  1. Just getting back into the F-5 and was wondering did this issue get sorted out?
  2. @gabuzomeu Thanks for the clarification,"Hover Stop" is vertical (makes sense) and "Nozzle Braking" is a forward angle. So when doing a Rolling Vertical Landing, Short Landing, Conventional Landing you would use nozzle braking to assist your wheel brakes then when slowed to 60 kmh, nozzle lever back to the hover stop so you don't end up reversing. Hope we can assign Nozzle stops to keys... (hint, hint)
  3. Thanks for the reply. My understanding is that 80 degrees is directly down for holding a hover (no wind) but that the nozzles are able to rotate through to 100 degrees or more perhaps. I was trying to determine if a "Hover Stop" which is noted in the various types of landings (in the pocket guide) is the rotation all the way forward to provide a braking action to assist the wheel brakes. What is that amount of degrees? I imagine there will be some variables but a general idea will do.
  4. Great guide enjoying the ability of reading ahead. Quick question, what is the nozzle degree setting for "HOVER STOP"? Nozzle control fully advanced?
  5. I know the Mirage manual is being updated but can we get one of these pocket guides for the Mirage as well? Although we don't want to put Chuck out of business.
  6. Just be thankful it's not three Falcon weeks...
  7. Good news you are taking this on BD. Thanks
  8. :( Rats... Next week then...
  9. This happens occasionally in other modules as well. It's a good work around to remember.
  10. OK then, hopefully some good news shortly with regard to the A/G radar up and running.
  11. Looking forward to the Hornet but I'm concerned that it is still going to be a fairly long wait. We've seen nothing of the much anticipated A/G radar capabilities which is a major component of the F-18C. You would think there would have been a hint or glimpse of this at E3 or somewhere. I think those looking for a timely release will be disappointed.
  12. Looking forward to it BD.
  13. Thanks renhanxue, I'll check it out. Alas, yes only two days and the wife will likely have her own idea of things to see... Regards
  14. I'm going to be in Stockholm for just two days this August, anything there to view?
  15. Keep up the good work Cap' This made me chuckle "but the updates will continue until moral improves"
  16. Mine is still on the wall beside my pit as well.
  17. I agree completely. I think too many do not understand what early access means which generates a lot of threads on the issue... :(
  18. There is a method. Do a quick search, I remember reading or seeing it and it was well explained. As I recall you divide the difference in altitudes by 9.3 then add the result to the QNH to get an approximate QFE for the target. Sorry can't find the link at the moment.
  19. What cichlidfan said. I just waited until BS2 was on sale and bought the full version and wrote BS and the upgrade off to early support for ED.
  20. I wouldn't hold your breath with regards to the Hornet. The Harrier will be at least a year in game before you see anything regarding the Hornet. The AG radar seems to be an issue I'm afraid.
  21. Now you're trolling the anti troll post... lol.
  22. Now you're trolling me... really dude?
  23. Hmmm... looks more like a troll thread rather than a Harrier thread. If a clean up happens we'll probably drop 10 pages.
  24. Great post, thanks.
  25. The probe is what makes it so elegant. It's like a beauty mark which enhances the symmetry of the aircraft.
