies of other players if you know what you're doing. Welcome, and Good Luck.
  10. As of now, yes. but... EVERYTHING IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE
  11. You must set them each up individually.
  12. It's been a long time, but I seem to recall a developer wanting to do the 29, but it was on ED's no go list.
  13. The article is correct. The Kickstarter for DCS WWII: Europe 1944 crashed and burned a long time ago. It was a failure. ED's re-formulation is not the same. I'm not complaining about it. I'm very happy ED picked up the pieces and are even honoring some of the rewards. The OP may be one of the many people that backed the project but don't read this forum. They rely on Kickstarter updates. For them there has been no update for a very long time.
  14. Deactivate the modules inside the module manager. You may want to also backup your Saved Games folder.
  15. I think you confused the 2 branches of the Frog. The extension of the -T is the -TM. It is a T with the addition of a pod mounted radar and a few other things. It is based on the hump back (2 seat) air frame. The -SM is the upgrade for the original Frog without the Shkval. It also uses the pod mounted Kopyo radar with several other upgrades and modernizations.
  16. I suspect the -SM details are still considered classified.
  17. Well, if ED want into China they will add it to the available countries. Then there will be a place for voice files. You guys could then make new files. The voice files are are in open folders. You have access. I don't know if the language structure is exactly the same, but I'm sure you could make it work somehow.
  18. The core transport functionality appears to be the same as in the last 2 versions, a WIP.
  19. Really looking forward to the big girl. Good news indeed.
  20. I don't think the radar power is tied to the external animation of the dish at this time. Defensive smoke is automatic, and not well done at this point.
  21. So many of these projects might make it to completion by setting their sites a little lower. Perhaps an FC3 level aircraft with a basic (sfm) flight model, at least to begin with.
  22. Well, the good news is, most of us have no idea what the real thing looks like. Just like with the other DCS aircraft 99.99% of us have never flown the real thing, so do your best and don't worry about it. It's a simulation after all.
  23. Troop transport is a work in progress. Its functionality is not yet complete. For now use a script or use triggers to simulate transport.

  25. While it would be nice, I guess, is it really too hard to punch in coordinates?
