  1. Sure, it could seem on a basic level "this is just one if-then block?". From BigNewy's response apparently it's not that simple since "it looks like it needs another component before that can happen". Totally agree that it's something that should be on high priority fix list.
  2. Just to clarify, by "the new map" you mean the modern version of the Marianas map? It's confusing when you're using that term because I would consider WW2 Marianas to be the "new" map because it's only just been released.
  3. Please post your crashlog to go with this.
  4. For the record, it's rarely the firewall that's the issue in this type of case. It's almost always that the anti-virus that thinks some file(s) are suspicious.
  5. There is a check box in the settings (can't remember exactly where right off) that must be checked to be able to save views. IIRC it's unchecked by default and that may be what's preventing you from saving your views.
  6. Can I respectfully ask WHY once again you would do all this work to do this testing and then not bother to attach any tracks or mission file that someone else could use to validate your results easily?
  7. I suspect we will be waiting a while still, but BN saying "no comment" means absolutely nothing. There could be an agreement signed and paid out whichever way but only planned to be announced at opening of business tomorrow morning and BN would still say that. Or both sides could have told the other where to shove talks and therefore any potential for talks irreconcilably broken and BN would say that.
  8. And that particular error if often due to an anti-virus issue.
  9. Nice to have replies like this. What seems like it should be a simple thing to fix actually isn't (because it has other dependencies) and that's why it's not immediately fixed. Nice to have that peek behind the scenes.
  10. You're going to have a lot better luck getting any action on this if you add a short track file of it occurring. Preferred would be on Caucasus map. Needs to be NO MODS. You can save a track file from the debrief window after you finish the mission. Describing how to reproduce is great, but there are so many other factors not accounted (i.e. settings). Track file ensures they are at least trying it same way (and the devs have other tools that they can use with trackfiles to dig deeper) and rules out a core flaw if they can't reproduce.
  11. I can't help you with your problem because I really don't know anything about running servers, but I can say (since I've played on at least one myself) that others have Marianas WW2 up on their servers.
  12. Yes, you need to have a brick to be able to lock it because that indicates that your radar is actually seeing it. Probably random luck that either you manoeuvred in such a way that radar picked up the target or the target moved in such a way as to put itself into your radar cone. It's no longer completely accurate (things have changed since it was made) but I'd still recommend searching "Radar like a boss" and watching that video to get a better idea how to use the F-18 radar. And definitely adding a track rather than a picture is much more helpful.
  13. Actually most of the aircraft won't recognize uppercase .PNG. Best practice is to always use .png.

Have you looked this response to your previous post? You need to follow steps exactly, but it shouldn't be hard to get it set up properly. Especially see the part about setting your monitor to winwing (not wwtMonitor).
  15. They have a WORLD store (as well as a number of regional stores). If you were trying to order from USA store likely that's why it won't ship to you.
  16. The 1st part of that sentence explains why ED can't reproduce it. Computers and programs are complex. It's likely some rare combination of software/hardware that the people having the issue have in common that causes it due to some weird and equally rare interaction with DCS. Even within DCS itself seemingly unrelated things can interact (i.e. a plane mod causing the supercarrier to not appear in game), so not surprising that external things could also interact badly.
  17. Check that the mission doesn't include any MODS which are not uploaded on the server.
  18. That's a great idea! Makes it a lot easier to figure out what you want to use rather than having to click through each one and back and forth to find exactly what makes sense. THANK YOU for sharing this!
  19. No particular reason to think this will solve your issue, but currently you are one version behind on your DCS, so worth updating and seeing if it helps.
  20. Yes it is still helpful. Especially since you're experiencing what should be a very obvious error in this case and you seem to be the only person reporting it.
  21. Use the HOOK CAT (or something like that) binding that you'd use without supercarrier module. You'll need to be lined up and much closer to the shuttle than with the crew when you press it. I assume MSN 4 may use the non-supercarrier carrier.
  22. I agree with _Hoss. I started with WH base and stick, but the Virpil WarBRD BASE is sooooo much better. A-10/F-16 version of the WH stick works, but if you're primarily a Hornet pilot the F-18 stick (which I still use) feels better for F-18 use. You can make almost any stick work for any aircraft, it's just a question of tradeoffs. If you can afford to get the F-18 stick it works really well for the Hornet. If you can't, the A-10 stick will work fine and you won't know what you're missing (well, you will now, but you won't have experienced it to actually feel the difference )
  23. Glad you got it fixed, but you really likely only need a 2 or 3 deadzone (which will make it more immediately responsive). I'd test and see where you need and keep it as low as possible.
