Uh, it seems all you've done since joining the community is complaining about the TM Cougar. There are plenty of online groups looking for new players, how about making a thread? Hit the right windows key + home to auto-start the plane if you're on the ramp. Use insert to toggle nosewheel steering and Z/X keys for rudder. Go flying for a bit, you won't learn this sim in a day, it took me a week or so to learn to start up the plane properly.

What was the temperature of the mission? You get a lot of fluctuations and unwanted thrust at extreme temperatures (can't remember if it were -50 or +50 celcius)

Installing an OS on an SSD is identical to installing it on a HDD. My advice is to get a 120GB SSD for the OS (and DCS of course :thumbup:) and a 1TB HDD for anything else. Oh, when installing the OS to an SSD I recommend unplugging any other drives (unplug power or SATA cable). It very, very rarely happens but you may end up with the boot partition on the wrong drive. Putting DCS on an SSD I noticed a dramatic decrease in loading time.

Welcome :) Building a real size replica is a gigantic undertaking and the price tag is going to be pretty stiff for what you're describing. For 4 monitors you're looking at two graphics cards. The thing you should ask yourself is if your interest in DCS in the long run is worth the cost. Don't get me wrong, this is a fantastic sim with a great community but I can't count how many times I've thrown away money by completely swapping my interests around.

With the human eye being in the 300-500 megapixel range I think we can assume that we need a workaround for our 2D monitors. 1920 x 1080 = roughly 2.07 megapixels. As said, zooming vastly decreases field of view, so if you feel like it is cheating, don't do it.

No ground crew. There needs to be a vehicle or personell in the airbase to "function" as ground crew, otherwise you just get scary silence

Did a test flight, mine goes straight as an arrow with no loadout and 100% fuel. It's probably the stick giving unwanted input, have you tried adding a tiny deadzone to the roll axis?

Also keep in mind that the nosewheel is off-centre. It will always jitter and turn on its own.
