Redkite does a video demo on how to take off with a heavy load. Key is hitting the STO stop to 60 deg just before you run out of deck.

I've now set mine to 15 (pitch & roll), I was trying without curves initially but this seems to working well for me. Could be a combination of adding curves and early practice w/o curves but I can plug in and tank in one go now. I'm using the KC-130 to practice.
Still struggling with doing a hover landing on a moving ship like Maverick's demo, we'll get there... I hope. :joystick:
I think they are place holders for options to perform INS alignment, you can set it to start already aligned for example. ( Once INS is implemented. )
They have something similar in the Mirage.
Agree with alexbap, the new setting is much better.
With the old one I just looked at the stick and it over reacted (slight exaggeration :D ) very touchy and required saturation and/or curves or a stick extension to make fine adjustments.
Liking the new FM
I use the push function on the Mic switch for TS, works fine since we can't use in game radios unfortunately.
An IVC system similar to the "flight sim that shall not be named" would be great, then I would have to swap my comms choices around or perhaps use a modifier.
Like some of the others I use the Mic switch for zoom functions. Hate taking my hand off to zoom using the slider (did try it for awhile years ago).
I'll try both methods but I'll probably go with the slider and stick to the common settings I use on all my other aircraft to minimize learning new controls. We'll see, never know...
Great videos by the way, thanks for putting those out.
