Ah, that would be the difference. I'm using version 2.0. I'll give it a try. Yep, that fixed it. The 2.0 version leaves it as a green rectangular box. I was not trying to fly it, as I am only interested in it as an AI unit anyway.

That's because you're trying to download a bunch of files by using the checkbox (image 1). With a free account, the only way to download stuff is to select the file itself and download it manually. That's not a very viable option with how this MediaFire is set up, though. I'd suggest whoever uploaded to that MediaFire account remove the folders and zip up each mod file. A single zip file can be downloaded just fine. -
I tried the Reisen52, and it was just a rectangular box for me. The ship itself is amazing, though, with all the AA guns firing on targets. It's hard to tell if it has too many or little hit points, because ship damage in the game is so borked right now.

Oh, I didn't realize the Iowa got an update. Good show! Hopefully the Iowa's cannons work correctly. I was noticing only the light AA guns seem to work in the old version in current DCS. [EDIT] So, had some opportunity to try these guys out. The 37mm AA guns on the battleships don't seem to make any sound when they. The 5" DP guns don't seem to want to fire at air targets. The big 16" guns don't seem to shoot at anything. The battleships don't have a collision mesh against torpedoes like the LTF-5b. Or anti-ship missiles. I kind of wonder if it has a collision mesh at all; weapons will pass through the ship and cause splashes, even though "hits" are registered in the mission. I also noticed that both the battleships and the destroyers only had smoke coming out of the first stack.

As I recall, the FC3 aircraft weren't for sale individually back in 1.5; it was just a single package. Also, the mods channel is probably not the place to ask this, unless you're trying to find a MiG-29 *mod*. -

RA-5 would certainly be interesting, but I'd be worried that the current carrier spawn system would see them destroyed half the time. The F-14 has trouble loading correctly, after all. -
Hmm, going through my logs I noticed another error. 2021-03-16 17:56:13.526 WARNING SECURITYCONTROL: IC fail: textures/white @ e:/xenomorph/saved games/dcs.openbeta/mods/aircraft/rafale pack version 002 2.5.6.55960/textures/cockpit I'm guessing the base game already has a texture file named "white". If the texture file the Rafale uses isn't the same, it's probably better to have the Rafale's texture renamed.

Well, I did a look through all the applicable lua files, and those three PTAB shape files never come up, so I went and deleted them. I've modified my version as well, mostly to fix the way the aircraft are displayed in game, i.e. removing the all caps and underscores from all the names that are displayed.

Anyone else having issues with IC and this mod, even when placed in the Saved Games folder? It seems it somehow conflicts with the PTB-1500. No RBT could use the R-40, since it lacked appropriate radar. It was a recce aircraft first with bombing capabilities second. It would be nice if there was an actual role for recce, though. Perhaps the dynamic campaign will provide that; missions could be generated to fly over an area and take pictures and get SLR data that would lead to attacks on high-priority targets. Could also be used for BDA. But until ED puts in some work for actual recce, there's limited work modders can hope to do. -

Based on the empty loads of the C-5, I'm guessing you're modeling the C-5A or B; the C-5M used a different engines and had a different empty weight. The Encyclopedia entry I put together for the C-5 was thus for the C-5A/B. It's a minor thing, but it may be useful to make the displayed name "C-5A". Similarly with the V-22; that designation was basically the pre-production units. Actual in-service models would be something like "MV-22B" or similar. With that change, the name in the Encyclopedia should be changed to match. -

Woops, just noticed I left the "G limit" row in the C-5's entry empty. I could not find g-limits for the C-5, so that line should just be deleted. -
Very much second this. If anything, give us the deck items as static objects we can place how we want. Could even include a lua file like Redkite's supercarrier statics file to automatically place them. [EDIT] Also, any chance of expanding the weapon selection on the two aircraft? Particularly in the dumb bomb department. Seems a bit silly the Snakeeye is fine, but the slick bombs aren't. Also, perhaps some other GBU types as stand-ins for the various BGL variants.

Hey, BlackLibrary, I noticed that your aircraft lacked an entry in the in-game Encyclopedia. So I've gone and done that. Just put this in the MAM mod, extract it, and it should create the subfolders \Encyclopedia\Planes\ with various text files inside. The written text comes from the opening paragraph of Wikipedia. In the entry.lua file, you'll need to add the following somewhere within the "declare_plugin" section: encyclopedia_path = current_mod_path..'/Encyclopedia', Hope you find this useful! That's due to a lack of a custom RunwaysAndRoutes lua file, which tells the mod where the runway locations are, the routes to the launch positions, etc. Without them, aircraft run on some default path. I've seen aircraft like the Harrier land in space on the Clemenceu due to the same lack of those routes. Maybe talk to this guy? He made some custom routes for the supercarriers, so he probably knows how that file works.

It would be nice to have a completely empty deck, i.e. no deck vehicles either, plus the elevator in the raised position. Instead, having those vehicles available as statics that we can place anywhere we want (or put them into an auto placement script like in Redkite's supercarrier templates) would be far more useful. Also, I noticed that the SM-2 missiles that the ship launch will blow up only a couple seconds after their launch. I found that this can be fixed, and the missile will guide all the way to target, if the "seasparrow tr" radar is replaced by the "Patriot str" radar. It seems the SM-2s blow up as soon as they expect to get handed off to the tracking radar, and the Sea Sparrow radar can't provide the proper tracking information to the missile.

There's a bunch of buttons that don't have keybinds. The left and right engine push-start buttons, the L/R antenna rotate switch, appropriate "x, else y" buttons that can be used by switches on the Thrustmaster Warthog throttle base, etc. For the latter, I've managed to create a bunch of my own. -
Hmm, still odd compared to the other aircraft we're getting. Is that upgrade newer than the block 20 Hornets we already have? I'm not familiar with the timelines involved.
