I used both versions for a long time then I realized it was just wasting space and removed the stable version, I've never looked back and never really could tell the difference. It's EARLIY ACCESS BETA its supposed to have bugs and even stable versions have tons of bugs also the wait for a stable version can be long. Have fun!

Well, oddly mine went quick and I was up and trying to fly the ah64 in about 15 minutes. It was the fastest update I've ever had.

Check it for errors. This doesn't sound like a DCS issue as much as a drive issue, to me. You could also try installing it on a different drive , it is quite easy to move later if you fix the ssd drive issue.

No, you can have it, but you need to have OpenBeta version of DCS installed. Now you can either convert your Stable version, with a simple command line option, to the OpenBeta version or just install the OB version also if you have the space. Or wait for the Stable version, the choice is yours.

I'm pretty sure on Pre-Orders you have until the day it is released before their return policy kicks in and thus you can request a refund for any reason before the product is actually released.
