  1. It wll say in the post mission screen and the debrief.log I think. I'm sure it will be temp related.
  2. You can have CA only missions or you can mix and match with aircraft mods however you want. There are some missions included with CA. They are in the CA mission folder. They were built with the KA-50, Su-25T, and the A-10C as flyables depending on which one you look at. The great thing about CA is that you can add it's functionality to any mission. For instance, I've been tinkering with a Cold War 85 campaign idea. I'm using CA and FC3 aircraft in it.
  3. @GAJ52 You can direct AI aircraft using the F10 map if you are in a ground commander or game master slot. You can be in a ground vehicle and switch to the F10 map. AI aircraft do not currently interact using comms with a human JTAC. They don't attack your mark but will attack what you direct them to in the map. @Kameni You can't walk around as an ejected pilot acting as a JTAC, but if the mission is set up for it you can enter a ground vehicle through the menu and then act as a JTAC.
  4. I would try... Move your current config files out of the saved games folder and put them someplace for safe keeping. Run the sim and go into the CA controller config so new files get created. Test for the problem. If the problem still exists, just put back your old files since they are not the issue.
  5. Since they changed the gears so you must be at a complete stop to go from forward to reverse and reverse to forward, the gears have become sticky. Stop, try reverse. If it won't go, shift into 1st, then back to reverse. You should be able to get it going. I think it has something to do with the little bit of movement that happens even when you are trying to remain still.
  6. There are no quick or campaign for CA. Go into mission and change to the CA folder.
  7. Did you try a copy of the lines out of the Default and into the user?
  8. Any of the Track IR's will work with DCS.
  9. I doubt we'll see anything in the near future unless some third party is out there working on it in secret. I'd buy a DCS level SU-25SM.
  10. Gather up all those \doc folders and put them all in the \user folder.

Look for groups that will fly with you at your current skill level. Being a CH user myself, the gear you listed is good. A lot of folks use the Warthog gear which is also good. Don't worry about the comms. The group you join will help you sort that out. Installing the free Teamspeak client isn't a bad idea though. Most public DCSW servers use it. The ...Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircrafts\Flaming Cliffs\doc\ folder is a good starting place for info. and have fun!
  12. I'm not an expert in this area, but based on the threads I've read on this board, the only export tool works with 3dmax. If you're smart enough have all the right info you could write a tool, but I suspect that's not the answer you're looking for.
  13. Both the night and day Company size Kutaisi missions still have this flag mis-match in 1.2.3.
  14. FC3 is the end of that line because of the tie back to LO. I wouldn't rule out an FC3 level of fidelity helo though. It would just be an addon for DCSWorld.
  15. Sounds great! When the server is stopped, hangs, crashes, etc, will the stat collection be saved? Dumped into a log file or something? Will you have an option to write the stat collection to a file?

  17. It's incredible you can do all that. I need to learn LUA. It won't be just the open servers and PVP'ers using it. A lot of coop squads will too!
  18. Units killed is tricky. About the only thing you can do if multiple entities hit a unit is give the kill to the last entity to hit it before the kill. In the log parser our group uses, we pull all units killed and then pull each entity that hit it. When you compare time stamps you get the last one to hit it. Then there's the "Building" problem. It is a pain. Players coming and going, disco's etc. just muddles it up even more.
  19. It's not a bug. EB is telling you the truth. Anytime a chart is unavailable you have the black background. Each zoom level is a different set of charts, so you may have a map at one zoom level but not another.

  21. A text log file named debrief.log gets over written with the most recent mission run. It is accurate. Thats what our squad uses. You'll find it in the saved games folder.

  23. I thought part of the reason for the auto updater was to get more small patches out faster than waiting for the mega patch. The 1.2.3 patch was announced 5 or 6 weeks ago but instead of putting it out, they are holding it all back while they re-work the network code. Ofcourse they can release the stuff however they want but this current situation doesn't make sense to me unless 1.2.3 made the networking stability even worse than 1.2.2. I'd like to see them release the 1.2.3 content now unless network stability is worse than 1.2.2.
