  1. Sorry for resurrecting an old thread but :music_whistling: I'm looking to adjust the location of the kneeboard on my second monitor so it doesn't come up under my Cougar MFD's. Is there a file to change the location? :helpsmilie:
  2. @Kashmir What I do to tweak the TDC axis is set; Joy_X Deadzone 5 Saturation_Y 80 Joy_Y Deadzone 5 Saturation_Y 80 If it is still to quick just lower the saturation to 70 or 60 etc until you are happy. Hope that helps.
  3. Nice. Always impressed with your guides. Thanks
  4. I tried to map my paddle to the brakes but couldn't... until I realized I was trying while in axis commands. Doh! I could map the paddle to brakes when I went to the right section.
  5. Ah, so the usual suspects... :music_whistling:
  6. Perhaps you could share your solution?
  7. Which models of Mavericks did it employ? A/B only or the whole family?
  8. Lol'd Chrinik.... "bug squatting" made me chuckle. I know you meant swatting, darn auto correct.

    Flight control

Good to know. I'll be taking a Qantas flight from New Zealand then a few around Australia in November.
  10. Cool, the annual declination change is simulated, didn't know that either.

    Bugs

    1. Sounds like you have your settings doubled up, 2. ?... Do you mean the trigger? See point one above. 3. The F5-E does not have .50 Cal machine guns. It has 20mm cannons. Are you sure you are in the right aircraft thread?
  12. I think it is because he is succinct and to the point which is a trait of Europeans in general as opposed to say perhaps a Canadian.... eh!
  13. I presume he means the merge turns into a "two circle" fight as opposed to a one circle fight. Here is a link to sketch and brief description. http://navyflightmanuals.tpub.com/P-821/Figure-10-24-Two-Circle-Flow-Turn-Rate-Fight-259.htm
  14. This is how I have been understanding the function of the chevrons based on how I understand the manual and in sim flying. (Complete layman WRT aircraft)
  15. Now "that" is how you present your observations... not one of these whiny "I'm a customer" entitlement rants. Thanks Pikey. @Zeus, good to hear.
  16. Math isn't my strong suit so all I ask is once it's sorted out :book: you pass it onto us laymen in a simple format. Like; chevron above = going faster chevron below = slowing down
  17. @ZHen, Here is a link which includes a section regarding NCTR; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radar_MASINT#Non-Cooperative_Target_Recognition
  18. Thanks for the added info guys. @Eddie, I appreciate you sharing your squadron resources, I can imagine it takes quite a bit of work to produce them for DCS use.
  19. @TwoLate, Thanks very much for providing that file. I'll give it a go this weekend. @bbrz, Thanks for the additional info, I'll have to sketch it out first (I like to visualize) then fly the pattern.
  20. That does sound fun and a nice challenge. I'm trash with the ME, any chance you could post your mission.
  21. For those with a Warthog throttle take a look at this thread; http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=133199&highlight=Detent%2C+afterburner It shows a couple of modifications which will help with the AB detent. They allow you to keep the detent but make it so the detent can be ridden over without lifting the handles. Just push a bit harder and they pop over in to AB. Check both methods to see which one you prefer.
  22. Don't forget to click your heels...
