I do very much disagree. What I´d like to say is that despite the workload and other hardship on your side, you guys have had a very flexible and supporting fan base on this forum. Please consider what we repeatedly have been forced to accept during the development of this module (and not only that) before saying something like this. I simply can´t stand those killer/ knockout arguments. Just as a side note: I would consider the phrase "will release May-June 2014" (without any further explanatory comment) as the confirmation of a firm release date/window. There is no implicit relativation of this date/time frame within the context of this statement. Perhaps it was an oversight... But most importantly, just take all the time you need to finish the module - I want nothing more than that and I respect your work. I just feel that I needed to say this.

So the MiG-21 module is not finalised and is not undergoing integration into DCS for 1.2.8/1.2.9 as previously stated (with 1.3.0 development "branched off")? That´s what you´re saying, right? Well, just another case of "when it´s done"...

Wasn´t the last info that the MiG-21 would still be prepraged for a 1.2.8 release? I´m a little confused. Has anything changed? Where does the info "mid-August" come from? According to the translation of Chiz´s post, ED ist not the key factor in determining the release date at this point. http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2115000&postcount=4743 -> Contrary to the original plans the F-86 has to be implemented into 1.2.8 (or 1.2.9). Is EDGE/1.3.0 "delayed" again? What are the consequences for the Fw 190?

Thanks for digging this up. Basically it´s not bad news that the F-86 is coming soon, irresepctive of EDGE status, but I really hope EDGE and 1.3.0 aren´t being delayed much longer (for which there is no direct evidence). This has gone on long enough. "By developing this module, we have a very indirect relation. Only help to some common questions. On the issue of availability, contact the authors." The same goes for the MiG-21... Yawn!

It carries risks, but defining it as a simple gamble doesn´t do it justice. Unless this is cynicism, I would hold up that Kickstarter should most of all involve reciprocity and openess, ideally. About the video: Sadly, Kickstarter is no insurance against the risks of any investment. RRG created content for which the rights were sold after they ran out of money. There is such a huge gap in this chain where no conrete details of the transfer are known. RRG went bancrupt. They had much higher additional funding goals than what they actually achieved.

Still awesome. Could you also ask them to release EDGE this week, please? Maybe we´ll get something this way. :pilotfly:

Ok, I´m not really into Star Citizen, but at its core it´s a similar idea. Also, I wasn´t really being serious. By selling all the junk I got on Steam I have made something like 2,80€ so far...

I am also very much pro upgrade!

We definitely need DCS trading cards on Steam...
