Sooo mechanics aren't pilots? Seriously though I watched seveal landing videos and got to understand what the heck is actually going on before I could land with a nice soft touchdown, in the place I was aiming to land, or even into a low hover. But its quite rewarding when you finally "get it" . Before that I landed like an AH-64 mechanic, In a pile of smoking rubble.

Learn how to do it yourself, its more fun when you finally get it. Its taken me from day one till today to finally be able to (some what) hover and can land now fairly close to where I wanted to and not 3 miles away. Next step is to land on a little tiny wheenie pad. lol Now get back to training cadet and stop looking for a crutch.

I just discovered that I wasn't hearing the voice responses from my AI CP/G etc. Turns out (and I don't know why) I had my normal sound playing through my 5.1 sound system but those AI sounds were playing out of my head phones. I never would have known if my Headphones hadn't just happen to have been on and I hear "lasing" coming out of it. Follow up: I unplugged my Headphones from the PC and now I'm hearing all sorts of sounds I never heard before.

I think your problem is you are chasing the I beam DON'T DO THAT! chase the target. I also still need TONS more practice but rockets isn't one of them Good luck and happy flying

What symbols are shaking? I have none of that, maybe that the problem/bug? And why do you even have to move your head? Just fly straight and trimmed and it will all line up Don't chase the I beam . If that doesn't work just kamaikaze into them

I'd say its quite easy They're just rocket just like every other flight sim with unguided rockets. they just have a lttle more option for range which you set with your helmet sight.

Thats the way its done IMO. You line up the helo with nose 2 tail trim and the I beam is just an aid to tell you if its within constraints, you also have a little wiggle room for additional aiming up or down. But generally it all has to be lined up to make a accurate shot. They are unguided so of course you have to be lined up. Not sure why so many are having issues . Are you trying to shoot left or right like the gun can? I never even read the manual on rockets and could do it. (yes I am amazing ) I've killed about a thousand trains this week alone Good luck

If ten isn't working, Keep going I have like 25 but no extention. BTW where does everyone get these extensions?

It tips on both for me but its an easy counter, just move the stick the other way a tad.

Have you messed with your curves so its not so sensitive? It took me a week to get mine where I could hover and they still need a little more adjustment.

Never used peddles for fixed wing in DCS but helos will greatly benifit from peddels.
