If it does it won't be much but there is nothing wrong with hoping :) I bought it for , I think, 425 or 450 about 7 years ago and its still going strong and is the best HOTAS there is imo and well worth the money. Here's a tip If you buy on line the shipping cost can kill you as this thing is HEAVY so I bought it on Amazon , which was also the best price, and joyed Primes for a month (it was free) and got two day shipping for free. One place I looked at had a great price but the shipping was freight and more then the HOTAS itself. lol

I believe you can cancel it and retry but if you can't cancel it will go away over time or you can go to "Chat Support" and they can cancel it. I've had a paypal transaction hang before and that's how I resolved it.

Try the missile scenarios or learn how to use the mission editor. Quick action is just that its a mission ready to go with no interaction from you.

That explains why I could see flares but nothing else.

I think they're just really dirty. I could see flares in them but that's about all. I'm beginning to think they took the "This plane is old look" a little too far. But I did see a key for it, somewhere, and planned on seeing if that makes a difference.

That's a big problem for me as you can be on page 200 and then have to scroll back to page 10 to find the knob or switch, drives me nuts. Haven't tried a tutorial since A10c's when they didn't work properly. lol Doesn't sound like they've gotten much better. :) I'll try giving it a good read this weekend though and see if it changes my mind. supposedly. haven't found anything in manual yet but then again haven't look for it :) I did go to RIO and the plane seemed to fly straight and level, not sure if he would fire on targets or not. Haven't gotten that far.

lol I actually think many of the photos bite as some are so wore they can be hard to make out and some, like say a button, are just that, a picture of a button and nothing else that might help me find it in the cockpit. lol "here's a pic of an old button have fun finding it! " hopefully this is an EA manual because it differently needs work . :(

I have to say the manual seems lacking in actual steps to do certain things. Like say fire a sidewinder. I'd like to see a checklist that says 1 cool seeker 2. turn on A2A mode 3 select weapon (and show the location and not just say left panel which makes me scroll back to the top of a multi hundred page document to see if I can find where a certain switch or knob is located. PUT PICTURE WHERE YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT THE FUNCTION!) 4 etc etc Now I have not read the whole thing so if they have that someone tell me where. The manual to me right now seems more like a "Here's where stuff is located have fun, bye" A well thought out manual with step by steps checklist with illustrations and pics next to it, not 200 pages back, is a must in complex sims and like this. With out it much harder and only encourages me to stop playing it. I don't have 20 hours a day to look stuff up. oh well:pilotfly:

FOREVER!! currently getting avg 20 KB/s First half went quick then everyone piled on and so far about another 25% has taken 2.5 hours and another 25% to go. SLOOOOOOW

Oh they made a mistake it's suppose to be 2020 (hehe don't need anymore down loaders) Seriously though at the current DL speed you might want to wait for 2020. 27KB/s SAD!

F18 also started on the OB platform.

At the current dl speed it will take 48 hours just to DL it. :) :joystick:
